Appaling and disgusting behaviour

Appaling and disgusting behaviour. It was one of our heaviest downpours of rain. I parked in the car park affiliated (but not apparently) to the restaurant I was visiting and ran in, getting soaked (it really was bad), came out a couple of hours later to a PCN. Shocked. went back in and questioned it, they said yes you have to pay £1 at the pay and display, which you get back off your meal.
The restaurant refused to do anything about it. I went back out and looked for the P&D machine, there was a big silver people carrier parked in front of it!! And no signage to say P&D.
Rang LPS - no reply.
Emailed LPS - no reply
Sadly I dont have the energy to fight these people, and I ended up paying the 'reduced' fee of £60.

It was a very sad day for me and my dinner companions, and this made it worse but is a sign of the corruption right under our noses.
LPS is not a business - this is living off the misery of fellow human beings.

It is cowardice that you will not engage in conversation when challenged, even politely.

SHAME ON YOU!!! and I also pray for you, as someone must have treated you really badly for you to defer that treatment onto others. (Pretty desperate to go out in the heavy rain to put a PCN on my car)

Please remember, however, that you always have a choice, you made a bad one today. I made a bad one for using your car park.

I choose to rectify my bad choice by never using your facilities again.

You however, choose to stay with your bad decision.

Make sure you don’t get caught out by these thieves people!!

I will never use LPS parking facilities ever again, I’d rather walk in the rain than give any money to these crooks, £100 fine for a few minutes… how can you justify that price?? It is sickening you are allowed to get away with charging that much.. not even the council charges that much, and you wonder why people ignore your letters full of scaremongering, I’m making sure that I never use another private parking facility ever again as they are all thieves and crooks with the amount of research I’ve been doing on them, so many people getting scammed by these low lives it actually quite sad!!! Why can’t you make it affordable by charging £30 and reduce it if you pay before 14 days, people would most likely take you more serious!

Scum of the earth.

Scum of the earth.
Stealing people's hard earned money with astronomical fines for overstaying your parking tickets.
£100 for overstaying 40 minutes!
Try and dispute it and no one will get back to you.
This company advertises 'ethical and non- confrontational solutions' (!!!) for private car park owners- in other countries than UK they would call such a practice Mafia-like.

LPS parking (diservices)

LPS parking (diservices), should actually be investigated.
If you are endlessly driving round for a space , and then give up and leave they slap you with a £60 fine.
All they need to do is take a photo of you entering and leaving the car park apparently.
If you try to call them, forget it no one answers, if you try to email them no one answers.
They block you on Facebook.
They rely on most people giving up and paying the fine.

How about a refund for all the years all of us have overpaid for parking, for fear of company's like you ?
,Use the car park in Bridgefoot, its free for one hour and you only pay for the time you use.
Avoid LPS carparks at all costs !!!!
Parasites!
There's no option's to give zero stars or I would.

I tried to park in the LPS car park in…

I tried to park in the LPS car park in Henley in Arden. The ticket machine would not accept my registration number so I tried a second machine on site but had the same problem. I left the car park after a few minutes and parked in the High Street. I received a parking charge notice which contained photos of my car entering and leaving the car park together with date and times. The exit photo showed that I had been in the car park for 1 hour 6 minutes. 6 minutes would have been the approx time I was in the car park and although I wrote to LPS they replied that their machines were working correctly on that day. Because I could not prove that I left the car park after a few minutes I had to pay the £60

Awful company

Awful company. They sent me a pcn and when I appealed they said that I was still liable despite explaining that I am motability impaired and cannot wander around the site looking for the parking signage which they say is situated around the site. I did not see one clear and readable sign. I believe that these cowboys do all they can to max out the possibility of catching you out. No compassion or understanding. Say if you take it to the independent decision service you will have to pay the £100 if found against you. This is a threat that should not be allowed this is probably done as their tickets would be throw out.

Parking at Warwick Hospital

Parking at Warwick Hospital, tried to pay with contactless card. Machine bleeped when card presented as per instructions. No offer of receipt. Left machine but suspicious of payment returned to see screen offering receipt but before I could tap "yes" screen reverted to default "Next Customer"

Unsure, I watched my credit card account and after 3 days when no charge appeared, I e-mailed the company asking if the fee was paid. Only reply was a telephone number for enquiries. Tried it but gave up after 10minutes+ listening to a moronic repetitive sales spiel trying to sell parking services.
PCN arrived in post next day.
Tried telephoning next day, same result as before.

Appealed to them via e-mail explaining details. Apeal was rejected.
Reason "Failure to Pay for the Duration of Stay"

10 Years ago I would have fought them but at 82 I don't want the hassle so I gave up and paid the PCN fine.

Like most of these parasitic companies they make it virtually imposible to communicate and if you do make contact, it is like talking to a tree stump!

BTW: The company 'thinking' is reflected in the fact that they play a continual sales patter trying to sell parking services to people who are calling to question parking fines! Not likely to meet with much success.

Parked in Gregory's Hall Car Park in…

Parked in Gregory's Hall Car Park in Stratford upon Avon. Machine was not recognising fingers to input vehicle reg. Tried to ring to tell them - No answer, provided evidence and went to appeal, and was refused. Note to oneself and to anyone else out there reading this. DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR WHERE you see an LPS SIGN.

This is straight off their web site - they were definitely NOT what they say here! they were totally unapproachable and unhelpful! and 'Everyone is just a phone call away - CLEARLY NOT!'

With Richard's experience as its foundation, Local Parking Security has flourished and now owns and operates in many car parks across the UK, helping many towns and businesses take control of their parking management strategy.

Friendly and approachable
Based in Warwickshire, Local Parking Security has grown into a business that employs over 100 people - but Richard has been determined to keep LPS an approachable, agreeable organisation, and employs many of his own family members to ensure there is always a friendly atmosphere for customers and clients.

Richard feels that the hands on approach of the directors and department managers give the clients a personal touch not always available with some large companies. Everyone is always just a phone call away so you know you can speak directly to the right contact whenever you need to.

Poor signage and levels not clearly marked, fancy putting the level numbers around the corner away from the lift.
Numbers are normally painted on the columns so as you get out of your car you can see what level.

Dreadful company and parking…

Dreadful company and parking facilities! Unclear signage and facilities, unhelpful staff with a terrible attitude and inconsistent approach to parking operations. If I could give this zero stars I would! Will not be using ever again and will be warning friends and family not to use either. It's a disgrace, but I suppose that should be obvious as one else has reviewed this company well

Money Grabbers

Parked in an Anpr car park in Plymouth in August 2019, payment machine was not working and had a notice on it to go to the premier inn who shared the carpark to make payment, advised by person behind counter at premier inn that the entire payment system had crashed a they could not take payment, tried to call number on sign in carpark but no one answered.Took photo of faulty payment machine and instructions to pay at premier inn. Recieved a PCN via post and imediatley appealed it. Was advised by Local parking security that no fault was found with the payment machine and that my appeal had been rejected. Now having to appeal via Poplar. My advice is don't park in carpark run by these bandits if you can help it. I have looked on line and they are renowned for this type of behaviour.

Parked within the free time period but was charged

I dropped my mother off at Leamington Rehab Hospital and returned to collect her an hour later, but Local Parking Security charged me for the full hour. I lost the appeal because I couldn't prove I was elsewhere during my first arrival and when I left after picking her up. There are two entrances/exits to the rehab hospital which is why, I suspect, LPS didn't have all 4 times I passed through the gates on camera. They must be aware of this issue though - I can't believe I'm the only one it has happened to!
