Visiting a concert at Wembley Arena…
Visiting a concert at Wembley Arena yesterday we arrived early to search out some food. There was football at the stadium which just finished as we arrived. Having looked at the long queues to each restaurant (the well known) we went to look at Global Buffet. We were welcomed in the queue by a lovely lady who told us there would be a short wait for a table (as the were literally thousands of people looking to eat I was not surprised - took approx 10 minutes) we were guided to a reception desk where we paid £23 per person for unlimited food and £3.50 for drinks - unlimited soft drink and coffee. So the two of us, had all we can eat and drink in London at a very convenient venue for only £53. That is actually outstanding for city/concert venue.
The buffet was well laid out, lots of staff and chefs on hand to assist, it was clean and tidy (constantly being looked after). A wide variety of food from Indian/Chinese/Sushi/Fresh Fish/salad
, followed by a wide range of delicious mini cakes/fruits/meringue/crumble
It really was a feast. There is a time limit of 90 minutes, but if you can’t eat a self service buffet meal in 1&1/2 hrs then I don’t think it would be fair to blame the restaurant.
Toilets clean, staff helpful & friendly, efficient and professional. It could perhaps be a little noisy environment but it’s a central city venue in the heart of an extremely busy shopping centre & stadia.
I would highly recommend this place, for location and convenience, a great place at a great value for money price.
I wish I could leave _5 stars
I wish I could leave _5 stars
Terrible customer service, disrespectful and rude staff
Absolutely waste of money
You pay for premium service and they treat you with awful manner
As soon as you pay , they don’t care about the rest
Food was great before, different verity of cousins and delicious food but now is disgusting 🤢
Usually many food stations are closed but you have to pay for it no matter what
Toilets are stinky and horrible
Hand sanitizer tank is empty
Plates are full of water and not dried after washing
Sushis arent fresh and you will need hammer instead of chopsticks
NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL
I thought it was great
A lot of negative reviews but I found this place to be great. A hugely variety of food. Each cuisine has multiple chefs working in their section. The teppanyaki chefs were good fun and and chatted with customers as they prepared their food. I loved the various curries in the Indian section. The best of all was the the char sui bao. They were absolutely superb.
Appauling
Visited after not going for a few years and was really looking forward to it. When we arrived it was very noisy, people shouting at eachother. As we got greeted inside the staff were swearing at eachother about us infront of us. We browsed around the foot court and got chinese food. A lot of the same dish was out, not much variety. The other food didnt tickle our fancy. Well the food was not very nice, we thought we would get better from our local chinese down the road. The refill glasses for £3 were tiny little tumblers. Not worth the price. Our dirty plates were left on the side until we left, even though staff walked around with dirty plate trolleys. One staff member walked around with a wheelie bin, emptying food into the bin as people were eating at their tables, VERY unhygienic!! Definately not going again. Do NOT waste your money. We didnt even get our moneys worth as didnt enjoy and was way too noisy, had to shout at eachother to talk. If you like a lot of the same food on offer this is for you.
Wish we opted out last minute and went to one of the other restaurants there.
Absolutely disgusting customer service…
Absolutely disgusting customer service from the manager after having a terrible night here. Firstly there was hardly any food out, when they did bring some out the food was disgusting I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog, long black hairs on the spatulas, foreign objects in the cake, dirty plates. After 40+minutes of waiting to see the manager we finally spoke to him and he offered us 50% off our bill, even though he offered another customer a full refund for the same reasons we were complaining, (funny he gave the full refund to a table of 3 but we only get half because we’re a table of 8 ) Another guy was also complaining because his 4 year old had slipped in urine in the toilets and was covered in it. Don’t waste your money here awful place
Do not bother
Food was disgusting, dirty cutlery, waiter tried giving me a used glass which I seen a customer hand them, walked straight out and asked for a refund and manager wouldn’t give me one said I had to speak to head office, what a waste of a trip and money, do not bother
Awful food everything is tasteless
Awful food everything is tasteless, don’t waste your money and time. don’t go there, it is the worst restaurant or buffet I ever been in my whole life, the tables and chairs are so greasy and dirty no one really cleaned them. so try to avoid that the worst restaurant in the world, then you won’t have a trauma as I have in my life. thank you
Do not waste your money in this rubbish…
Do not waste your money in this rubbish restaurant.
I went on a Saturday and the food was rubbish, reused and reheated!
To top it all up, there was small arm hairs in my food and when I made a complaint to the manager her response was “oh well, it’s a buffet, it is normal for peoples hairs to go in the food”.
I was absolutely mortified with her response and just chose to leave the restaurant! She offered me a free drink, in which I had already paid for two refillable drinks.
Later that evening when I was at home I began to get severe stomach cramps and was vomiting and had diorreah. This was confirmed food poisoning!
I was at home for three days basically living in the bathroom!
I will be complaining to Brent council with the images I took. This is wrong and people could become seriously sick just like I did!!!!
They have no humanity in them they just want to rob people and feed them disgusting food!
