Jovago 's Client Services treatment is just too Wonderful

I got a call from my MD to embark on immediate routine inspection visit and marketing tour to our branches and I immediately went on line to link up with Jovago to help me out with some very good hotels for accommodation purposes.
I browsed through the Internet and quickly went online to chat with the Jovago team,who were very polite and courteous all throughout . They removed all my stresses and that of my driver and gave me a wonderful treat all the way . I particularly wish to appreciate Miss Lara Adagunodo who demonstrated rare brilliance, hardwork and total support to ensure that all the hotels we checked into gave us true ROYAL TREATMENT...

unreliable

i booked a hotel with Jovago, the booking was confirmed then two days down the line they send me a message saying saying my booking has been rejected!!! luckily enough i had booked with two other websites.

Shocked but not Surprised - Your Service is both Excellent and Fabulous...

I like the ease of the search and how good and easy it is to book a room. That you provided for - Pay Now or Pay Later - is a great way to get customer confidence. The only advise I have is for the Map application. Can you add a From location so users can tell how far it is to their intended Hotel. For instance, If I key in my address location in Ibadan, and want to spend a night in Ikeja, I would like to know the distance. As you know - most of us are not familiar with LAGOS. Keep up the good Service.

WAS NOT HAPPY WITH A CONFIMED BOOKING BEING CANCEELED

I made a successful booking via internet. This booking was confirmed and even received confirmation. The following morning I received a cancellation followed by a suggestion for another place which I did not like at all. I was disappointed that you confirm a booking before checking availability.

inspired to have a vacation

The site and feel of it is very good...but when it comes to certain information for example hotel rates in Calabar during the December period is not captured on the site... A newbie might get misinformed and end up paying less than what is advertised...all in all customer care response is top notch... I am definitely using only Jovago for any and all future hotel accommodation where ever I may have to go in the world...

Terrible site

After looking for hours to decide on a hotel, used it for a booking and although it said it was completely confirmed and then 48 hours later they said it wasn't actually available. Went to expedia and booked a hotel within 5 minutes.

I did not get the room and was told by the country club management that we donot have online booking with any company/website.


I tried to reach jovago on there 24/7 number for about an hour but no reply.

You guys are fake and I thank god that I did not pay online.

Best booking service for hotels in Africa

Jovago definitely has the best range of hotels in Africa compared to the other online booking services (Africa is the only location I've used it for so can't comment on elsewhere). Booking is speedy and efficient and I've had great customer service follow up to check everything was ok when I'd booked into the hotel. Plus for the one hotel where they said they had no record of payment via Jovago so had to pay the hotel directly on checkout, Jovago promptly and proactively advised they would refund the money I had paid to Jovago. Great service - highly recommended!

Unsatisfactory!!!

I'm not satisfied because after choosing a hotel on two occasions and reserving a room via Jovago, i get to the hotel only to find out that jovago never contacted them. So obviously on both occasions I've been made to pay higher for other category of rooms since mine was unavailable at that moment.
Based on my bad experience, I'd advise people to use Jovago only for searching for hotels within the area of destination after which the person should contact the hotel directly.
This is my honest assessment and opinion!

Fake Booking???

I used Jovago to book with a Guest House in Kampala. I arrived at the airport, searched for the phone number, and when the cab driver phoned the Guest House they said we did not have a valid reservation. They said that they received an email from Jovago, who they'd never heard of, and had no bookings (though Jovago had shown three available rooms). The Guest House was fully booked and of no help.
Later, when we found a more expensive place to stay, I found an email from Jovago saying the place was fully booked. This email was sent after I'd already departed my previous destination and so was of no use to me. Moreover, it still hides the lie, that they never had a relationship with the Guest House in the first place. I won't use Jovago again.
