You only got 1 star as no lower rating is possible
I would love to know when minimum wage is £10.42 an hour how can a parking space be worth £60 an hour?
and giving out CCJ's for a minor parking infringement is in effect punishing people for 6 years
Thanks for sending out all the letters to my old address, my car hasn't been registered there for over a year but somehow you managed to get it all wrong
To sum up a stressfull company to deal with tiny signs and will use any old address cheers

park at local parking. Dont use this crap car park

I parked for 4 hours and paid £2 at The Railway pul car parking in Crawley. The sign states 50p for 1hr then £3 all day

I came back to find parking fine and disputed explaining that I paid for time allocated. They dont care and used eh popla adjudcated service which is uselsss and only backs them.

Use council parking in future as they at least have clear signs, are undetstanding and have reasonable fines.

I learnt that lesson. What a nasty company

NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Not to trust this company, There employee has watched me pay at pay station, then watch me put the parking ticket in my car. Once I return the same employee is there with a sticker on my vehicle, he then said "you cant park here", with no reason why?.
If people cant park there at least have signage or trusted employee to warn the public! MONEY GRABBERS

You need to watch this crew

You need to watch this crew! Parked at Warwick Hospital, for the third time. I knew it was ANPR and I’m not stupid; I know how they work. Returned to my car, entered reg no. and the machine message asked ME how long I’d been parked! I had no idea; it’s ANPR; THEY work out how long you’ve been there, surely. I took a guess paid and left. Then letter about a charge for not paying for the time I’d been there. With photographs. Is this a scam? Ask the motorist to say how long they’ve been there, catch them out and then issue a charge?
I wrote to POPLA, the owner of LPS, the CEO of the hospital and one of her side kicks.
Eventually a barely literate response from POPLA. Charge cancelled. No way was I going to pay, but the lengths you have to go to……

Parked at a car park for my daughter's…

Parked at a car park for my daughter's hockey club teas after the match. It was pitch dark and i could not see any signs that you had to pay for parking. LPS had sophisticated cameras but no lights in the car park or florescent signs. I wonder why. Clearly they want to entrap by not making it clear that there is a charge. Also, the level of fine is disproportionate to any offence, £100 for half an hour parking in the pitch dark. Keep away from their car parks. I understand they are being investigated by many in the national press.

1st September 2022

1st September 2022. Took grandchildren to Earlswood Lakes Craft Centre, Solihull for ice cream. Parked in disabled Bay as I have Blue Badge for mobility problem. Husband misunderstood parking notice and thought it was free for disabled- easy mistake at 83. I am very slow exiting car and walk with aid of stick. We walked slowly to ice cream vendor but children decided not to buy as they had had a substantial breakfast. Slow walk back to car and time needed for me to get back in. Total time parked 23 minutes. LPS sent parking fine saying we had not entered a parking code supplied by vendors and requested a receipt as proof of purchase of ice cream. Will not accept that as no purchase made we have no receipt nor not having purchased anything a parking code was not offered or displayed. Keep sending demand letters. Daily Mail have taken this on so in their hands now.Surely discrimination under the Equalities Act.

The online payment system had…

The online payment system had incorrectly got the date wrong on the day I parked and had me in the system for parking in the year 1979. As a result, I was issued a fine, so I provided proof that I had paid for parking at that time and that it was a system error and I couldn’t have possibly paid online for parking in the year 1979 as the internet hadn’t even been invented yet. The online payment system company confirmed it was an error and apologised, providing a corrected receipt for the correct date and year but Car Park Securities refuse to accept it and are still trying to take me to court for an unpaid fine which I was never liable to pay in the first place. Have felt bullied by them since the first correspondence, but generally they ignore all calls and emails but are happy to flood your letterbox with red letters.

I agree with other reviewers

I have to concur with other reviews left from my local Warwickshire area, my sister had a job interview at Warwick Hospital, she knew that parking was almost impossible there and very expensive so she asked me to drop her off at the main entrance next to the drop off point and collect her later as she had a job interview at the Hospital.
I received a PCN fine of £85 through the post about 10 days later, it showed a picture of my car entering the main entrance of the hospital at 1.19pm and a picture of my car leaving at 2.53pm, rather conveniently not showing pictures of my car leaving just after 1.19pm and arriving just before 2.53pm, I never even went into the car park, I never left the car, I just dropped her off and left, picked her up later and left. An investigation into this company needs to be launched pronto, after ringing them up, no apology was given and I await an appeal, apparently they have one camera overlooking the main entrance (it is not even pointed at the entrance and exit barriers for the payable car park), rant over.

