Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the delivery service, citing significant issues with slow delivery, poor tracking, and packages sitting in facilities for extended periods. Customers frequently reported lost packages and delays, with some stating their items were "out for delivery" for weeks. Reviewers also found the customer service unhelpful, noting a lack of coordination between the shipping service and the postal service, which led to packages being returned or untraceable. Some consumers mentioned issues with package labeling and unexpected additional charges to receive their items.

UPS MAIL INNOVATION Bring back Pony Express

Horrendous. Deceptive responses. In my opinion junk mail and bulk mail come faster.

I could walk a package faster from Massachusetts to New Jersey. Back in Saddle Catalog states in their insert and online that delivery for east coast customers the standard delivery is 3-5 days. When I phoned they say 7-10 days. UPS provides an expected delivery date once they receive the package. For four days I received message package will be received by end of day 9:00 p.m. Of course, when your delivery date comes and goes with zero update on tracking, the natural inclination is to call UPS. When you do this, they’ll tell you that the package has been handed off to USPS and that they have no additional information. So you call USPS and they tell you that they haven’t actually received the package from UPS at all…100% my experience exhausting.

You call UPS back with this updated information and they’ll tell you that because you don’t have a 1Z tracking number, there’s nothing they can do, they can’t look up anything, and they don’t have any additional information. So now how could the UPS agent have seen that it was handed off to USPS in the first place if UPS agents can’t actually see info for the package without a 1Z number? In each of my many interactions with this service, UPS tells me to contact the seller for the original 1Z tracking number so that they can actually locate the package. The problem here is that the seller never has a 1Z number to share. Utterly nonsensical. Ups and USPS are totally out of sync with information.

Tracking flatlines for days, and both USPS and UPS are pointing the fingers at each other.

So you just have to wait, with no idea if/when your package will arrive. In my opinion deceitful, and take no responsibility. Exasperating customer service.

Nothing innovative about this incompetence. In my opinion bringing back the pony express would be an upgrade.

What an awful awful service

What an awful awful service. I understand that we’re in a pandemic and that delivery times are longer for a lot of retailers. That said, I want to make clear that the problem here is absolutely not the wait, it is the sheer lack of expectation setting. UPS assigns an expected delivery date once they receive the package. This date is often weeks away from when you actually end up receiving the package, so why give a date at all? Of course, when your delivery date comes and goes with zero update on tracking, the natural inclination is to call UPS. When you do this, they’ll tell you that the package has been handed off to USPS and that they have no additional information. So you call USPS and they tell you that they haven’t actually received the package from UPS at all…

The problem here is that the seller never has a 1Z number to share. Utterly nonsensical.

Now at this point, you’re likely several days past your original delivery date, your package has had zero movement for well over a week, and both USPS and UPS are pointing the fingers at each other. It’s very easy to be frustrated under these conditions.

So you just have to wait, with no idea if/when your package will arrive. Anyone can see how this creates a terrible experience for the end user, who often has ZERO say in the use of this service. I’m incredibly disappointed with UPS and while I was once a loyal customer, I now go out of my way to avoid them.

Do better UPS.

Long wait for zero content

I ordered some health supplements through Supreme Organics labs.. not only did this carrier take forever but my package arrived as an open, empty envelope. Zero product. Zero contents. No one should use mail innovations!

Worst

I ordered some photos printed of a friend who just passed from Shutterfly.com to be sent to my PO Box in CA. Shutterfly processed the order with my correct shipping info and turned it over to Mail Innovations who scanned it in their OR warehouse and sent it to UTAH to some complete random stranger. They are blaming the company and USPS but the mistake was theirs. Email and phone customer service reps both say they “don’t have any information” even though I sent them screenshot of all the tracking info.

Two packages this week disappeared with USPS sent with UPS Mail Innovations. I can see on shop com that they were delivered to the USPS facility at 33126 and they marked them "delivered" but I never received the packages. This service is the worst.

