Great customer service and honest.
I’ve used this shop twice and had no problems till last time, third time. My UV lamps arrived broken. I called them immediately after receiving and noticed it was broken, to tell them about the issue and they requested pictures. I sent them pictures. The term was replaced and with me within two working days.
I highly recommend.

Slow to Arrive

Ordered some bulbs on 7th March but had to phone on 17th as I hadn't received any notification of a delivery date. The man was very helpful, said they were awaiting delivery of the bulbs from Europe and that it was unusual I hadn't received notification regarding the delay. They finally arrived on 22nd March, so 15 days after ordering. It would have been helpful if the website had stated Out Of Stock.

Good aftercare service

I didn't actually get the light I ordered, but I give them them five stars because when I contacted them and sent them a photo of the product as received they offered to refund me the purchase price without requiring me to even send the light back, and they did so. This was very generous and fair - thanks.

I may have been harsh

picture shows ceramci shaver. plug recieved cheap plastic chiness crap and took over two weeks for order.

OK i could have phoned and perhaps when looking at the unit its difficult to see. I dont remember a description for what material the unit is made from. I may have been harsh therfore I upgraded my review .

We are a little confused as to what product you thought you might be purchasing. Our code 6025 is a plastic travel adaptor and does not show any type of ceramic in the image. It is hard to see why you might have thought this might be ceramic?

Sadly, most electrical products are now made in China and we could have confirmed this if you had reached out before ordering.

Good sales, but zero after-sales

I've used this company a few times as they have a good range of products at good prices. But the experience from my last order shows they have a poor after-sales attitude so I will buy elsewhere in the future.

The problem was that two of the nine LED tubes they supplied were broken. I've no issue with that as these are delicate devices and breakages during shipping are to be expected. But they refused to refund or replace them because the breakage was reported a week after delivery and not within 48 hours. Now who has time to can fully unpack, check, and test each and every item within 48 hours - you leave this to when you install. I'm pretty sure they don't check when receiving from the OEM.

I don't care about the cost of 2 tubes, but would grumble if it was the entire shipment or higher value items.

As advised via email, in our delivery information, terms and conditions and order confirmations, all breakages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

As we explained via email - This is the timeframe we are given by couriers to report transit damage. After this period we are not able to make claims. This is why we highlight this in our order confirmations.

As a small business we have to be able to claim back costs from couriers for breakages in their possession. We do not get a lot of breakages considering the amount of fragile items we send, but we cannot afford to lose money on small orders for tubes.

I am sorry you are unhappy with this and that this order did not work out to your satisfaction, but this policy is in place to protect us a small business. If you have reached out within the requested period, which we quote in our delivery information, terms and conditions and order confirmations, we would have been able to refund or replace the damaged items for you. 7-10 days after receipt, unfortunately, is too long to for to put in a claim against the courier. We do check all deliveries from OEMs as they also have the same policies.

Most online sellers of fragile items, especially small businesses will also have this policy in place.

Great company

I ordered a set of bulbs for my living room. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful. Ive ordered before from this company and would definitely order again.

Got me hard to find bulbs

They were able to get me bulbs that I struggled to find. I messed up and gave them the wrong address but they were excellent and got them posted back to the right address. I am very pleased with them.

Buy with Confidence. Great service sorted problem out fast.

Brilliant service from start to delivery

Viewed their website and saw what I needed. Called their office and spoke to a gentleman called Martin. He gave me some very helpful advice so purchased my items an they were delivered the next day as he had promised. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended

I ordered 2 bulbs which were in stock…

I ordered 2 bulbs which were in stock and paid. Advised a week for delivery. Then nothing. No updates, no emails, no tracking number provided. I chased on day 6 and was told to call RM but without a tracking number how could I? It took me opening a dispute with paypal for any action. The moment I raised a dispute all of a sudden I get a tracking number and my goods arrive two days later. hmmm very dodgy. NINE DAYS to deliver products from stock is appalling especially when you advertise delivery is quicker than that. I ordered on the 15th and delivery was on the 24th. Only one bulb actually works of the two you sent. Awful experience.

Whilst we appreciate this is a fairly lengthy time, we do like to provide this information to customers before ordering, so you can decide whether or not you can hold on. Winter is the busiest time of year for us and we are a small business, so we do like to be realistic and not provide any expectations that cannot be fulfilled.

We received this order on the 16th of January and you confirmed receipt over the weekend, which puts us within the time frame we quote.

We provide tracking details on despatch of goods which comes from Royal Mail directly. It sounds like you were slightly confused, as you would not be able to contact Royal Mail for the tracking information - These details are emailed over and come directly from Royal Mail. However, having discussed this situation with our team, nobody can recall discussing this with you verbally.

Sorry we could not do more on this occasion to earn a better review.

I ordered 3 halogen floodlight bulbs…took 29 days to deliver

I ordered 3 halogen floodlight bulbs (240v 60w) on 11.12.25 and was in email contact, chasing them three times before the bulbs were finally delivered on 9.1.26; it took 29 days. They apparently didn’t have any stock and had to obtain it from somewhere abroad. One would expect a company to anticipate stock demand. A terrible service,

The Christmas period is a crazy time within the lighting industry and there can be delays, but this seems very excessive and we do like to keep customers informed and updated if we are expecting not to fulfil orders within our quoted period. Never again

My first order went to the wrong address, an hour away from my home, I tried to explain that my phone had been hacked and that I did not live there and they honestly couldn’t care less. Martin explained that as far as they are concerned, the items had been delivered ( to an empty house that is for sale, I later found out) and that my only option was to buy again. He was dismissive and abrupt. The package was left on the doorstep of an empty house as far as I could tell. Explained that I am disabled and unable to travel to the address where the package was delivered and he did not give a flying fig. Terrible customer service, takes forever for a reply to emails and then you get a dismissive call.

You placed an order and the lamps were delivered to the address requested. You would have been sent confirmation of the order immediately, which details the address you provided.

You placed the order a second time and the same address was added to the order details. We have no control over the addresses that are added to orders when being placed online. Any changes would have to be advised before the goods are despatched. This did not happen.

We received a few emails from you over the Christmas period when we were not in the office, but still replied to emails, even on Christmas Eve. There was no mention of a disability when speaking verbally on the phone.

I am sorry this has not been a great experience for you, but we would encourage you to check the address you provide before ordering or worse case, check your order confirmation. We are always able to change a delivery address on an order before the goods are sent. There is not much we can do after the items have been despatched or in this case delivered.
