Check return policy closely before ordering. I ordered an expensive cashmere sweater, which was on sale. It fits kind of, but not well enough for the price. I got on line to schedule a return. 1st surprise was an $8.95 fee, but ok my bad for not checking that before ordering. 2nd surprise, FINAL SALE notice on the Happy Returns return page. I didn’t see that anywhere during my order process because I wouldn’t have ordered it. It may have been in the fine print somewhere—it should have been highlighted. I’ve bought many items from Lands’ End over the years, but this is my last one. No Happy Returns for me from Lands’ End.

I cannot believe Land End has evolved…

I cannot believe Land End has devolved into this. For years, we enjoyed their high-quality clothes.

My latest effort to order two winter coats for my children resulted in no confirmation email with an order number, more than three calls to Customer Service over two weeks to find out where my order is, but nobody could tell me. Something about will email you how you can track it but then no one emailed me. I’m truly at wits end. Unbelievable. Never will order from this company again.

Land's End used to have some class.

Land's End used to have some class, and it is fast fading. I ordered 5 men's button-downs over the 2025 summer, and the quality was very poor. Plaids and stripes were widely mismatched at the seams, and shirts were full of wrinkles coming out of the dryer. I've seen better quality at Wal-Mart.

Bought a tankini in light blue. It immediately started fading so that now that I’ve used it for six hours in the pool it is mostly beige. Why sell a swimsuit that can’t be used in a pool?

I lost my card and immediately called…

I lost my card and immediately called customer service. I was told there was a 10 min wait and I could hold it receive a call back. I chose to hold after 40 mins of holding I elected to get a call back. Two hours later I had not received a call back so I tried calling again, that was an hour and a half ago and still have not spoken to anyone. I WILL not be making any payments over what I purchased.

NO REFUND.

NO REFUND.
I sent my package back around 10 days ago. I called them as I have not had a notification of the return and a timeline of my refund. They could not trace it in their warehouse.
When you call the wait time is ludicrous there is an option where they will call you back. They don’t.
Pathetic customer service.

I have been a loyal customer of landsend over the years buying bedding, however l would not recommend them now.
Their stock levels appears to be inconsistent, and erratic leading to not posting items and NOT refunding items despite paying for them. I have emailed on four occasions requesting monies for items not received. To be given a variety of different reasons including l wasn’t billed for items not received, it’s very frustrating as l can see l have been billed. I think what makes it difficult l have used them for years and the customer service has been good .
They have clearly changed offering inferior services and products .

Lands' End has certainly gone downhill…

Lands' End has certainly gone downhill with respect to online shopping. Shipping is very slow and returns for credit are atrocious! It takes over a week using drop off Happy Return and 2-3 weeks if you ship it back to get a credit. Then they don't credit your account, but send these email refund cards with numbers and PINs for each return. It's impossible to keep up with what's available on what "card". So you have to go through each one when you make a purchase. It's terribly frustrating. Even ordering a different size of the exact same item requires this effort. As soon as I use my credits, no more Lands' End for me. It's too bad because I love the quality and the sale prices for many items which is why I give them 2 stars instead of 1.

Absolute Bait and Switch in logo fees.

After paying for custom logo and set up fees, their extremely deceptive website showed all products that I ordered were good. I then received an email stating the logo didn’t fit on the item ordered, and the following conversation was to sell a redesign to make it fit. Rejecting the redesign, I lost the savings code by falling under the threshold. Again, the website showed all products worked with the logo. Won’t be back, won’t recommend.

Lied about "fast shipping"

I paid extra for fast shipping and Lands' End told me my order would arrive between October 13 and 15. However on October 13 my order was still "processing" so there's no way it could've gotten to me on the same day. If Lands' End had no intention of even trying to get my order to me on October 13 then why did they tell me it was possible? For which I paid extra for fast shipping? They should've just told me my order would arrive on the 15 instead of pretending it might arrive earlier. I could have saved the extra cost for the "fast" shipping. Feels like bait and switch.

$9 Return fee: I won’t be back

(Online) I’m sure it’s all great if everything fits. If not, it’s $9 to try it on. Too rich for my blood. I won’t be back. Maybe if I find myself in Maine and I can try something on for free. But I have no reason to travel to Maine for the foreseeable.

I had not ordered from Lands End in a…

I had not ordered from Lands End in a couple of years, so was not aware of changes to their return policy. My fault for not reading the fine print and assuming it was the same easy return policy as before. Now I'm stuck with a poorly fitting shirt that I'd like to exchange but will cost me enough in return fees that it's not worth the hassle. Since there seems to be some sizing inconsistencies and decreased product quality, I'll just skip LandsEnd in the future.

Ordered a sweater online which pilled terribly in a week. Too many hoops to jump through to return it then was sent to a site that asked all of my charge card info. Seemed like a scam to me so I am now stuck with a crappy sweater from Lands End.

Crap items from TAIWAN.

I USED to love Lands End...quality clothes even though very expensive. Just ordered some Christmas gifts because I am an early shopper. Ordered 2 throws, some shirts and some socks (since it is one of the places that I can get socks that fit size 16 feet!!!). The items they sent were in plastic bags with MADE IN TAIWAN plastered on them with oriental characters. No mention of Lands End on anything, might as well have ordered from TEMU. I went on Google and found out they actually got sued for claiming items they sell are made in the USA when they are actually from CHINA/TAIWAN/ETC. (LANDS END SETTLED THE LAWSUIT) NOTHING I got was made in the USA. It is crap. Should be sold in the Dollar Store. I don't give my family crap for Christmas. It is ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL GOING BACK. (at MYYYY expense!!!!!!!!) Think I will EVER purchase anything from these losers again??? NOPE.

Not the same with weight Supima Cotton

I ordered my usual supima cotton tshirts that I order every year . They just arrived and are so much thinner than last years . I’m so disappointed.
Also I ordered on Sept 3 and it showed shipped to arrive on Sept 8-11. Sept 11 and no tshirts . I chatted with a chat employee and they stated they hadn’t shipped even though it showed shipped and due to arrive Sept 8-11. Chat person blamed over ordering over the Labor Day weekend . Strangely enough that same day after the chat the items actually shipped . Poor quality and outright incorrect shipping information. I will unfortunately no longer use LE in the future .

Land's End did Right by Me

Despite seeing all of these negative Trustpilot reviews, I trusted the long standing brand name. I placed two separate orders over 1 week and returned two items due to fit with their easy return process of no box / no label drop off at a UPS store. They refunded my return within 24 hours. The products I kept met my expectations 100%. No complaints, Land's End did right by me.

I ordered just short of 300.00 in…

I ordered just short of 300.00 in merchandise. I ended up having to return it for a different size. No fault of the company.
This is where there customer service policy failed in an extreme way. I had to use a third party credit card gift card company once it was issued. Or I could have paid 9.00 dollars for it to be credited back to my debit card, I said no I am just getting different sizes. I did decide on another rain coat. Which was less than 4.00 cheaper. I asked if they could just credit it back to my card. They said they would charge me the 9 dollars to get the 4 dollars back.
So they’re just keep my money on a lands end gift card. I won’t risk ordering anything from them again. This has been entirely on line. There is no actual card I’ve only had emailed.
That is fine they can steal the money from me. I just won’t be able to order anything from them again. Knowing there going to do there best not to return what’s owed to me
