What a rubbish their "Free Air…
What a rubbish their "Free Air Conditioning Check at Kwik Fit".
Need an aircon diagnostic, as I had an issue with my aircon. It was regassed and compressor was kicking in, however no cold air coming. I booked their "free conditioning check".
In reality they only check if your car needs regasing. If there is a serious issue with your aircon, they can't even identify. Furthermore, they can't even say where to go for more diagnostics.

Got a couple nails in my tyre, straight to Kwikfit. No hassles, no appointment. Straight on the ramps and tyre replaced. In and out of there within 25 minutes. Excellent service.

Going the extra mile . . .
I hesitated to return to Kwik Fit West Norwood for my vehicle MOT, having previously experienced poor service. This time there was a hiccup, but the team went out of their way to put it right.
With the best will in the world, things occasionally go wrong. What matters is how those involved act to try and put things right. In this case, the team were initially unable to correct a small fault which I reported to them and which led to a failure. However, they found a work around and at least one staff member sacrificed part of his lunchbreak to put things right.

Genuinely helpful team
ACTUAL free tyre check at Kwik-Fit Surbiton! I thought I had a slow puncture on one tyre and that another the tread was low. I left my car there to be checked and upon pick-up was told that they were all still fine, they'd topped up my air pressures and even fixed a bit of plastic that had come off the roof interior. FOR FREE. When I do need tyres, I know where I'm going. Thank you team Surbiton!

Air con
Partner went to get his air con re gassed (thinking that was what it needed), they put gas in it but it still didn't work, so he took it back to be fixed but all they did was try to put more gas in? this is stupid as it clearly needed a diagnosis to why it wasn't working? he came back and it still didn't work. He should have been offered a re-fund.

Quick fit car air -con not working since re-gassed
Hi I took my car into quick fit Birkenhead to have the air-con re-gassed on 31st May 2026 since then the air-con has not worked with warm air passing through the air vents. I booked the car in to see why it was not working with quick fit Birkenhead on 6th July 11.30am the mechanic checked it and said that the car was 16 years old and the air-con had a leak and I had been lucky as due to the age of the car. He then asked me why I had took the car back to quick fit. I paid £70 approx for the air-con to be fixed i was expecting better service. They should have explained that they do not repair older vehicles to me before they took the job on.

DON'T rely on Kwikfit, they may let you down at the very last minute
Terrible experience, booked a vital 4 - tyre replacement with Kwikfit mobile and they called me the night before to say they were cancelling 'as they had someone off sick' - why call me 8pm the night before when I am SURE they knew earlier , if it were true. I had taken the day off for this vital appointment (tyres on legal limit) and with very little apology or care they offered me 2 days later -a Thursday when I am again at work, and my 700 mile car journey is the day after. They have really left me in a poor position and I won't be using them again - be warned, you don't necessarily have a booking with Kwikfit , don't rely on them , even if you have a high-value booking
