Very poor communications. Engineer was incompetent and careless. The guy who makes telephone appointments can barely speak a sentence in grammatically correct English. Two appointments wasted. Do not use this organisation if you expect competence.

This company was booked to come and repair a fridge/freezer via an insurance company. 3 times I was advised they would be calling and 3 times they didn’t turn up, so 3 days waisted in waiting, after this experience could you trust them to actually repair anything reliably.

This company KENT APPLIANCE WORLD accept sub contracted work from another outfit called REPAIR NETWORK. They are completely and utterly incompetent . An oven repair first reported on July 30th has on 26th August after one engineer visit ( he had no notes of the nature of the problem or the model number of the appliance though both given to Repair Network [RN], and could not do the job), two booked engineer visits when they failed to arrive, several phone calls by me to chase progress as I was not kept informed, an extra charge of £103 for a part as it exceeded the scope the package charge already paid to RN now totalling in excess of £300. Today an engineer arrived with one part incompatible with the appliance that has to go back and be "adapted" and another part not even ordered as no trace of notes from first engineer. I am left now with a oven that does not work at all though it was working with a faulty thermostat before KAW laid hands on it. I have asked for a manager of both companies to contact me to explain how this chain of miscommunication and incompetence has happened and for an apology with no response at all from either. They state on their website "reliable service when you need it most" I THINK NOT. RN told me today that they had never received bad feedback about KAW but I note from Trustpilot that 52% of reviewers rate KAW as BAD ---I agree. Appalling lack of any sort of service at all levels and a total lack of customer care . MY advice steer well clear of either of these cowboy set ups

I booked a dishwasher repair with Kent Appliance World and received a next day slot. Two engineers arrived in the time slot I was promised and repaired my issue in no time. Both engineers were efficient, knowledgeable and polite. I would definitely recommend KAP for domestic appliance services and I would not hesitate to use them again. Excellent service, thank you KAP!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
I contacted this company in May to come and fix a dryer. They came out to look at the dryer and then needed to order the parts to fix it. The parts were ordered on the 20th May and i was told it would be 1 - 2 days, i paid for the parts and then waited.... and waited..... After 9 days i emailed. When they finally do reply it was always 'i am waiting for whirlpool to get back to me, i will get back to you once we know more'. Weeks and Weeks past with nothing. (but they still had my money). By mid july i had had enough, i called a local appliance engineer, he came out the next day, ordered the parts and a week later it was fixed!
I asked Kent Appliance world for a refund (on the 9th July)..... and im still waiting (August 5th). Apparently the director works from home and he is the only one who can process refunds! A Joke. Now they just ignore my emails. If i could give less than one star i would. Please Please Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Kent Appliance World gave excellent service in repairing the water fountain on our Aga fridge. Their technician Simon was extremely good, very competent and polite.
We will certainly contact them again when a repair is required.

We are very pleased with the excellent job done by Callan today. We had just moved in to our new house in Tonbridge and were desperate to get our washing machine plumbed in. He fixed it quickly despite a difficult connection. We highly recommend Callan and Kent Appliance World.

Very happy with the repairs and the guys that came over were very helpful and knowledgeable. Even came back the next morning to reset the new unit supplied by the manufacturer.

Engineer Callum came after telephoning to say he would be late. He was in London and came down to us in Deal ( he did not want to let us down). A very polite and friendly chap. He diagnosed problem straight away and even had the part with him. Replaced part, tested Oven and cleaned it too. We cannot rate him high enough for his work and customer service - a credit to the Company.

My fault was identified and repaired in 20 minutes and luckily no extra parts needed.

Perfect service, The engineers and office staff go out there way to make sure everything goes well.
Office was a very good office staff and was very informative.

Gas Hob with Electric Oven and Grill Installation.
When booked the above job I was advised they would call on the day with my 2 hour time slot.
I received a call at just before 9am advising Engineer called Luke would be there at between 9am and 11am.
Sure enough Luke called just after 9am and advised would be there about 10am.
Luke arrived at 10am and provided an excellent service. Very polite and pleasant man. The job was completed and tidied up after he had finished. The price was bang on the quote I was given at time of booking.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! THANK YOU LUKE AND KENT APPLIANCE WORLD.

Simon was excellent - arrived on time and sorted out our gas hob problem. He was very knowledgeable

Simon your engineer was very polite and courteous. He arrived on time and did a very good job sorting out my oven fitting new parts, Simon also patiently dismantled the door (a very fiddly and tricky job) as I had somehow managed to spill oil through the top of the door into the glass layers.and cleaned them for me and then replaced the glass layers and door. He was a pleasure to deal with,

Domestic and General arranged an appointment with this company to look at my washing machine,god I wished they hadn’t!Their engineer told me he had swapped over the pumps in my machine in doing so unbeknownst to us he nicked a pipe this was back in February.So this had been leaking from feb to April, until our electric was tripped two weeks ago followed by the machine flooding our kitchen and ruining our floor and causing damage to the bathroom that backs on to the kitchen.The water damage has led to the machine being written off.I called the company to be told the manageress was on holiday was given an email address so sent pictures of the damage.No response.So I rang again yesterday to be told the manageress was out looking at new offices but would jump on this email when she came back in the afternoon and call me .No call no reply still to my email.Reported this to Domestic and General as a complaint.Do not use them make next step is a small claims which could be avoided if they dealt with the matter in the first place!Update now saying their engineer found a leak on our pump?But he swapped them over so why would you swap over a leaking pump surely you would replace it as he would have left my pump leaking in the machine makes no sense ?..

My mother who is 94 had a problem with her freezer which is sighted in a very precarious position . Simon and Rob attended and unfortunately after costing it would have been too expensive to repair . So today they came back to install the new one .
They couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful to my mother and the staff are a credit to the company .