Poor quality of choice and awful value for money
We went JRC Purley way yesterday. It was our anniversary so thought to have a nice food. We are vegetarians. They have very very less options in veg. If veg options are not that much, they should not charge equally to non veg. Quality of food was so bad. Rice was not properly cooked, too Spicy veggies.
We were asking them for water for my LO and they were busy in giving priority to the people who were buying drinks from them. We didn't even get water. Ridiculous!!
JRC BUFFET is very good for the price…
JRC BUFFET is very good for the price £21.00 for adult and £11.00 for kids. I wonder so many bad reviews are by rivals or people who expect £100 worth of service for £21.00....
We went there yesterday evening 09December21 and enjoyed it very well.
I would suggest JRC WEMBLEY MANAGER should be motivated himself/herself and manager should be told to do training of people working there to be friendly...many of them were friendly but I think it can be better with training, clear and polite communication and acknowledging hard work of people working there.....
Another thing I noticed that sections are not labled as which country is the section for....and also not all cusines advertised on website are there....Website should only advertise what is happening on ground....
I did not notice issue but I WOULD EMPHASISE MANAGEMWNT TO BE ABSOLUTELY ON TOP OF CLEANING AND DISINFECTION ROUTINES.....IN THIS ENVIRONMENT OF PENDAMIC.....
I hope my review helps both customers and JRC GLOBAL BUFFET WEMBLEY.... OVERALL IT WAS VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.....WE WERE STUFFED WITH GOOD FOOD, EXPERIENCED COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE, TABLES WERE CLEAN too.....
poor quality choice and customer service
Been here once before and really good but standards have plumeted and awful customer service. No real time cooking as in the past, lots of empty trays and felt we were having the dregs of the afternoon. Lots of food was cold except for the ice cream that was runny. All of this made us concerned for food poisoning and not really want to eat the food we could select. Had to pay the high saturday adult price for each of the family even though our children would not eat adults amount and the limited selection did not help. Here come the terrible customer service as informed the manager and he asked us to be patient as fresh food would be coming out soon. After another 30 minutes still no improvement talked to the manager and said this was unacceptable, asked for 50% refund for the little food we were able to eat. The response was a flat refusal and no reunds given. Showed him all the empty trays and cold food. Still no part refund and this can only be done through head office. After waiting a further time to finally get to see the manager the same response. So contacted the head office and after many emails giving excuses for the poor food selection at that time still no part refund. I would not normally complain but tried to meet them more than half way and totally disappointed to have such poor response.
Customer service was good but I came…
Customer service was good but I came back my £2.50 100ml coke was spilled they did not have anything such as good will to say to top it up that was disappointing on that note i wouldn’t recommend foood was edible i guess not great
Don’t ever eat here!
Don’t ever eat here!! The worst food hygiene I have ever seen!! Contaminated serving cutlery, lots of empty trays most not refilled during our time there. Rude incompetent staff. Toilets had not been cleaned for what looked like a few days absolutely disgusting!! Save your money and avoid food poisoning!!
This place needs a health and safety review ASAP.
Buffet it's nice,NO COVID RESTRICTIONS
Buffet it's nice, nice food, but there it's no any covid19 restrictions like covid doesn't exist, no distancing, no disinfection, no face covering, i wasn't there long time and yesterday i was terrified. Thats why I'm taking few stars away from 5 now only 1 star.
JRC global, Southampton
Cant give a zero. Southampton branch. Had a reservation for 7.30pm. Arriived in time, to find a huge queue outside. Tried to speak to the member of staff who came out, but was basically brushed aside. A family in the queue said they had been waiting since before 6pm, for their 6pm reservation because the staff we just letting anybody in. A chap with a reservation managed to corner the staff member and spoke to him, and was told there was no guarantee they would get in. This staff member then said the manager was calling him, and just walked off. We waited until 8pm, and then booked with a competitor. The 6pm reservation group were still waiting outside, and were still about 7th in the queue. Unbelievably poor, and will never return
Went to Watford restaurant yesterday
Went to Watford restaurant yesterday. The food is much poorer quality than before. The Indian food was pretty tasteless, the Chinese food (which was good before) had very few veg dishes to choose from. No tofu or mushrooms etc. The chicken was disgusting and fatty texture. The Eton Mess what can I say - no cream was dry and horrible.
I never write reviews but felt like I had to as was so disappointed as was sons birthday. Won't be back.
Awful value for money
I have been there before it changed hands it used to be great. I went in a group of 20 yesterday, time limit on how long you can stay, very expensive price, aromatic duck looks like powder, food just average, service not good we will never be back there again.
You need to wait in queue for water
You need to wait in queue for water. Does not make any sense. Food is awful. It’s waste of money. I would not recommend anyone.
Don’t go here…
Don’t go here very bad food also service is rubbish and food is cold the manager doesn’t even no if the food is halal or not and staff even don’t know what there serving guys spend your money elsewhere
Don't waste your money
