Mobile tyre replacement
At the second attempt it all went like clockwork but the first booking was cancelled on the morning by Quick Fit saying they'd overbooked...really! I needed the car for the next day so it was a mass panic trying to get a puncture sorted plus an extra £30 I could have done without spending.
Still, hats off to the tech that came the second time and did a quick and thorough job to get me on the road again.

Edit for update below
Original appointment missed, no useful communication on the day. Then wasted 60 minutes to rearrange, no guarantee of next day or when. No offer of compensation. Then Kwik fit called me back, left message as if nothing had happened or been re-booked. I then had to waste a further 30minutes to confirm the re-book. And despite me requesting 1st available appointment, I got an out of area end of day tech. He was very nice etc but a good 24 hours behind schedule. No offer of compensation unless I go begging- no thanks. Would I use them again, well it seems to confirm their old reputation, so there would have to be a compelling reason. I’ll be checking other suppliers 1st. It’s a competitive market. Kwik fit- you’ve let yourselves down customer care really quite poor, customer retention, non existent. Not surprised but disappointed.
Update: Kwik fit replied, once again despite them having access to my booking reference as part of this review they need ME and more of my time to update THEM on their poor performance. Seriously!
If it goes ok for you great, but if it doesn’t ……. All I’m saying is there are other providers and similar deals, with more accountability.

Great customer sevice
I always go to Kwik Fit in Forfar when I need new tyres or have a tyre problem. Yesterday I had a low pressure warning from one of my recently fitted tyres, pumped it up but it was low again this morning. I went straight to Kwik Fit and spoke to Steve who immediately checked it and found a screw in it. It was fixed straight away and I was able to get on with my day.
Steve and his team are great; efficient, pleasant, great customer service. I recommend them.

Puncture Repair
Visited the Pool/Redruth branch today with a puncture. Ben assisted me and was honest and upfront as to when he could fit in. The repair was completed in the timeframe I was given, it was of good quality and assisted me getting back on the road.

Puncture Repair
Visited Kwikfit Burton today having spoken to Matt at the store in the morning to see if they could do a puncture repair. Matt & his colleague were very welcoming & did the repair in no time at all. They were quick & efficient and provided excellent customer service. We will definitely recommend this store to others.

Beware if you have your aircon regassed…
Beware if you have your aircon regassed at KwikFit. I had mine done on 24 June at Harpenden and it failed a week later reverting to blowing warm air (the reason I’d gone there and waited 2 hours for the fix). On the plus side friendly staff in the garage and nice aircon in the waiting room. I contacted KF and was told in no uncertain terms that as the aircon was working for 10 minutes before I left the premises there was no comeback. So basically £150 in the bin for a couple of cool drives. I was told they do not check for leaks or any damage up front of the regas and that I needed to go elsewhere to get these diagnosed obviously at my own cost. I had no idea there was any problem like a leak and the car is only 4 years old. Basically once I’d paid and left they had no further interest!! Needless to say I have lost trust in them and
I will not be using them again for anything else ongoing.
