Ellie and Mike have been outstanding from the very beggining and the service they have provided throughout the process has been nothing short of amazing. They are a family business and you get that extra care and attention that you tend to miss in larger high street brands/companies. They kept me informed throughout the process and the Plantation Shutters in the bay windows look amazing. The quality of the final product and installation has been first class and faultless. I was so impressed, decided to get the rest of the house fitted out too. No hesitation in recommending to family & friends.

Today was the second time we've purchased shutters from the team at Made for Shade. As always everything about both the service and product are first class. We can't recommend them highly enough and we wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Just first class from start to finish. A wonderful local family business, with all the craft and quality you'd expect from a premium brand. Measurements were taken with minimal fuss and maximum smiles! Mike even brings his own slippers! They arrived with lots of samples for you to try out. Installation of shutters on our front 3 large windows was unobtrusive, completed with no mess and now each room is transformed. Couldn't be happier.

We've had the shutters installed in our living room bay window a couple of months ago now and so happy with them. Excellent, professional service from a lovely, local family business. Excellent once again

Having used Mike 8 or so year ago, we got in touch for our new property and found his daughter was now part of the business. Ellie was great, quick to come and see us, quote up and get Mike back out to firm up the order. Now fitted, we are extremely happy with what a great product and service they offer, but also just how friendly they have been to deal with. Highly recommended!

Just give these guys a call. Mike has installed shutters and blinds in the whole of our cottage. He always had a solution to overcome any issues. The whole process was easy from the pricing stage right through to fitting. Mike is very easy to talk to and the dog loved him too! The finished result was stunning.
