I purchased a used item . I was given a fair description of the item before buying . The other used cameras were slightly more expensive from different shops.
When the item arrived is was supplied with spare batteries which was a plus. The camera has some wear. It was "road tested" and the picture quality was very pleasing . It is now a matter of using to get the true value of the item.

Whilst having a 'trawl' on the LCE website for used Olympus film cameras I spotted and very clean and recently serviced OM-1. A call to the Nottingham branch ensued and after a very pleasant phone call with Carl the manager (we waxed lyrical about film photography and the resurgence and demand for cameras and film in general) I duly purchased the camera. I'm glad I did. It is better than expected, arrived in a very short time - next day delivery and was well packaged. Will definitely purchase from LCE again and highly recommend. As an aside, please consider using a real shop to purchase from, not just through online warehouses that can't offer any expertise or experience. Otherwise shops like LCE will disappear completely and we're then left with purchasing by guesswork.
