We hired Ellie and Mike on recommendation and would absolutely do the same. We are so pleased with our shutters in all three rooms. What a great Father and Daughter team. Not only were they friendly, professional and efficient, we had fantastic value for money....Brilliant.

If I could give Ellie and Mike 10000% I would. Great duo in a professional and friendly family run business. They happily guided us through the complexities of plantation shutters with tonnes of patience, zero pressure to buy and competitive prices. Mike (along with his slippers 🤣) expertly fitted everything in the house diligently with great attention to detail. They clearly love what they do and it shows. We are so happy with our shutters and have had many compliments so far!

We are very pleased with the shutters fitted to various rooms in our house by Mike and Ellie. From our first meeting with Ellie we wanted to work with them as a local company who offered a personal service. The survey carried out by Mike was comprehensive and gave us confidence that we had chosen well. The fitting was carried out very efficiently and a problematic bathroom window completed superbly ( with the help of a tiler arranged by Mike).
We would have no hesitation in recommending Made for Shade and will be using them again in the future.

Arrived on time to fit our blinds, very clean and tidy, as a team were shown every curtesy during the fitting stage and at the end was given a demo on the best use and maintenance of the blinds.
All I can say is the end product is amazing and has transformed the rooms in which they were fitted, I would recommend this company to anyone.

Great service from a local business. I try to use local businesses wherever possible so tried to do my due diligence and get three quotes. One company never answered the phone (three times) and the other suggested I send them a quote from someone else and they’d match it - I was a bit offended by that!

Made for Shade: very helpful and offered plenty of options and guidance where I needed it. We had verticle blinds in four rooms, two of which had curved rails. Very prompt and reliable and customer service alone warrants 5 stars.

UPDATE: the acid test for a company is how well they respond to problems. Another 5 out of 5, I had a problem with one of the blinds (my fault, I was scared to force the chain). Phone call answered and dealt with on the same day! Thank you Ellie and Mike!!
