You’ve recently discontinued your bouncy and tender product which was a great product and the alternative flex curl bounce is so pooor in comparison. It leaves the curls feeling brittle and dry. If so... See more

Collagen Moisture filler
This new formula to the L’Oréal Collagen Moisture Filler is trash! The scent is horrible and it simply does not feel the same.
If it’s not broken, why fix it?
Who ever agreed to this change, needs to be reevaluated. Terrible !
Just ok
Ok products at a fair price if you buy them on sale, I wouldnt pay full price
New L’Oreal Excellence crème triple…DO NOT USE NEW FORMULA IT IS USELESS!
New L’Oreal Excellence crème triple care colour.
Why have they changed the formula to non-drip! Have used this for years but new formula makes it difficult to apply as so thick. The bottle stays indented where I have to grip hard and squeeze formula out.
I even stirred it beforehand and tried cutting the bottle tip to make it wider. Eventually had to add some liquid developer from another bottle to thin the liquid down.
They have completely ruined this product!
Do NOT use this company
Do NOT use this company! Customer service is NONE existent! I had a severe adverse reaction to their Revitalift laser night cream. My skin felt like it had suffered a chemical burn. Intense pain , my eyelids were swollen and my face felt stretched and scorched. I couldn't tolerate anything to try and soothe it. Hot pins being stabbed into your face is one way to describe it.
I sent photos to the customer services email and asked for a response. I've had acknowledgement that the emails have been received and standard assurance that someone from the team will be in touch. Its now 11 days later , 7 more emails and phone calls to a number where you just get cut off and a curt message saying lines are busy please try again.
Absolutely terrible experience.
I would not recommend
Avoid. Luxury prices but zero care for customer
We purchased 3 luxury items as a Christmas presents totalling £133 at Kiehls online (sub brand of L'Oreals). We specifically spent over £100 to hit the spend target to receive 5 additional promotional items.
The order was made on the 8th Dec and only 1 of the 8 items was delivered on the 13th Dec. No headsup was provided that items in the order would be out of stock or missing. No alternative provided and no refund proposed.
It was left to myself to contact Kiehls and alert them that they failed to meet UK law by delivering or refunding missing items. Upon calling the customer service I was given a variety of reasons: storm damage, items went missing in the post and volume was too high from Black Friday....anything potentially, but no reason for not alerting me inadvance.
When asking for escalation I was told customer service don't have management, no way to escalate and no way to contact any department to resolve the issue. I was told that 2 missing items would be refunded but none of the promotional items. I did not want 1 item on its on, we purchased the 3 to hit the promotion. Thus under UK law an order has not been fulfilled.
The whole order should be refunded or fully delivered upon.
Finally I emailed a complaint after the frustrating brick wall call, which was then picked up by the same "Erik" that I spoke to on the call. His response on the email was the same as the telephone call, we're not doing anything helpful but accept it was a bad experience. Come back again next time...
This huge waste of time going in circles, very disappointing Christmas now for someone has put a regular inshop customer off using what I thought was a luxury brand with luxury service.
It occurred on: 08/12/2024
This meant that it was stessful and wasted time going in circles. Disappointed Christmas present now, one eight of the expected items. You pay higher prices for luxury brands and don't expect to be promoted a deal, then told on delivery date that 93% of items won't be delivered. No expectation management to allow me to pre-plan for this.
As requested I would simply like the whole order refunded. One item is not sufficient as a Christmas present, if I had known this I would have ordered elsewhere. I don't want one out of eight items. I purchased all of this as one bulk order to hit the promotion.
** Update: escalated to L'Oreal on 13/12/2024 (now: 17/12/2024). No response just an automated acknowledgement. Doesn't seem like either Kiehls or L'Oreal care about their customers. ***
L’Oreal Excellence Crème NO LONGER WORKS
For years and years I’ve happily used L’Oréal Excellence Crème No 4 to cover my grey roots on a monthly basis. But since they changed to a new formula with Hyaluronic Acid the colour is different; instead of dark brown it is a chestnut colour and the coverage is very poor - lots of grey showing through - even though I left it on for a full hour.
I told L’Oreal about my experience but I got no satisfactory answer as to why there are these completely different results. Yes the packaging has changed and the shade is now called Brown instead of the usual Natural Dark Brown but L’Oreal says the shade is the same. Well it isn’t. I’ve been a very loyal customer for years but I’ve tried this new formula twice and both times the result has been worse than useless. L’Oreal won’t accept the product has changed, not just the packaging, so I’ve no choice but to switch to a different brand.
My daughters won’t buy anymore products…
My daughters won’t buy anymore products from this company. Eva Longoria being the face !!!! No more sorry won’t support any democrats at all !!!!!
