My son attended VAVA from 6th grade…
My son attended VAVA from 6th grade till his graduation this past May. I don't know what I would have done without VAVA and the how it lets you work at your pace. I enjoyed learning right along side my son and we shared tears, stress and joy over several different areas each year, BUT it was 100% worth ever second of it.

The required online sessions were too much for students starting August 2024- end of school year 2025
The reason we chose VAVA WAS DUE TO ITS FLEXIBILITY, the required sessions make this program extremely less flexible. New laws should not apply to virtual programs.

We have used K12 since 3rd grade
We have used K12 since 3rd grade, and have never thought twice about it. The communication between our teachers, myself, and my son, have always been professional and helpful. Everyone takes great pride in what they do, and that's important when they are the ones teaching our children. So glad to have this option.

Flexible learning
We love the flexibility Virginia Virtual Academy gives our family. It’s allowed our middle schooler to take responsibility for schoolwork and classes as well as explore other areas of interest. The teachers are very helpful and willing to work with you. Overall it’s been a great experience.

My son attended K12 VAVA from 5th grade through graduation. He had a fantastic experience and graduated early at the age of 16. The teachers were available and authentically cared about their students' scholastic careers. I would absolutely recommend K12 VAVA to anyone asking...in fact, I have! :)

Very easy switch over process
Very easy switch over process. Everyone has been helpful. We have been with VAVA for 3 years. Absolutely no reason for my kids to go to in person. They are safe, in positive environments and our neighbors all have virtual or homeschooled kids so we can set our schedules around play and learning offline vs be in a room for 8hrs

Love vava
Love the flexibility of the scheduling, recorded class connects, peace of mind of being able to attend school from home rather than in a classroom that has been put on lockdown, being able to take breaks when necessary, shorter school days. The only thing I don’t appreciate is testing at the testing centers.