I just tracked one of them again and it was returned to the shipper for "wrong address" even though the address from the shipper was correct!

Bad Service UPS innovations

I purchased glasses which the web site stated fast shipping and offered June 29th as delivery date through UPS. I received the tracking and ran it which now states it’s been handed over to USPS with no delivery date. The Universe screwed me on this one and I wish I went to a reputable eyeglass company. Oakley Srandard Issue screwed me with UPS innovations now turned into USPS with no delivery date.

Angry, frustrated, disgusted!

My package has been sitting at my local post office, 3 miles from my house, for a week. USPS has not yet removed it from the bulk shipment & logged it in. I called UPS & they said it can take 14 days for USPS to do this, so give it another week.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT

Mail Innovations doesn't even deserve a one star. This company needs to be shutdown. I have been having multiple issues for weeks. Spend hours on the phone being transferred back and forth between various departments who simply just refuse to address any concerns. Completely unprofessional and everyone who has ever used their service should be refunded and compensated for everything they have had to deal with. If I ran MY business this way I never would have made it longer than a year.

Horrible service!

I ordered something that was shipped UPS with an arrival date, that date came and went. When I checked the tracking, I saw it had changed to mail innovations, it's now 6 days past the arrival date and I have no idea where my package is.

This service is a nightmare

This service is a nightmare. You order something and the supplier gives a delivery date (such as Amazon for Prime) it ships UPS, you get a tracking number then it goes into Mail Innovations and then there is no tracking and I have never received something when it was supposed to be delivered when it goes through this system. I understand kinks with something knew, but the logistic person responsible needs to lose their job over this.

Horrible service

Horrible service. UPS is going down the hill. My package is being tossed around my house from one state to another costing me more than $100 of losses a day. Unbelievable that such an old and established company created such a poor scam. I will avoid UPS at no cost in the future.

Ups Mail Innovations is TERRIBLE

Ups has always been our shipping preference but since they teamed up with mail innovations we have been extremely disappointed. Our packages go to Greensboro NC and then transferred(?) to Butner NC never too have tracking again. When you try to check it says delayed, when you call they tell you to contact the shipper because it appears to be lost. THEN about 6 weeks or so IF you're lucky your package suddenly appears. UPS will lose a lot of customers if this doesn't improve. They certainly have a lot of angry customers!!

I don't know why UPS teamed up with this service, but it is the worst. UPS hands the pkg to them at a certain point, then Mailinnovations drops it at the Post Office where it sits for five days and no one can track it.

Mail Innovations Will Infuriate Your Customers

I am a consumer and mail innovations is just warehousing my package. It is showing as delivered on the web site for my vendor. It is showing up as expected delivery date of three days ago on the tracking. But then another segment says it was delivered to the post office three days ago. The chat support person claims that my package is sitting in some warehouse and could be there for DAYS OR WEEKS before they send it to me. They could not even tell me exactly where it was or what state it was sitting in. No apologies, no ownership, just SO SAD, TOO BAD, YOU ARE SOL! If you are a vendor and do shipping think long and hard before signing up with this service! The item I ordered will now be returned because it did not arrive in time to use it for the intended purpose. I sent a message to my vendor complaining about MAIL INNOVATIONS as well.

I’d give it no stars if I could

I’d give it no stars if I could. Orders from Shutterfly that usually take a couple of weeks at the most take twice as long. What’s disconcerting is that the tracking information is not updated. I’m waiting for delivery on an item that disappeared from tracking three weeks ago (with estimates delivery id the next say). I will not order with that shipping option again. Prefer to pay more or find a different vendor.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. Every single order shipped with UPS Mail Innovations resulted in angry customers, lost packages, delays and headaches. In some instances, the package ALMOST made it to the customer's house (I'm talking within 5 miles) and then got shipped out to a completely different state only to never be heard from again. Absolute and complete garbage.
