The whole process of planning and ordering our shed was very easy and Linda at Badshot Lea was very helpful. The shed itself was built and installed by a firm called Phoenix Garden Buildings who are based in Leeds, and they too were efficient and pleasant to deal with. Our new shed is of very good quality. If you need something more robust than what you'll find in DIY stores, but don't want to spend tens of thousands on an oak framed building, I would definitely recommend you look at 1st Choice/Phoenix.

The shed/workshop I purchased was of a high quality, superior to many competitive products I have seen. Some sheds on the market are very flimsy, with weak floors in particular. I took advantage of the upgrade options to provide an even sturdier floor and to insulate the building. I selected the Pro-Base foundation option and 1st Choice recommended an installer (Phil Brown Landscapes) who did a good job, and I used his services for a new patio also.

We are delighted with our Leisurebuildings Garden Workshop/Shed. It is well-designed and strongly-constructed to our size requirements, with windows and doors placed as we wanted. We like the thoughtful overhangs which keep the rain off the walls and doors. Although already pressure-treated, we painted it externally with waterproofing preservative as recommended and it still looks like new despite months of unprecedented rain. We did have to wait a while for it to be installed on a timber base-frame in an area we had levelled in preparation. This was easy for us to do with garden tools. We think that it enhances our garden and we are already thinking about having another of one to provide us with additional storage.

We found the whole process (including using the lovely guy who paints the garden rooms on a regular basis) a stress free time. The most amazing sight was how small the garden room was when delivered and indeed to watch what looked like a huge jigsaw being done. The only issue we had a little while afterwards was addressed and sorted very quickly. In all excellent feel to the whole experience.

We visited your display site at Woking whilst we were in the area and were very impressed by the range and quality of buildings on display. I had already decided what sort of potting shed I wanted to purchase, subject to liking what we saw on display. We received really useful advice from your staff on site and ordered the shed by phone/email a short time later. All stages of the buying process were carefully explained and everything went according to plan. My husband had some discussions about the exact specifications required for the base and he was very happy with the advice he received. The shed was delivered as promised by two very cheerful young men (despite it being a very hot summer day). They erected the shed very efficiently and quickly. The quality is top notch, very sturdy with a strong door and opening windows. I am absolutely delighted with it. I know it's the men who are supposed to like their sheds but I am one very happy 'woman with a shed'!! It makes me smile every time I go inside.

We ordered a Trentan Bagshot Log Cabin from 1st Choice Leisure Buildings after visiting a number of sites of other companies. 1st Choice had, by far, the best customer service as regards information, help and advice as well as a superior product. The cabin was delivered on the day agreed by a very careful and competent driver who craned it over our garden wall as the lorry was too big to get through the gates. Ian and his team carried all the individual logs the 100 metres down the garden then proceeded to erect the building. We couldn't believe how well it went together, with none of the "fettling" that was required to get our old summer house to fit together. We had ordered extra windows so these apertures had to be cut out on site, which was no problem for Ian and crew. By mid afternoon the building was finished and looking really good. The only problem was that a handle was missing for one of the extra windows. An email was sent to the supplying company and seven days later a new handle arrived at our home by post direct from the manufacturers - in Estonia ! You can't beat that for customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending 1st Choice Leisure Buildings.

I'm very pleased with my new shed/workshop, it's very solid and well constructed. It looks extremely nice and I've received lots of very good comments about the quality of the building and the Onduline roof. I had the Southampton, apex building with 20 mm cladding, 20 mm floor and double doors. I would say it's extremely sturdy and should last for many years. The air vents and roof overhang above the doors is a feature I particularly like. My building is 10 x 8 and was purchased primarily for storage and the gardening equipment. Some of this is heavy, but the floor is very sound and has not shown any signs of bending or twisting. The windows are far better than those in previous buildings that I've purchased and the they contain 3 mm toughened glass. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another if the need arises in future. My only criticism would be that I wish I had had the choice to chose between an Onduline roof and an EPDM roof covering at the time of purchase. This option was available on sheds with a pent roof only.

Avoid at all costs, spend your cash somewhere else, told one thing at shop when ordering, got totally different when put in to practice. Ordered new shed with free standing Base, the lack of information was outstanding, work was all sub contracted. When the Base was built it was assumed by the contractor that it should be attached to the decking with no support legs, total amateur job. We had to remove and sort out ourselves at extra cost to us as contractor was not willing to rectify until Monday, bit late as shed people were turning up at 06.30 Monday morning and they would have either put up the shed on the poorly constructed Base or we would have to send them away until Base was rectified, which would have us extra in penalties. As it turned out we did not need to worry as the shed people turned up without telling us and could not erect the shed as they did not have all the pieces required, schoolboy error, finally erected shed on the Wednesday. During all this first choice were of no help and don't even respond to you. When you look at there website do not believe what you see, as they seem to post only the good reviews, I sent a very poor feedback review over two weeks ago and it has not been published on there site, makes you also wonder if all the good reviews are genuine. IN CONCLUSION AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS.in response to your answer it has taken you over to weeks to respond and yes he did tell us he would come back Monday, really drills going at 06.30 in a morning, neighbours would have loved that, what he should have done is phoned if he wasn`t sure then there would have not been a problem so yes we had to sort it ourselves else it would have cost us extra in your penalty clause for failed delivery, and we have still not heard from him about refunding the extra £13 we had to fork out to rectify his blunder which is your responsibility to deal with, guess you have done nothing about that either. As for you posting every review don't make me laugh, my review only got posted on your website after I suggested that you pick and choose which reviews you post.

Very helpful team at 1st Choice Leisure Buildings, both at the show site and on the telephone. All our questions regarding dimensions of the required base and our requested delivery date of the building were answered politely and the expected delivery and erection were carried out expertly and at the agreed time. After a lot of online research and numerous site visits, I settled on 1st Leisure buildings for my potting shed and am very glad I did. The ordering and delivery proved to be hassle free, I had to change the delivery date and this was drama free. The shed is fantastic, far superior in build and construction to the majority of the competition. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
