Unfortunately the bed was not suitable but nothing to do with the quality of the product.

My experience with Made to Last was outstanding. I purchased a chair bed - The Bromswold and I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase.

I was concerned initially because there isn't a showroom where I could see the product - but I need not have worried.

I requested and promptly received beautifully presented and informative samples. I asked questions via customer service and all my queries were answered in detail.

As a result, my chair bed is exactly what I was expecting - beautifully designed and expertly made.

Communications regarding delivery were faultless.

How wonderful to have found a furniture company that works to such high standards.

The sofa-bed we chose was delivered earlier than expected which was much appreciated. It’s well built and comfortable to sit on. It looks and feels hard wearing which is what we wanted. I finally slept on it last and it was perfect. No clunky, springy noises and extremely comfortable. Ticked all our boxes. 10/10.

Excellent sofa, smooth delivery

It was easy to order the portable bed. The delivery was good, and the bed seems great. It's for children who visit and just what we needed.

The website was easy to use.
The products have been exactly as described on the site, not easily achieved with online purchases as we have learned.
They have been of excellent quality and durability, and the Made to Last have been very helpful over any questions or queries. A great service.

Lovely product, excellent couriers, good customer service who helpfully answered my many questions beforehand and efficient sample service . I now have a sofa bed that my grandson enjoys sleeping on when he comes to stay, and I can use as a sofa between times. Not cheap, so big investment for us, but definitely worth it

Absolutely love the single bed with pull-out bed underneath. The wood is beautiful and looks fabulous. It is well-made and sturdy.
I was initially dubious about the standard mattresses that came rolled up in a very small roll but it turns out that they are very comfortable and they seem to be wearing well.

Well made, beautiful lights. We had searched for a long time for ceiling lights that would suit our low ceilings and finally found them at MADE TO LAST. Waited a little bit of time for them but this was all communicated at purchase and updates were sent. Will definitely be ordering again from MADE TO LAST

I ordered a sofa bed and a sofa from Made to Last. They arrived just over a week ago. The whole family absolutely love them, so comfortable, so well made. A bit of luxury in my house that anyone visiting has been impressed with. The service was great, I asked for a delay in delivery because we were having our floor repaired first. So the manufacture and delivery date were delayed for me. The actual delivery was great, really good communication. I am so impressed and would highly recommend Made to Last.

Bought a sofa bed last year .
Paid over£1300 and the slats have bent out of shape making the bed uncomfortable to sleep on . Daughter has slept on bed for 3 weeks and only used twice for one night , before this.
Company very unhelpful.Want us to pay £170 for an engineer from their factory to look, despite sending photos of offending slats.
Said bed is only for occasional use!! For small people only!! No mention of this when bought and my daughter is not large.
Definitely not Made to Last!
Looking at furniture ombudsman to deal with.
Theslats have failed and company won't replace.

I am currently awaiting Made To Last's delivery company (Green2) to collect a USED and damaged sofa that they delivered on Wednesday, it is now Friday. I was informed the corner sofa bed was "brand new" (although a clearance item - see photo of attached email indicating it was brand new), and paid only roughly £400 less for it (approx £1700 instead of £2100). The sofa clearly has about 12 months of wear, came with a disgusting used sofa bed matress inside it that I would need to dispose of (what was the plan there?!?) and has multiple wear, tears, grease marks and to top it all off, a MOTH! So now I have moths in my brand new house, great!!!

The current situation is that Green2 cannot collect the sofa until the following Tuesday, leaving me to store the sofa (WITH MOTHS!) in my house for 6 days. I have only been offered an apology, zero recourse (for taking a day off work and now being expected to take another day off work!!!)

They have not confirmed that they will process a refund until they get the sofa back, so basically everything is on me to sort out their situation with their supplier. I've tried giving them the opportunity to make this right, I'm just glad I paid for the sofa using a reputable credit card company right now.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Jaspreet seems nice although they haven't been able to sort out anything in two days so that only goes so far.

UPDATE 24/02/23:
They have now kindly arranged for collection at ANY TIME on Saturday, despite me telling them that Friday was the only suitable day. I guess I'll cancel my Saturday plans and stand in my living room all day awaiting disposal of the moth ridden delight that has infested my living room for the previous 3 days.

UPDATE 27/02/23:
Green 2, Made to Lasts delivery company, failed to turn up on Saturday morning - so that's another day of my time wasted. They used the oldest excuse in the tradesman's book and waited until 11am to use it - their van broke down apparantly. What a fabulous way to spend a day staring at a dirty used sofa praying the moths don't jump to my new carpet upstairs. Let's see what happens today in the never ending poor customer service and user journey that Made to Last are treating me to.

Still no offer of recource, refund or anything until their completely incompetent delivery company collect the sofa.

One final point, they did reveal to me that they DO NOT check their returns before sending them back out. WHO ARE THESE COWBOYS? How can you put so much faith in a lying delivery company

UPDATE 27/02/23 (part 2):

Green 2 finally collected the sofa, 4 hours after the agreed pickup slot. I was lucky my builder was able to stay back for this. Also after complaining multiple times and leaving several reviews, I was in fact refunded 5 hours before the collection was made so increasing my star rating to 2* as this actually showed the organisation wanted to make this right in someway. This whole episode still wasted 3 days of my life, which I will never get back, and I have been offered no compensation for this - which was entirely the fault of Made to Last as an organisation (relying on a delivery company to inspect the quality of your returned is simply NOT OK).

What a great company to buy from! I recently purchased a Coveney armless sofa bed. With plenty of fabric and colour choices, I selected Modena Teal. Prior to purchasing, you can op to receive a fabric sample. So I did and the online image was a great match to the actual fabric. I did use the chat box as I had been sorely let down by Made.com who went into administration and I lost my money through it (NOTE: always buy expensive items on your credit card as I had to make a section 75 claim). I also had a phone call from customer service. They reassured me about their purchase process so I went ahead and paid and confirmed my order. The delivery timing was spot on. The guys who delivered my sofa bed were on time and took their shoes off when carrying it upstairs. I’m so pleased with the Coveney. It fits perfectly in my little box bedroom.

A really good, strong fold up bed. I have a hip problem and this bed is better suited to my hip than a conventional bed. Great purchase.

I thought I ordered a sofa bed. Turns out I ordered a sofa. I emailed the company they got back to me within 30 minutes. They organised the sofa to be picked up and ordered me my sofa bed. Emma @ customer services could not have been more helpful. This company proves you get what you pay for. They could not be more accommodating. Slightly more expensive, but worth every penny. I would highly recommend them.

There was a slight issue with the finish on my lampshade but considering the price point and the design (which is great) i didn't mind that much that i couldn't live with it but i was disappointed so i thought i'd say something. I was put in touch with the designer (in france) who spoke to the manufacturer (in scotland) and i got a replacement which was better, without a fuss and actually listened. I'm quite discerning about quality but i didn't expect perfection at this price. I ended up very happy.

This folding double bed is exactly what is needed whenever there are more guests staying than there are available beds. The Jay-Be Supreme Automatic Small Double Folding Bed with Rebound e-Fibre Mattress is comfortable, easy to assemble, reasonably priced, promptly delivered (even over the Christmas period!). What's not to like? Well done Made to Last.