My hair turned purple and grey
I have been using L'oreal Aged Perfect excellence cream for a number of years. I noticed that my usual colour disappeared from the shelves so had to try a different L'Oreal blond shade Not the Age Perfect I usually use. My hair ended up with a purple hue, it didn't cover my grey either. I tried another colour, this turned my hair grey! I'm trying to get rid of grey! Why change a winning formula. It looks like I'm not the only one who has experienced problems with your hair dye products. I have managed to track down my old product L'Oreal Aged Perfect 9.13 and this is fine, when this runs out I will have to find an alternative and it won't be L'Oreal. L'Oréal you will end up selling zero hair dye if you carry on like this!
Awful Volume shampoo and conditioner
I don't know what they did to their Ever Pure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner but they are terrible. The shampoo doesn't lather up and the Conditioner makes my hair feel dirty after using it. Why did they change it? I have used these products for years and will now look elsewhere for something better. If it ain't broke...
Volume and Repair? Nope
Bought "Hair Volume" shampoo & Repair Conditioner, used both and somehow ended up with even finer hair and even tuggier and frizzier.. Use this brand if you're going for a gollum halloween costume
My hair is screwed up after using med…
My hair is screwed up after using med brown for years with great results The new and improved version is a disaster. It turned my hair almost black. I called L'Oreal and they said yes they changed the formula they sent me a coupon for the amount of 3 boxes that I could spend on Any L'Oreal product . I think there should be a class action. My hairdresser said it would be an expensive proposition to fix my hair. I also noticed that I am losing more hair than usual. BEWARE OF L'OREAL NEW AND IMPROVED
Big name ,rubbish product, all the time…
Big name ,rubbish product, all the time dripping,so liquidish, smell really bad & strong, they need heaps improvments
Change in Excellence Crème formula!
I am one of a number of loyal customers who have had to rethink their hair care due to the poor results of a previously, perfectly satisfactory, hair colour.
Excellence Crème has recently changed formula and lot of customers claim the same problems of poor coverage and the colour being greenish at the roots. Is it just coincidence that hyaluronic acid has been added to the formula?
Why no explanation from L’Oreal as to the possible causes of the changes people are experiencing. These people have been using your products for years and years and know what to expect from their hair colour. Disappointing customer service L’Oreal!
I managed to find another hair colour (without hyaluronic acid) from L’Oreal - Universal Nudes! - and have found this to provide the same coverage as the previous Excellence Crème with excellent root coverage though the range of colour choices are more limited I am happy again with my hair colour routine.
No no no
I’ve been using this for years. Sadly, the last time I used it, the formula was clearly different - it turned to green slime, yuk. The colour was brassier and didn’t cover roots well at all. Sadly I’ll have to find an alternative. Any suggestions?

Gloopy mixture rinsed out green and left green tints when was supposedly brown
New L'Oreal Excellence Pure Blonde is awful…
New L'Oreal Excellence Pure Blonde with Hyaluronic acid shade 01 lightest blonde. Why, oh why have you tampered with a great formula? I stocked up with several boxes after using the old formula for quite some time. This does not lift and has left the roots a very dull gingery colour. It is awful and not a patch on the old one. I'm very dissapointed and wasted my money stocking up, i have used it twice and same poor results so will look to another brand. Why change something that worked and you have obviously not tested it properly.
What a huge disappointment from L’Oréal’s new Preference hair colour formula
I’ve been using L’Oréal Preference 8 for over 15 years. It was a beautiful California light blond, which was natural and foolproof. I too bought the new formula 8 Light blond, but to my horror, the result was a light coppery tone, which has made me look ill. What happened to the beautiful natural blond colour of this product.
All I can say is L’Oréal have made a huge mistake, their colourist has obviously made a grave mistake in this new product, which doesn’t resemble the California light blond colour at all.
After all these years, I will need to find a new hair colour asap, as I need to get rid of this awful colour and get back to normal.
I have used Loreal Preference hair…
I have used Loreal Preference hair colour for years i used to you use the shade oslo and they discontinued it.so i changed to the shade california. But when i came to purchase my hair colour a couple of weeks ago they seemed to have now discontinued this shade also. I emailed Loreal to ask about this. They said they would ask the experts and get back to me which they never did.So i went for the Light Blonde. I coloured my hair the way i have done many times previously, but the mixture was quite runny and not very nice smelling. I rinsed it off thoroughly. but my hair felt a bit brittle even though i had used the conditioner. But then 48 hours are so later i have ended developing a painful ear infection. Which i have never had before which has made me go deaf in one ear.And i have had to get antibiotics to treat it.Thank you so much Loreal for changing the formula and not letting your customers know. You can stick your hair colour where the sun does not shine.
New Formula is a dud!
After using L'Oreal Creme Excellence for 5 years I have now encountered their new formula......and am sitting here with my hair basically uncoloured. It looks as if I had used a different colour and I now have 2 toned regrowth....yuk! It looks terrible and I will have to redo my hair with a different brand. I even tried a new box thinking that perhaps it was just an unfortunate mistake but the 2nd box gave me the same results. How disappointing.
