Overpriced with underwhelming quality. I bought a set of keycaps. I usually buy them from Ali, but this time I wanted the "real deal", so I paid a gazillion dollars to get a real set of mt3 profil... See more

SHIPPING!

So massdrop is an American company and really don't care about most countries out side of the US but there are so many great products on Massdrop that cost way too much for shipping, it's already expensive enough yet when I am paying more for shipping than the product it's self, it's honestly unacceptable

There are always better options than this

If you order from here you better hope your stuff isn't broken. Because I have been waiting months with a faulty graphics card. That is 710 USD for your information. They keep telling me they have contacted the vendor or whatever. I am pretty sure I am never gonna see the light of that replacement unit. Just a heads up if you're thinking about buying from here. Newegg is a better option in every aspect. Their claim is the vendor only supported 30 days of replacement. I find it funny how massdrop so obviously dragged the procedure on only to send the last email saying
-sorry the 30 days are up. Cant help.

Deceptive and misleading shipping information, doesn't have a customer service department.

Massdrop listed an item as "shipping on date X". The first leg of shipping took 8 days before the package disappeared during handoff, and didn't even make it to the USPS before missing DHL's "expected arrival date" that was 10 days out from the date on the Drop.

Massdrop, you were completely misleading about the delivery leg of your services. Shipping times of this length are unheard of for consumer products in 2016, and it's irresponsible to accept hundreds of dollars without being explicit about when the goods you sell are expected to rech their destination.

Furthermore, when I attempted to contact the company to resolve the situation, the customer service department doesn't exist. There's no contact email, and no phone number. Just a form that goes nowhere and triggers an automatic response about how they're experiencing "unusual volume"

I'm filing a complaint with the CA attorney general.

You need live support, and you need to speak about dates in terms of when they reach the customer's hands, not your middleman shipping centers.

Unexpected extra charges and terrible customer services

I ordered to the UK an item. On the product page it said just $12 to ship to the UK as a standard option.
It took a long time but that is okay with the nature of their product and the distance. However my item was held at customs with charges for me to pay. I was at no point warned that I would be taking the role of importer and therefore liable for charges. I did not expect this and mass drop have nothing related to customs on their site to warn anyone. I contacted customer services asking why I was not informed and could they do anything about the charges and they responded by explaining what customs are, this was completely unhelpful and not what I asked. I responded explaining I know what customs are and asked why was I never warned about this possibility and could I have the details for their complaints department and they have now not responded for a week. Not good enough.

mAss Dropped

First and probably last Massdrop. I feel suckered! Purchased a "Nitecore Tiny Monster Flashlight - TM16". They didn't come with batteries or the charger, like they usually do EVERYWHERE online. Once you buy those on your own, it is around the price that would have been charged on Amazon all along!!! Would have had it two days after order date too. Oh well, hope it was worth suckering someone. Good ride Massdrop. Not sure this is a place to save money, definitely not a place to save time. Maybe Passdrop.
