Decent service from MS. House was an easy sell but don’t use their solicitors Conveyancing Home. No urgency and contact was minimal. Took almost a year to get it over the line.

From the estate agent to the move managers. You are amazing, moving house is stressful. But you helped every step of the way. Regular updates to keep us informed. Absolutely brilliant and thank you so much.

Our experience with Manning Stainton - Rothwell as first time buyers was really positive. Codie was our first point of contact and then passed over to Phoebe once we purchased. Both were fantastic and made the whole process go as smoothly as possible. Highly recommend.

The sale was managed by the estate agent as I live away from the house. It was my mother’s.
It was all dealt with respectfully and I was kept up to date with viewings and offers.

The staff have been so helpful throughout the process, Lisa Rushworth has been amazing when the sale fell through she moved quickly to get the house back on the market and secured a sale.

The Valuer was really professional and friendly. The rothwell team were very friendly and accomodating with additional viewings and Sandra (viewing lady) was lovely. There was a team who were the "go between" but not sure what their role entailed but they weren't very proactive and had to do a lot of the chasing/interaction direct with the solicitors ourselves

Whilst some of the staff were excellent and very polite, the case worker we were assigned made us feel like we were an issue every time we called.
I'm not entirely sure what we paid them for in the sale of our property.
They were consistently giving us information we had from our solicitors weeks after we had it. Not proactive with our request for updates, just throw away comments like "this is normal". Not helpful at all.
I wouldn't recommend using them if you're selling.

From start to finish our Rothwell branch in Leeds was always on hand, they made the process of selling our home so seamless. From doing the viewings, to keeping us updated weekly once and an offer had been accepted. Both Tracie and Jessica were our main contacts at Rothwell, they are both, friendly, knowledgeable and were always available to answer any queries for us. They went above and beyond, explaining each stage clearly to us. We would highly recommend Manning Stainton for your future sale.

The team at Manning were brilliant, super fast and efficient (particularly Lisa and Chloe!). However, when they were recommending us solicitors we did find their team member who dealt with this quite pushy, she would ring us daily asking us if we’d decided on a solicitor yet, despite us saying we needed more time. However, the team in the Rothwell branch were amazing!

The communication between buyers solicitors and mine were slow in giving information.
The sms to my European mobile that notified me of a pre sale viewing was not received . The agent caught me by surprise with the buyers and their family .The agents attitude was not empathetic with this situation which caused me distress and embarrassment.
I can suggest that any appointments made to view the house should have a response from the buyer especially close to completion.
I live abroad and something went wrong with communication on this occasion.
The agent was unaware I was in the property pre exchange . This should not have happened.
The after care of this was not dealt with professionally and left me disappointed.
Personal skills let the agent down .
Other than that the other agents were good at communication .

Lisa and Rachel were brilliant throughout our sale. Lisa was always available on the phone, and the house sold quickly – both times (our first sale fell through but was quickly back on track). Also thank you to Eszter for the fantastic professional photos which definitely helped get people through the door.

There was some confusion around our buyer’s position which was a little frustrating – it’s hard to know where that miscommunication came from – and we did feel that the initial move manager wasn’t as strong on communication as Lisa had been. However, once we raised this, the issue was dealt with quickly and Rachel stepped in. She was excellent – really proactive and determined to keep things moving, even when dealing with a particularly difficult vendor’s agent.

To make the experience even better, we’d suggest explaining the process a bit more proactively (treat us like we know nothing!) – particularly in the run-up to exchange and completion. It might also cut down on queries!

Thanks to the whole team for helping us complete both the sale and purchase. We’d definitely use Manning Stainton again.

Manning Stainton were the estate agents for my first property purchase and they have been incredible from start to completion.

The process of being added to their property mailing list was easy and regular updates were shared via email all of which were relevant to my criteria. When booking viewings the team were friendly and responsive.

Claire Hale was my allocated move manager and she was fantastic. I felt involved throughout the whole process and her persistence chasing solicitors for updates was greatly appreciated. She talked me through the process and what to expect at each stage.

On completion I went to collect my keys and was greeted with a wonderful team who shared my joy. Mannings provided a bag with my keys packed with thoughtfully picked goodies.

I had such a positive experience throughout the purchase, and really couldn’t recommend them enough!
