For the most part, great!

I used this site for the first time the other day and I have to say it was worth it. The response time was fairly quick, and my order was shipped and delivered quickly after I paid it. The cards I got were in great condition and I would most definitely shop here again! The only thing however which makes this review a 4 star, and not a 5 star, is the fact that you pay a handling fee. This is only a small gripe but it's enough to lower it down because plenty of other sites do not have a handling fee, and this may deter me from making large orders as it increases depending on how much you order. For small orders though it isn't too bad, and the cards I ordered weren't available on any other site, so that was a benefit!

Never had a problem, literally the best site in my opinion

I have used KoolKingdom for about 3 years now and literally every time I've purchased from them I couldn't be happier. I personally think they have a large selection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards at a really fair price, where I live there isn't anywhere you can pick up cards nearby so it's great that I can pop online and get boosters or singles from them.
I only ever have to wait 1 full day between from when I place my order to when they arrive (obviously a couple of extra days if I order on the weekend) and I don't get these other reviews saying they've had to wait for weeks with no communication. The only 1 time they were out of stock on an a booster pack they said they had in stock I had a missed call and an answer phone message the day after placing the order with them being so apologetic and asking what pack I'd like instead.
To sum it up I think they're great and I know I'll continue to shop with them

No complaints whatsoever.

Aside from a slightly cringey name choice KoolKingdom have been a solid company in my experience. I've always been happy with their prices and product range and their customer service has been incredibly friendly and helpful any time I have contacted them.

Not much else to say really, I'm happy with them and will continue to order from them in future.

Excellent condition cards and efficient service

I have ordered Yu-Gi-Oh cards from this site several times and all orders have arrived within about four working days. All cards were mint condition and had not been played. Cards came in protective sleeves and packaging. The site has a wide variety of cards varying from popular staples and frequently played cards from the current format (April 2016) such as Maxx "C", Emperor of Darkness Structure Deck, Ignister Prominence the Blasting Dracoslayer and Dante, Traveller of the Burning Abyss, to obscure, lesser-known cards like Crab Turtle, Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise and many others. All are cheap compared to most other sites and a variety of rarieties are available.

I have been satisfied with every purchase I have made from Koolkingdom.

Avoid this site

Please ignore good reviews as they are fake. Kool Kingdom is the worst site to buy cards from.

- They offer 'free gifts' if you spend a certain amount like a free mystery booster pack, but don't expect to get anything like a Pokemon or MTG booster, you'll most likely get a pack of collectible stickers or pictures cards which are worthless.

-They only offer 1st class postage then send your purchase when they feel like it, expect a one to two week wait even though you paid first class.

-Only card site that charge an extra 'handling' fee because of their large stock, yet bigger websites with bigger stock don't charge you. This is like a forced 'Tip'.

-Talking with customer service will get you nowhere...

Please avoid.

Very good overall

Fairly priced, have cards that many other sites don't, I'm yet to have a bad experience with them and I've used them 3 times and plan to in the future. Sometimes don't have everything in stock but that is made up by the fact they have cards other places just don't seem to have Overall I'm very happy with them.

Terrible company, all they know is how to rip you off!

Don't believe the "positive" reviews as they are probably plants!!!

Had to wait over 3 weeks for them to ship my item, which I ordered as recorded delivery.

They then proceed to NOT tell me the tracking number when they 'say' it's shipped. Proceeded to wait 2 more weeks until I receive the item.

ONLY at this point do I find out half the cards I ordered were not shipped, extra 'handling fees' were added due to 'unforeseen issues'.

A refund was not issued automatically and they didn't contact me to inform me of this change.

Then had to phone them up as they don't respond to emails where they say they only issue refunds on sundays so I have to wait. THEN I have to wait 2 more weeks after calling them up MULTIPLE times throughout this time.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have been fairly warned.

This does indeed sound like a trail of woe and I am sorry for whatever part we have played in it. We have only had one person order from us in the recent past with the name Sam Smith and none of the orders reflect the above observations, so I am not in a position to comment on your various points yet. If you could please e-mail me your order number at ann.reade@koolkingdom.co.uk, I promise to look into all these allegations.

On the points I can comment on, we do not advise automatically of tracking numbers in the order shipped e-mails but can of course give these if you call us. We do put tracking numbers into our CRM system and these can therefore be viewed online using the order lookup feature on our home page. Sometime we do not bother to put the Recorded Delivery ones into the CRM system as the Royal Mail on-line tracking system for Recorded items is only active after 7 days, by which time the order has usually arrived; but they can still be obtained by calling us. As far as refunds are concerned, there may have been some confusion as we do refunds all the time, including weekends if we have accounts staff in working on other things.

I look forward to hearing from you with your order number so I can look into all this for you

Worst TCG card website, avoid

Do not use this website,They pretend to have in stock items so you buy, then send weeks later as it was not in stock. There are also hidden fees and the customer service is atrocious. Very rude people answer emails. They force you to pay 1st class or above and send items but they send using second class postage.

