Highly Recommend

Nikki was amazing and kept 10 giddy 8yr olds engaged and focused from beginning to end. The party was seamless and and very professional. The girls had an amazing time and I can not recommend her and kiddy cook highly enough.

Brilliant Kitchen Science party!

My 7-year-old daughter and friends thoroughly enjoyed the Kitchen Science party on Saturday. The doughballs and pizza they made were delicious and they loved making their own butter and the explosions! Nikki kept everyone entertained for the full two hours, ably assisted by Will, and I could really sit back and relax - and they were all tidied up again in a few moments! Would definitely recommend.

Half term entertainment

My seven year old son loved the cooking course he attended at Harrogate Ladies College this half term. He made some fabulous tiffin and delicious, cute hot cross bunnies. We really enjoyed eating his creations!

Emma held a Kiddy Cook workshop in a North East shopping centre for us, the event was very successful and she was an amazing host! The workshop brought something completely new to the table and Emma has a lot of knowledge about foods and working with children. Every attendee loved the event, Kiddy Cook Live is a great way of bringing something new to the table whilst bringing some educational value. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone!!

Thanks Emma, for a great event!

Brilliant service

Kiddy cook provided our school with four sessions of cookery. Nikki was brilliant and the children had lots of fun. The children learned lots about different tastes, ingredients and how to prepare a simple healthy meal. Nikki was extremely helpful in providing information about how the sessions matched the curriculum. She brought everything that was needed for the day and so the day ran really smoothly.
Thank you for a great day!

Excellent 10 week programme

Thanks to the support from Cargill’s, we were lucky enough to have Nikki deliver a 10 week Kiddy Cook programme at our school for the fourth year running.
Nikki’s workshops for my Year 3 class were always well prepared, fun and engaging; the children couldn’t wait to find out what they would be cooking each week. Through practical, hands-on experiences, the children learned about where their food comes from, healthy eating and how to prepare and cook dishes.
Nikki’s sessions covered all of the cooking and nutrition aspects of the curriculum for my year group but, more importantly, taught the children an essential life skill. At the end of every session, each child got to take home their dish to share with their family, including a laminated recipe card so that they could recreate it.
It was a pleasure to have Nikki come and work with us and I hope that she will be able to return to St. Wilfrid’s again in the future.

St Thomas of Canterbury's weekly bake off.

We would thoroughly recommend Kiddy Cooks.

The children in both our Year 5 classes enjoyed the weekly sessions and learned about healthy eating and how to make some delicious healthy recipes.

All the children were fully engaged in the sessions and Nikki was well prepared, bringing all the resources needed for each session and she is very knowledgeable.

She was supportive of the less confident cooks and made the sessions fun.

We look forward to her visiting the school again soon.

Action packed, yummy food, fun for all the kids

We had a 'make your own lunch' birthday party for my daughter and her best friend who both turned 8 and wanted a 'cooking party'. Emma was excellent, very well organised, and she comfortably entertained a bunch of 7, 8 and 9 year olds for two and a half hours straight! The kids (and grown ups) learned a lot about food ingredients, cooking and some science thrown in. The kids all loved eating their own food. It was lots of fun and we had loads of compliments from the parents afterwards. I would highly recommend this party to anyone, boys and girls equally happy and they were busy the whole time, so the additional party games we had planned were not required!

Kiddy cook came to the Seashell Trust to work on our Saturday CADS Youth Club. Kiddy cook were fantastic at working with the young people, all of which had complex needs or disabilities.
They tailored the cooking and activities to the needs of the group and were amazing at engaging with all of the young people, who were very pleased with their finished products.

Thank you Nikki.

Learning new skills

My 6 year old daughter attended Kiddy Cook through school, and looked forward to every Wednesday.

Each week she would learn a new skill, and bring home her creations to finish off at home, such as spring rolls, vegetable noodles and her favourite pizza, which had all been started from scratch in class.

I feel the price was very fair as all ingredients were provided by Kiddy Cook.

Pizzas, Unicorn Biscuits and Slime

Nikki hosted a Kiddy Cook Pizza Making party for my daughter (who turned 8) and 12 of her friends. All the kids had a brilliant time making the pizza dough and customising their pizzas, decorating the unicorn biscuits and creating and playing with the edible slime!

Making the pizza dough was Amy’s favourite part of the day... she also loved making the slime.

I was really impressed at how organised everything was and with how Nikki engaged with the kids. She filled the 2 hours we had with activities from start to finish. From the scientific review of the thoroughness of their hand-washing process (pre-cooking), to talking about how pizza dough rises, and the explanation of key cooking terminology throughout, the activities were educational and fun. It is a party we will all remember for many years to come!

Interactive and Inclusive Culinary Lessons

Through interactive, inclusive lessons, Nicki has developed my class’s health related knowledge and behaviours. Many children had never handled cooking utensils, let alone tried the ingredients, so this has been a brilliant experience that has whetted their appetites for more.
Each child enjoyed preparing a dish each, and their culinary confidence grew weekly. It was fantastic to see the children so enthused after sharing dishes with their families. The recipe cards sent home were well prepared and proved invaluable as they have been used many times since!
The resources Nicki brought weekly were great and the learning objectives from each lesson were clear, concise and in line with the national curriculum expectations.

WW2 school workshop

Firstly, Emma is organised and reliable. Good communication and clear with what she'll do which from a school's point of view is essential. We asked her to come into our 2 schools to do a workshop on rationing to support our WW2 themed topic. This workshop really enhanced their learning and gave them another way of engaging with the topic. Her cookery steps were easy to follow and she was very much in control the whole time. The children all thoroughly enjoyed their experiences, gained excellent information in a cross curricular way and got to take home some tasty, ration-recipe treats. Thanks Emma

Excellent course

Brilliant morning with 6 small children picking fruit and vegetables then preparing them for dishes to take home. My grandaughter and I had a lovely morning and would definitely book onto another course as and when dates become available.

The perfect party for 8 year old girls x

The perfect party for 8, 8 year old girls. Emma was fabulous, I have never held a childrens party before when I didn't have to do anything and the children were fully entertained for 2 1/2 hours. They all had such fun and are still talking about it now 2 weeks later. We had a kitchen science party and made pizzas and dough balls , the girls even made their own butter. Then it was rockets and slime. I would highly recommend. Emma was so organised and brought absolutely everything with her and the timing of the party was such that they ate what they made and we didn't even have to provide party tea. Thanks so much xx
