Don't waste your money
Having been to Cosmo buffet in Derby and Manchester was really looking forward to trying JRC global? buffet Watford. Very disappointed, yes a large selection but the quality of the food was very poor. Almost all the food was quite bland, ribs were overcooked and inedible, chicken tikka masala was just cooked chicken served in a weak masala sauce, I could go on. Every dish we tried was cold/lukewarm. Can't actually think of any dish that we enjoyed, a waste of £24 per person. I would think twice about going again even if it was half price.

Its a Shopping centre food court experience labelled as Global, and made it to a restaurant. very dim lighting makes you see not much grease and yak.. Absolutely zero culinary experience, mass feeding on frozen fast food, selections repeated within the different “world cuisine”
salty (everything) , dry (frozen food not cooked properly) , undercooked (duck), faked (prawns) canteen dishes. Absolutely dreadful experience, you also have to queue and walk a lot to get your food, and they don’t replenish good choices. Give it a miss guys!
Overpriced and so not worth it.
I have been to this Croydon restaurant…
I have been to this Croydon restaurant many times before with family and enjoyed food. However today 11 of us visited to celebrate festival and the food tasted extremely disappointing. The variety was similar although less than previous times but the taste of food was really bad. Chinese Indian and Italian all cuisines were below standard. Compared to the price paid the quality was below expected and even food presentation was unacceptable. Dome dishes were literally cold. The child price was also a joke as for my 11 year old daughter I has to pay adult price as she was too tall for some jokingly odd height measurements. Never going to ho back to this place again.
Ridiculus price compare to food
Ridiculus price compare to food, unbealiable expensive
Went for a meal with family and the…
Went for a meal with family and the waitress spilt oyster sauce all over my sons tracksuit bottoms. Restaurant are refusing to accept liability. The floor manager was unbelievably stupid just standing there the only advice she could give is to go and wash with soap and water in the bathroom. Of course did not do this took bottoms to dry cleaners, they could not get the stain out. I wrote to the company and they said that because they did not have the opportunity to send the tracksuit to their dry cleaners for cleaning they could only offer me a £20.00 voucher for a meal. The tracksuit bottoms cost more than the meal. If the floor manager had advised me to send it to them for cleaning instead of not knowing what to do, it just contradicts their procedure. They are ignoring my letters and emails. I am going to take this further.

Absolutely Grotesque
Genuinely some of the nastiest food I can remember eating at a restaurant. Wouldn't eat another plate of it let alone go for another all you can eat.
Possibly the worst all you can eat…
Possibly the worst all you can eat global beffet I've ever been to. The food is mainly tasteless, the chicken has a very odd soft texture, not pleasant. Not a place I'll ever go again.
Pretty good
Came back here after a few years and had a great evening. They used to have a chocolate fountain that doesn’t seem to be there anymore, but the rest of the food was really good.
Wembley JRC
We went to the Wembley JRC. Prior to going to a show at The Wembley Arena. Sunday buffet is £25 pp even for a child aged 12 who was just 150cm tall, so an adult price… he eats like a sparrow… my complaint was met with ‘you have to write in to Head Office’. Which I have done, it took a week to get any kind of reply and I was not happy with the reply. I was told I should have asked for the Manager on the day - which I did, he was not there to be spoken too.. my food was stone cold, rock hard vegetables, swimming in oil, Roast lamb that was hacked off the bone not slices and as tough as leather. £150 on food which I felt was dreadful value… I requested my £25 refunded and was told - sadly no, because you were in there for 1.5 hours and had time to choose something else… I went into detail about not eating Chinese as a diabetic, too much sugar added, also the curries were swimming in oil… I don’t particularly want pizza for £25 either… after letters back and forth. They offered me BOGOF for us to return. Valid for 4 weeks??? Considering we do not live anywhere near this place, the likelihood of us going there within a year is no exaggeration… Needless to say we will never visit ever again.
Visited the watford chain today…
Visited the watford chain today absolutely awful value for money the food was cold, far to spicy, fatty inedible food. After raising my issues with A manager i believe to be called Darius he returned to my table to be patronising condescending and aggressive point blank refused to give his name or proper head office details I will not return to this chain in anyway after such a disappointing experience.
JRC WATFORD
JRC WATFORD
This place has really gone down alot since our last visit. We are regular customers but its been a while since we visited.Upon booking on their website which is still advertised @£22 a head for dinner, when we arrived we were charged £23 and £1.50 for a glass for soft drinks.PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE IF YOU DO THIS UNDERHAND CHARGING !
The staff were very light on the floor with plates been left on the table for long periods, did not have anybody visiting the tables with the meat on the skewer, which was a nice touch previously, toilets were dirty.
Overall a big let down on food and hygine. We will not be returning
APPALLING EXPERIENCE. AGGRESSIVE & EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER/ "OWNER". AVOID.
We attended for an evening meal at JRC Global Wood Green- 8 buffet tokens at £20 per head. My elderly relative presented a card for payment. The terminal displayed APPROVED but the restaurant stated that they could not accept the card & required an alternative card, which was duly provided.
Upon reviewing the paperwork from the terminal we POLITELY queried why the paperwork for the first card did not state void or declined (the bank have subsequently confirmed that this transaction did in fact go through & was then reversed),at this point a member of staff came over & become extremely agitated. He was rude & raised his voice- without any provocation at all he became highly agitated - He accused us of "wasting his time". Throughout, this exchange he was extremely discourteous with aggressive body language - at one point he rudely interrupted me and gave a palm gesture ✋.
When I asked for his name and to speak to the Manager- he said that he was the Manager and owner.
He was clearly incapable of expressing himself calmly and politely. We clearly explained that we just wanted to understand the paperwork & asked him to not raise his voice. He then replied: "what are you going to do call the police? You are barred". We did not wish to stay in any event. We would not support an establishment like this & strongly advise you to avoid at all costs.

Went to grc global buffet in Southampton last night there was 10 of us spent over £200! Amongst us .
Half way through my granddaughter eating a chicken dumpling,my daughter spotted that it was completely raw on the inside .. after she had eaten 6 of them .
No one wanted to help at all ,the managers saw it was raw inside ,and offered my granddaughter a free drink !
Today 3 of us have extremely upset stomachs ,with pounding headaches ,and the sweats !
We photographed the dumpling ,brought it back with us .
Environmental health will be contacted first thing tomorrow morning when they open .
JRC Wood Green
JRC Wood Green: Excellent in every respect. The food had been properly marinated and prepared. Faultless. Friendly staff too
Food poisoning - D&V
I have to give this a one star because I’ve got food poisoning after eating there yesterday at the Croydon, Purley Way one. My mum and son who ate there as well are fine, but something I picked from the buffet obviously wasn’t good. I used to love JRC before Covid hit, but after being ill today and feeling off yesterday, I won’t be going back. My Mum has written to them to complain so let’s see what happens.

Very poor quality of food really bad,and if you complain don’t expect an reply back
Bad experience at JRC Global Buffet…
Bad experience at JRC Global Buffet Southampton. I think charging full price for children over 150cm is too much. I have a 10yrs old who was 152cm and does not have a big appetite.they should change it to age maybe from 12yrs old for a full price as reality you do get kids who are tall for their age. We only went in 30min. after opening time and it seems like the food has been set for ages. Cosmo Southampton still recommended if you wanted a buffet.
Adult price for a 12 year old?
Can't believe I had to pay adult price for my 12 year old boy, he ate 2 slices of pizza, some fried rice, noodles and 2 little pots of jelly!
The food was good but the toilets smell badly and are dirty. This is my second visit and will sadly be my last.