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you have had problems with our customer services. From your initials I am not able to place your order, but we certainly should not have sent out an original order by second class post, especially as second class post is not an option we offer on the site, because of the time it takes. We sometimes send old back-orders by second class post if it is a low cost item and most of the order was shipped previously, but even that is rare. Could you please e-mail me details of the order at ann.reade@koolkingdom.co.uk and I will look into it and at the very least refund you accordingly.

I am not sure I understand the comments around price reductions and Sales and maybe when you e-mail the above details you could give me more information? We do Sales twice a year (our Winter Sales are on at the moment). You are quite right that some of our weekly specials stay there for a number of weeks (until we have sold all the stock we want to for that product) and although I am not sure there is anything wrong with this, as a result of your feedback I asked our web team to amend the site to refer to these as 'Special Offers' from now on. However I can assure you that the reductions are very real as they are attempts to clear warehouse space normally and especially when taken in conjunction with our sale coupons, can mean that you are buying stock at far less than we have paid ourselves as a distributor, so generally represent fabulous savings.

Again I am sorry that you have had bad experiences and look forward to hearing from you regarding the order that was sent by the wrong postage.

Terrible service, avoid

So I recently pre-ordered a box of the latest Yu-Gi-Oh booster from KoolKingdom, but turns out they accepted the pre-order despite not having the numbers required (in ordered stock). I emailed after a few days to chase up, that's when they say they are waiting on more stock to come in, I bring up that they allowed a pre-order despite knowing it was above their stock numbers, their response in the e-mail was we didn't get what we ordered and we didn't get what we expected. Which sounds like they knew they wouldn't get what they ordered and STILL took pre-orders for that number.

So I cancel the order. Then I get an email saying they're sorry to hear i'm cancelling as they put aside a spare box of the product for the order, so they couldn't spare the stock for paid pre-orders but are happy to use it in this manner. THEN they decided to charge me for cancelling something they promised and couldn't deliver. Referred to as a pre-order cancellation charge, which considering they admitted it wasn't a pre-order box I would receive is very strange.

Its not like flipping a coin to decide if its good or bad service you get, its more like rolling a 20 sided die and expecting the result to be 21.

Hi Rob,

I am very sorry that you have had a bad experience on the site. I haven't been able to find the e-mails, but looking at your order it looks like some of the confusion may have arisen because your pre-order for the Breakers of Shadow also included other items that would have been put aside for you pending the BOSH arriving.

As far as the BOSH pre-orders were concerned, I can only assure you that we placed more than sufficient pre-orders to cover all the pre-orders we took, but in the end Konami decided to split the release into two 1st edition waves and we only received 23.8% of our pre-order from Konami. Everyone was in the same boat as the UK master distributor, Esdevium Games, experienced the same shortfall direct from Konami. I know it is not easy when you are on the wrong end of this, but please try to understand that both we and Esdevium are only the middlemen and if we place pre-orders in good faith we expect them to arrive, as indeed you did. Thankfully the remainder of our original pre-order arrived on Friday and has been shipped to customers still waiting.

As this is not a straight case of a cancelled pre-order and as there has clearly been some confusion I have authorised for the rest of your order to be refunded with my apologies

Great site, not quite perfect

Good selection of products, fast delivery. One quibble - don't tend to flag up items that are out-of-stock, only find out after order has been made. Would appreciate knowing this before making order.

Great website and great prices!

I've bought myself a booster box and 6 booster packs and came with fast delivery. Although the booster box was bent in one of the corners I did get it at a good deal and the cards inside the box wasn't damaged

11/10 would buy from them again!

Fast Delivery and Great Service

I ordered a few single cards from here. they were quickly dispatched and arrived within 2 days of ordering in perfect condition. my cards arrived in a sleeve in a plastic case so they were well protected while being shipped. Also when I had questions about my order they were answered quickly by their customer support.

Excellent Service

I recently placed 3 orders with KoolKingdom, and was ever so pleased with everything. There was a small error with one of the orders, but the team at KoolKingdom were more than helpful to fix everything. Exceptional customer service, and fantastic service. Will definately buy from again, and recommend them.

Redeemed themselves

You'll find below the original review which was left while in the process of dealing with customer service. Since then the owner has phoned me up and offered a full refund and his apologies on the fiasco that took place. They have also removed the Magic singles from their website. Have updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars as while it was resolved in the end it could have been avoided.

Placed an order with them because their singles were cheaper than anywhere else, this however was over 2 months ago, after contacting them after 1 month they said it could take up to a month, contacted them again and they cancel the order however since it was passed the cut off point for Paypal to refund me the money they had given me a voucher for store credit but to my surprise the code didn't actually reduce any of the cost for an order, not a chance I was going to sink money into such an unreliable company again.

Made a mistake but rectified

I have used this company on several occasions and the product has always been as described.

There was one issue of a fairly pricey card that I had ordered not being in stock, despite saying it was on the website, followed by poor communication from the company. However, the problem was resolved by the owner and it appears to have been a genuine mistake.
