At the age of 38 didn't expect to suffer back pain that would leave me flat on the floor not being able to stand.

I have been a patient of both Poole Hospital and the Life Balance practice due to back pain. I've found the practitioners at Life Balance to be incredibly professional, knowledgeable and in my case were able to find the cause of my back pain and provide care to resolve without painkillers.

Life Balance has changed my life. I can’t praise Joshua enough. He is truly amazing. Treatments have been first class, in particular seeing my x-ray at my initial appointment made the whole process real. Every series of adjustments has led to progress and everything carried out in friendly and professional setting. Louise explains everything in just the right way to help to understand how to maintain the benefits. Strongly recommend having an initial consultation to see what this great team can come up with, plus they have super flexible hours too.

Going to Life Balance was the best decision I could of made.
When I first started I could barely walk through the door and now I am well on my way to a full recovery.
The Life Balance team are amazing their open and friendly environment makes you feel completely at ease and always very welcome, when you are in pain this is so important as it all helps towards your recovery.
Dr Smith is great as well as being extremely professional he is also very caring and patient he is not just interested in your back pain but in your overall well being and long term health and happiness. He explains everything to you, so you understand what is happening and what you can do to help yourself.
I would highly recommend Life Balance they are not after a quick fix but a long term solution.

What a relief! An excellent team that give the best service and treatment, in a chiropractor practice. I’ve received a full report and diagnosis of treatment, of which has been excellent by the doctor. You are put very much at ease by the reception staff when you arrive, and time just to relax until the doctor is ready. The doctor is very professional and considerate. I feel in excellent hands and although I’ve only had a few weeks treatment, I can feel the difference already.

The team at life balance are just amazing! The reception staff are so welcoming and helpful and the chiropractors are very knowledgable and great at what they do. My full plan was explained to me and updates are given on my progress at every appointment. I’ve noticed a great difference to my back in a short period of time and look forward to continuing my treatments at life balance!

What a fantastic team! A great service that I would highly recommend. From the friendly greetings at Reception to the fantastic care, nothing is too much trouble and it is a pleasure to attend appointments. Having read others' reviews, there is little I can say to enhance the obvious benefits the team at Life Balance bring.
Like many I shuffled in for my first appointment in severe pain, unable to function, sleep, or work. Not a quick fix given the years of abuse my back has suffered, but I wanted a lasting cure not yet more painkillers or surgery.
Now, pain free with full movement and able to work, dive, sail, travel, compete admirably with my Sons, even roller coasters~Not recommended by Dr Smith :}.

Friendly and professional.
X-rays were taken and fully explained , then a treatment plan was put together. After only three weeks of treatment I have noticed an improvement in my mobility and day to day comfort.

I have suffered with multiple chronic health conditions for all of my adult life and have tried a wide variety of holistic therapies over the years but chiropractic has bar far shone about the rest!