I will update this review after I receive the result of the appeal, tbc .......................

*UPDATE*

They dropped the case against me, I received nothing in terms of an explanation or an apology, real scummy business practices all the way through, absolute disgrace

The BPA need to dissolve these back street bandits

This Company take top spot for being the most pathetic set up of laughable fools that I have ever had the misfortune to know exist.
I feel embarrassed for anyone who works or owns this shameful firm. I just hope none of them have children, the world could do with less illogical ignorance.

Disgusting company working just inside…

Disgusting company working just inside the law and preying on people who have genuine need. Poor signage and shady practices. Don’t bother appealing as to do so will land you with an inflated fine. £100.00 for 30 minutes outside a care home.

Disgusting company wouldn’t give it one star. Parked in Bury paid online. They said I had paid for a week later didn’t even think that is possible as how can they even know a space is going to be available. It’s a genuine mistake human error they can clearly see I did not enter there car park a week later. I appealed even went to a independent appeal. Still saying I have to pay £60 for a £1.70 parking ticket that I DID Pay for. 😡

Parked at The Bull Hotel Poult-le-Flyde…

Parked at The Bull Hotel Poult-le-Flyde . Put disability badge on display thinking that we would be fine but no. You must pay £1 at the pay meter & get it refunded in the hotel after purchasing a breakfast . Hotel had no sympathy & LPS will only deal with complaints via email or letter. This was the end of a lovely weekend away for my partner to chill & relax after being diagnosed terminally ill with cancer. If LPS can get away with this what else will they do . If you pay you can't appeal , if you appeal my past experience was I will get the bailiffs knocking on my door asking for £400 . These parking companies are getting away with robbery & this is for me is worse when they are doing it to the most vulnerable in society. Something needs to be done about these disgusting parking companies who hide behind the Internet. It's very funny that if you have difficulty paying they will speak to you then .

Fraudulent practices at Stratford-upon-Avon hospital?

As a volunteer driver for a local charity I recently used the drop off area at Stratford upon Avon hospital twice in the same morning when driving a patient to and from the hospital for a 2 hour appointment. When I dropped the patient off at 8:30am the number plate cameras were clearly working correctly on the entrance and exit because that visit hasn't resulted in a fine.
I returned at 11:15am to collect the patent who had exited the hospital and was waiting for me by the drop off area, I delivered the patient to their home in Chipping Campden by 11:45am. I have now received a parking charge notice and a fine of £85. The first photo on the document correctly shows my car entering the hospital site at 11:14am, the second photo mysteriously shows my car exiting the site at 12:16pm by which time I had dropped the patient off and completed my journey. Local Parking Services have either advanced the time clock on the exit lane camera by one hour following my first visit at 8:30am or doctored the image.
From reading other reviews I am now going to have quite a battle to prove my innocence.

Success! I phoned Stratford Hospital and asked if I could view their cctv for that morning. I was put through to the Hospital Trust security manager who said that he would have the PCN cancelled immediately. What a relief but without the cctv I couldn't refer the fake photo to the police.

Received a Parking Charge Notice

Received a Parking Charge Notice. I knew that I had paid so I contacted them but all the onus was on me to prove that I had. In the end they cancelled the charge after I managed to get evidence, but no apology or acknowledgment of the trouble I had had to go to.

I had a friend who worked for these and I know from experience what they are like. They are vultures they would pray on people going to buy a ticket and slap them with a pcn, even if they went off site to get money for the parking. Non of their machines were contact less and machines were always getting coins stuck which rendered them useless. No receipts so no proof they know exactly what they are doing. Companies like this need to be closed down as they aint following any rules. They even made my friend stand out in the rain and all weather's without offering somewhere to keep warm. He was told to sit in a KFC to keep warm as the wouldn't pay for a cabin. They treated this vulnerable guy like rubbish and in the end my friend left as they tried to get rid of him.

Beware of this company
