DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. Total scam artists selling duff cars and then leaving you high and dry. I had a year and a half ordeal with them where I had to take them to court and won but still at great cost, time and stress. I must warn you to please whatever you do don't buy a car from these cowboys!
Mayfair Motors sold us a rust bucket of a car for all our savings of £5k with rot holes in the sills close to the seat belt mount which would be an instant fail on an MOT. We were unlucky in that everything started going wrong after the first 14 days and having never bought a car before let alone a second hand one we didn't realise that it's best to get it checked straight out of the blocks. When I did get it checked by a reputable mechanic and MOT centre he said it's a "dead duck" at the end of its life, barely worth £1500 and outlined all the ways we'd been screwed over and ripped off by Mayfair Motors. The advert claimed all the tyres were in good condition, one of them was not road legal! Two more tyres needed doing soon after. The battery was dead and leaking fluid 15 days after sale. There were a myriad of other issues on the car, severely corroded pitted fuel lines, which they consistently ignored. After I first complained and rejected the car they then wouldn't pick up my calls, the only way I could get through to them was via my partner who is male. This was all within the first 3 months of owning the vehicle. When they finally took it back for "repairs" they were sub par and yet it somehow passed an MOT in the area. I rang the MOT centre that passed the MOT and they said they'd had "nothing but trouble with the company". Says it all really!
To add to the long list of liberties they took they incurred a speeding prosecution from the Leicstershire police on my license because they had not put their trade plates on, which my partner saw their driver take out of the back of the car on arrival. They also drove it back to London without my consent or knowledge adding another 100 miles onto the car. They prolonged court proceedings using delay tactics pretending they hadn't got the letters even though he had a picture of the court letter on his phone so I had to go to court not once but twice to get it resolved. They are experts at lying, patronising and gaslighting.
This is why you should NEVER trust a second car dealer because of people like this.
Bit of advice if you are going down the court route with this company get a court compliant Automotive Consulting Engineers report done. Worth every penny of the £300. I used ACE UK and it helped me prove the issues in court.
But please please just AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. I wish I'd seen these reviews otherwise I wouldn't have got into the long drawn out very painful mess that I did buying a car from them.

I bought a Audi q7 for £7300 with 130000 miles,I drove the car for less than a thousand miles when the injectors failed,Mayfair refused to let me get it repaired at my local garage,Mayfair retrieved the car saying they would repair it,after 92 calls made to Mayfair and after a number of lies told to myself by Adam and zam for over a month they finally told me that the car was ready ,when I picked the car up it was above 400 miles more on the clock and half a tank of fuel used, the car had obviously been used for personal use and the interior was covered with fag ash .This is easily the worst experience with buying a vehicle I have ever had, what a bunch of robbing cowboys who will do anything but meet you face to face.Be warned stay away from this so called company.
Do not buy a car from this company
Do not buy a car from this company. My friend purchased a car from here in September and there were issues with it straight away. He has been going backwards and forwards to them and they have just not fixed it and have wasted his time and money! He is left with the fault! He even ended up with a parking ticket for a offence when it was in their possession and they are ignoring him about it! I mean really!? Not good enough.
Beware buyers
Beware buyers. Extremely unprofessional dealership. I purchased the vehicle in September and have had ongoing issues since day one, including engine warning lights, limp mode, high fuel consumption, and suspected mapping faults.
In a very short period of ownership, the dealer has had the car for over a month in total, across four separate visits, and it has never been returned fully fixed. Communication has been poor throughout, with no repair paperwork provided.
I travelled to Leicester four times, wasting time and money, and continued paying finance and insurance while the car was off the road. On one occasion, the vehicle was even returned with two under-inflated tyres, which is unacceptable.
When purchased they had the car for a week to fix the radar this was not done I was only told this when picking vehicle up. They did refund me £250 for this but again no communication
Third occasion they had the car for 11 days I travelled an hour to pick up I was made to wait two hours, and car was still faulty
Fourth occasion dealer dropped car off after 14 days and was still faulty also returned back with two low tyres which is very unprofessional
I have travelled to Leicester four times, which has been both time-consuming and costly. Additionally, I have been paying insurance and finance for a vehicle I did not have for over a month, and which has repeatedly been returned to me in a faulty condition.
Overall, a very disappointing costly and stressful experience.
Bought a car that was clearly faulty
Bought a car that was clearly faulty, they accepted that it was their fault but refused to do anything about it. Was told it was only £4000 what do you expect. Take us to court
Sell Damaged Write off's
I bought a car from this company and soon discovered it was in a very poor and unsafe condition. It developed serious faults shortly after purchase, and repairs have already cost me thousands. I initially asked for a modest £200 refund to cover urgent issues, but they refused to help at all.
The vehicle should never have been sold in its condition, it was unsafe to drive and not roadworthy. It’s clear they do not take responsibility once they have your money.
I’ve since learned this trader has operated under different names before, which is concerning. I’m currently pursuing this through the courts due to the level of damage and risk involved.
Please be extremely cautious and have any vehicle from this seller thoroughly inspected before even considering a purchase, and even after that, go elsewhere

Huge thanks to Adam and Zam for making my car purchase experience smooth and stress-free! They were super helpful every step of the way — from helping me find the right car to making the trade-in process for my old one quick and easy. Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail really stood out. I couldn’t be happier with my new ride. Highly recommend working with them!

Avoid this dodgy dealership they will act nice to you until you give them your money.
I dealt with little man Adam who's attitude changed after we purchased a car for my nephew.
Adam has an attitude of a sassy little girl and cannot behave professionally like a man. We tried to get raise some issues with the car in question and after false information he becomes extremely defensive.
Do not trust this "man" as he will act kindly until you give him your money. That's when this weasel will show himself and he will avoid you because he ain't got the cojones to confront.
There are a few reviews if you dig down in the reviews. I made the mistake of not believing them. Most of Mayfair Motors reviews are quite clearly bots.
They also have a strategy of telling you to leave them a 5 star review after they scam you off. Thats how they got the high ratings.
Don't believe them and avoid!

The tirade of negative reviews speak…
The tirade of negative reviews speak for themselves.
SC65WXE Skoda Octavia.
Firstly, this looked an ideal car and auto-trader reviews indicated a reliable business. Unfortunately, these reviews can be fabricated.
We put a £100 deposit down and paid for an independent survey, which I’m so glad we did.
The survey brought up major faults that simply would not have passed MOT, the car on offer was dangerous and I can’t believe they were willing to sell this, nonetheless knowing the reason for purchase was to fit a newborn baby. The salesperson changed their attitude and stated they were waiting to sell the car pushing us to make the sale, interestingly they requested that they speak to me, a woman, whenever my male partner attempted to phone the company. After this, Mayfair Motors replied once to ask for a copy of the report but have since cut off communication.
We had requested a deposit refund, on the basis that the car advertised was not reflective of what it really was.
Having done some research they are not disclosing the name of the garage that completed the MOT, and this is not available on public domain. It is likely that the same garage is passing all the MOT’s. As others have stated the company has changed its name multiple times to avoid bad reviews.
Do not be pressured to transfer money by BACs for a deposit or any other payment.
Having taken advice on this, I am submitting a formal complaint to their email with 14 days to respond.
When they inevitably fail to respond this can be escalated to the motoring ombudsman.
The more people that do this, the more likely this company and dangerous associated garage will be shut down without the option to reopen.
I have lost £100 but hoping that nobody else is in a serious collision by buying one of these cars!
Great service
