We discovered that we were missing a crucial part that prevented us from installing a Korniche lantern roof.
I spoke to Tracy who efficiently arranged for the component to be delivered the very next day, much to the delight of my customer. She turned a negative into a positive. Excellent service!

Would highly recommend Made for Trade (MFT), I have a roof lantern from them, and its absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately my builders didn't install the lantern properly which caused some leaking. However MFT's James McDougall was fantastic in helping me resolve this. He first did a virtual assessment of my lantern to advise me of the errors in installation and then supported me getting this resolved (finding the right person, cross checking the suggested solution etc). James also sent out some parts that the original builders had lost which I was extremely appreciative for. Since them James has also followed up to make sure all is well and his customer service has been excellent end to end. Thank you very much James and MFT.

We bought 2 Korniche roof lanterns and have just installed the first one. It was just as straightforward as the website video suggested. Excellent quality product. Very well designed and engineered and everything fitted together beautifully. Delivered on time, well packaged and clear instructions. Highly recommended.

I’ve fitted loads of MFT Korniche roof lanterns and recently had a water ingress issue with one. I spoke to James at MFT and they sent technician Ben to rectify the issue. Client happy so all ends well. James and Ben, their attitude was fantastic and so easy to deal with.

The best customer service I have ever received.

Had a lantern made by this firm and it is excellent. Unfortunately the fitters (not linked) had not put the correct parts on and basically taken them.

I contacted Made for trade and they sent so free replacement parts for the next day.

Later a pane of glass was broken. Within 5 minutes of emailing I was given a supplier and full spec name.

We placed an order with Made for Trade for four roof lanterns and spoke initially with James McDougall. We live in Guernsey so we gave Made for Trade a few problems with logistics/carriers etc but whatever we put to them each query and obstacle was handled quickly and efficiently. They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and are always knowledgeable and helpful. The goods arrived when they said they would and the quality is superb. I travelled to the UK recently and visited their showroom and the set up and premises were really impressive and again they took time to show me around and I was more than impressed. The team were all professional, dedicated and I can't say enough about how impressed we are. Thank you again James it has been a pleasure to deal with you and we will be in touch again in the future. Emailed MFT with a query and got a reply within 15 minutes. Excellent customer service best I’ve had for a long long time. Huge thanks to James McDougall who has sorted out my issue within minutes, whereas we are still waiting to hear back from other suppliers.

We buy bifolds and roof lanterns from Made for Trade, we find the products are excellent and packaged very well. On the rare occasion there is an issue, customer services deal with the issue quickly and smoothly.

We have dealt with MFT for around 5 years now. They have always been efficient but just recently they went out of their way to help us meet the expectations of our customer. We have been experiencing concerns around suggestions for the rebuild of our conservatory roof. Our builder intended to use a Korniche lantern. Yesterday we contacted Korniche/Made for Trade directly to seek their guidance and clarification around the 'sales pitch' we were receiving for products to be used alongside the Korniche Lantern. It is important to stress our concerns were not about the Korniche Lantern. The two employees we spoke to from Made for Trade could not have been more helpful. They have gone above and beyond what many companies would do to indirectly support a customer. This morning we received a phone call to further underscore their guidance before 10 a.m They have even put us in contact with another fitter of their product to enable us to 'pick their brains.' The infill product or builder intended to use may not be correct but we have absolutely no doubt or concerns about the actual lantern structure. We would advise any one to take a look at Korniche products. An outstanding company with which to deal.

The experience with Made for Trade has been 100% perfect, James McDougall the Customer advisor was incredibly helpful and responded to my query very promptly. We have been immensely impressed with the service and the products from MFT and would always use them again. We ordered bifold doors and there was a delay due to COVID but we had updates which was really helpful and when the doors arrived and fitted we were delighted with the overall effect and quality of the doors. The handle was damaged but on making a call to MFT this was immediately rectified and another handle has been posted out to me with updates on the delivery and a lovely message from James who sorted out the problem. I would thoroughly recommend MFT for the quality of goods and the friendly, helpful customer services which nowadays is a rarity and wonderful that if there are any queries that one can actually speak with someone who is competent and helpful. Thankyou again MFT you are a brilliant company to deal with and you are definitely our number one supplier in the future and l have already recommended you to other businesses who l know will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of products and the service you supply.

Fitted our 1st Korniche lantern today 3.5 x 2m
Well organised ordering sheet explaining the important measurements. Had questions on the fitting which Lois sorted out straight away, even sending the fir tree clips foc that we damaged.
Every piece clicks into place like a jigsaw & looks fab.
The blue glass gives a great finish...
Happy customer, happy fitter... It's like Ronseal re-born..
