That's pretty clever. If you're doing a large doc make sure you have enough credits or it'll only translate the pages you've paid for and you'll need to start all over

I signed up for the £0.99 one time trial in February - what I thought was a one off fee.
Then i was charged £29.99 came out my account.
i have to say I'm sick of these dishonest companies, tricking you into subscriptions hoping you wont notice!
I had also tried TheBest PDF for a £1.95 trial, but could not download the file I needed, and same thing happened only this time got charged £39.99 for 2 months! Cancellation did not work - but I contacted their support and they have finally cancelled, after offering yet more discounts - why would i do that for a program that didn't work?! They have said they would refund - but not specified how much - and it would take business 14 days??? how can a refund take that long?? Lets see if i get the full 2 months refund as requested.

Most interestingly their dashboards are identical! Are they the same company???? doing the same trick to get unsuspecting customers who are trying it out to edit PDF's and getting trapped into covert subscriptions.
It should say CLEARLY on the sign up page that if not cancelled within xx days, subscription charge of xx will apply. Instead it just happens after the trial when you have forgotten about it - So dishonest

Inadvertently signed up to a subscription so contacted the company (via Lisa) and they were very quick to respond and refund my money. Very impressed.

I had an amount go out of my account which I was not expecting. It turned out to be a subscription I set up by accident whilst using an app. I sent an email and literally within minutes my email was responded to, the subscription was cancelled and a refund processed. I was very impressed with the speed, efficiency and politeness.

For a relative novice myself I found it so easy to follow and obtain an accurate translation within minutes.

It's great that this service is available. I am not very computer savvy so I wasn't very comfortable doing this. I am using the shortest subscription at this time.

Dear All: Watch out for SCAM scheme from this company called "makemepdf"!!!
This company is definitely deceitful and practices scams. After 1,5 month waiting for them to refund the money they improperly withdrew from my bank account, I concluded that they are not going to do it.They actually practice scams everywhere. And the most stupid thing is that in the email I sent to the supposed Customet Suport they responded by admitting that the debit was undue because there had been no subscription on my part. In other words, they expressly admit the illegality and then do not proceed with the refund to the customer, clearly giving rise to the possibility of taking the matter to higher authorities. What a sad mentality to think that all it takes is opening an online business and starting to take money from people!!! Sad people and shameful mentality.

I was charged for a monthly subscription. I did not see the sign up for this. I wrote immediately and they "say" they processed a refund. After a week... nothing I had to go through PayPal to get my money. The idea of pay as you go is great... but that is not what this is.

Rapid turn around

Easy to sign up and easy to convert my files

This site claims a 4.5 rating on Trustpilot, it looks to me like it is 3.5. They use deceptive billing practices.
I signed up for a $.99 on time plan, but they charged my credit card $56.39 Cad after 2 days. If you look at the plan page carefully, you will see a small line of text at the bottom of the page that says that they will charge you $39 weekly if you don't cancel within 5 days. this is not an honest approach to business.

Paid for trial, but the system couldn't handley requirements of transferring to epub but got charged a subscription of £29.99 three days later. Avoid.

After using ‘makemepdf’ to convert a file I was charged £0.99 which was acceptable. Unfortunate 5 days later this so called company took another £29.99 from my account.
I will not be using this vendor again !
