DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - LOADS OF OTHER REPUTABLE, GOOD COMPANIES OUT THERE! I am not the only one as returns are marked "Difficult"!
Sent wrong item, knowing it was unavailable. He was arrogant and rude. Clearly hates customers and not interested in customer service.
Will no doubt reply how everything was obvious and not his fault..... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. I think they believe they have never got it wrong!

Sorry you felt we have been arrogant and rude. We have not spoken verbally, only via email.
We can see that an item has been ordered in error and have provided all the details on how to return. A full refund will be issued for you when the item comes back. Despite sending us the following message we have not moved away from our returns policy, which seems to be the main issue....
'Please arrange collection at your own cost and also refund any outgoing postage you have charged me for delivery once you are in receipt of the item. I will hold back on my review at this stage'
We are comfortable with people leaving us feedback and sharing their experiences.
We are not perfect and sometimes things do go wrong. This is not one of those occasions though. Hopefully you manage to source the correct item.
**03/10/2024** As of today, we have not received anything back from you. Does this mean you managed to fit the item we sent you?
Helpful advice
Martin readily available to advise on purchases and answer queries. My only concern is that I was told two purchases would be amalgamated to save the delivery charge on the second, but I did not get the £7.95 refund promised

Excellent service
Wide range of products including a bulb that I was looking for - specifically a daylight bulb for crafting/painting etc. There was an issue with Royal Mail which led to some communication but they were really helpful and keen to sort it out. Highly recommend!

Be warned - High courier surcharge for Northern Ireland
Watch out if you order for Northern Ireland delivery. Larger items incur a courier charge of £7.95 + VAT, which is fine but what is not clear, in my opinion, is that if you live in Northern Ireland you will incur an additional courier charge of £20 on top of the larger item courier charge as the courier interestingly classes Northern Ireland as an 'export package'. To be fair to Martin at Lamps2udirect there is mention of a surcharge for NI in the T&C's but the extent of this (200%+) could be spelt out more clearly to avoid customers wasting their time.

As you have stated, we do advise customers to contact us before ordering oversized items from offshore isles so we can confirm delivery charges in advance.
We do not make profit on delivery charges. These are simply forwarded on to the customer.
The option to cancel is always offered and in this case a full refund was issued.
Easy web site, fast delivery.
Very easy web site to find exactly what I needed now that we’re replacing clockwork lighting with LED. Fast delivery and well packaged strip light bulb which had no chance of breakage in transit. First class, I’ll be back.

I’ve used lamps2udirect before. Their website is easy to navigate ( & I’m a wrinkly 😊). Prices are very competitive. I ordered 3 fluorescent lamps & unfortunately 1 was broken. I contacted customer service & spoke to Martin who was extremely apologetic, friendly & professional. He offered a replacement or refund. I requested a replacement & have received . Highly recommend this trustworthy company.

Ordered bulbs and then didnt hear from the company for 3 weeks , once i contacted paypal i got a refund , according to the company they were listing items they didnt have in stock, wasted my time.
