Total disgrace of a company
Total disgrace of a company. Charging people over 8%. And communication is terrible. Glorified loan sharks
If could give minus starts i would .
If could give minus starts i would .. absolutely vulture of a company...I'm now homeless as had to sell due to the constant high increase ..it's affected my mental health to point I had to have crisis intervention then on program for a year . Shame in government for letting these people operate in own terms.
Having overpaid on my mortgage with…
Having overpaid on my mortgage with lump sums in tens of thousands, I asked today for interest only for 3 months and was refused. Most unhelpful, luckily not long left on mortgage but would definitely avoid this company.
Stay away at all costs
Incompetent merchants who in the paper work for an endowment taken out in 1997 put the wrong date of birth in for my wife. The year was out by an additional 10 years and resulted in a reduced payout though it should have been increased since the premiums paid were for an older age.
Impossible to contact
Impossible to contact. Endless wait on telephone. No email in this day and age. No response to messages through website.

Landmark more like landmine
Can't get through to this company..holding on for ages..automated answering system is the worst I have ever used..Took 10 minutes for them to tell me the office was closed..Rip off specialists..nothing constructive to say..absolute rubbish..don't touch them.
These are simply Loan sharks
These are simply Loan sharks, with a license to hold accounts- they are in business to serve them selves
Cee U Next Tuesday S !!!
Landmark setting own interest rates currently a large mark up on the current interest rates- not treating consumers fairly and unjustifiable rates being charged by a non active lender. Current rate being charged to customers is not fair or even competitive in comparison to other mortgages and rates.
No one is asking for a new mortgage but customers want to be fairly charged in the current climate not ripped off by another 2% with no justifiable reason for the excessive amounts.
Customers denied use of features included in original contracts.
Payment holidays being denied - borrow back feature removed.
Be an idea if landmark actually looked at each mortgage they hold on account as all terms and conditions of the original mortgage stand.
Very bad company
Just spent 40 minutes on phone and gave up in the end . They sent me a letter saying they have tried contacting me tho phone and letters .. which they haven’t!!! In a letter today they have said the postal service as sent the letters back ???? But I got this letter and another letter saying that my mortgage as gone up again .. 4 months on a row

Shocking company
Shocking company, rip your eyes out, rate going up monthly then have cheek to take 2 payments in same month. Customer service terrible, often just cut you off and any query accuses you of not being able to pay, never solve issues. GREEDY GREEDY COMPANY AVOID
Very limited ability to transact on…
Very limited ability to transact on line. You can view your balance but that is about it.
Very tedious process to speak to someone on the phone. Not overly pleasant when you can get through.
Even asking a question on line is met with 'Queries can take 10 days to process and will be responded to by post'.
Very 1990s experience.
Leave charges on your property 6 years after mortgage redemption
Be vigilant this bunch of cowboys ended up, taking on my NRAM mortgage, never informed me, charged me £250 admin charge to redeem my mortgage, then left a charge on my property for 6 years, despite writing to me to tell me that they had removed all charges.
Cannot be trusted!!!!
Absolutely awful !!
Absolutely awful !!! I don't think they have people on the end of the phone. I had the same trouble a couple of weeks ago, i was on the phone hours and hours then. Now I'm trying to get an updated redemption statement as they didn't take into consideration the direct debit that come out a couple of days before.
Mortgage paid off but still paying for it.
I tried to phone to see why they are still collecting the direct debit for my mortgage even though it has come to the end of its term. A long list of questions to get past the computer. Then you get put in a queue that you need to wait and wait. Eventually I gave up! Looking at their reviews I could have saved myself time!
The Worst Ever Company...Ever
Spent 80 minutes waiting to be connected on one call. Spent 50 minutes waiting to be connected on a follow up call.
Spent 50 minutes on hold during the second call.
I've yet to resolve the (very simple) question of getting a redemption statement.
I want to pay Landmark a large sum of money, but Landmark won't let me.
Landmark Mortgages Ltd, an incredibly inept organisation
Wish I could give this incredibly inept and fraudulent organisation a zero for their competence! Is the waiting time of almost an hour on the telephone or their various but unfulfilled promised to send our redemption statement for the past 3 weeks!
I checked out their complaints profile with the Financial Ombudsman but their customers never did get any joy because the Ombudsman for some unknown reason never really finds against them. The paltry £100 damages offered to the poor customer is not an incentive for Landmark to change.
We are on an incredibly high rate and got a mortgage over a month ago but Landmark isn’t responding!! I’m so indescribably angry!
No deals. Forced high Interest rates. Just profit orientated
Land Mark Mortgages have way above higher Interes rates then the Bank of England base rate guide. They will not offer any products, fixed rates or deals. In this current cost of living crisis there rates forced upon the home owner are so high. Higher then main high Street banks. Unfortunately with the affordability criteria there is no option but the pay the high rates.
Utter s**t show of a company their…
Utter s**t show of a company their rates are absolutely horrendous, never had these cowboys as my mortgage lender but after northern rock were bailed out this outfit ended up with my mortgage. Rates have steadily increased and are far higher than any other mainstream lender. The sooner the house is sold and I am rid of these the better.
