Don't buy from this dealership
Also trading as Buy and Sell your car
If I could give NO STARS I would. Saturday 21 January collected a Corsa 65 plate from this car dealership. After travelling 5 miles I was unable to put the car in any gears. I had to put the hazards on, switch off the engine and try starting again. I called the dealership straight away and they did not answer the phone so I sent a WhatsApp message - no response. The dealership sent out a mechanic Monday 23 January who confirmed that there was a problem with the clutch. It is now Tuesday and we have been going back and forth with the dealership which have reported to the finance company that I burnt out the clutch and are refusing to carry out the repairs under warranty without me contributing to the cost. RIDICULOUS!! Stay away from this company . . . . . .NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO AFTER CARE definitely only wanting to make a PROFIT.

Rude, threatening staff, shambled

Refused to give deposit back & threatening on the phone. Asked multiple times due to issues getting to the dealer with road closures, couldn’t view until next month and didn’t want to waste their time & keep a car for a month. Do not trust them!! Was told it was refundable so lied too, also promised a video of the car, never came! Asked about distance sale rights, they didn’t have a clue!! Shambles!! “No one knew who I spoke with” “didn’t even see the deposit come in” “I’ll hang up the phone if you ask for your deposit back again” “I don’t care, not my problem” awful!! Still waiting for a call back now.

The most unprofessional and unhelpful company I have worked with

I bought a car off Mayfair Motors a month ago and was told the car was in perfect condition with no issues. Despite this, I was told I still had 3 months full warranty should I buy the car.
The day after buying the car, it wouldn’t start. Naturally I called Mayfair to explain the issue; however, I was met with an extremely rude and confrontational response from someone called Zam. Instead of trying to help me resolve the issue, they were instead extremely combative and argumentative, implying I was too naïve to understand the issue and suggested the car was in fact fine, despite not starting. I had to get my friend involved in the call for them to take my issue seriously (I imagine because I am female and my friend is male). Eventually, we agreed to get the issue fixed at a local garage and invoice Mayfair for the repairs, which they would reimburse me for.
After getting the car fixed, Mayfair started ignoring me. I emailed and called countless times over the next three weeks. Any time I was actually able to get through to the company (off a different number that they didn’t know was mine), they pretended not to know me or my issue, despite speaking to the same people, Adam and Zam. They finally decided to acknowledge me when I told them I was getting a solicitor and going to the Motor Ombudsman; however, they disputed the price of the repairs and refused to cover it, instead saying they would cover just a fraction of the cost.
The one thing I cannot fully convey in this review is how rude and combative everyone at the company has been throughout the entire process. They are truly the most argumentative people I have ever had to deal with, and have absolutely no respect or care for their customers.
This case is currently ongoing, I have approached the Motor Ombudsman and a Solicitor and will no doubt have my costs reimbursed through those channels, despite Mayfair’s efforts not to cover any of the cost. All this to say, this is categorically the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with and they certainly do not deserve your money, please for your own sake, go somewhere else.

THEY USE FAKE BOTS FOR AUTOTRADER AND GOOGLE

**THEY USE FAKE BOTS FOR THEIR 210 'GOOD' REVIEWS*** THEY USED TO BE CALLED EUROSTAR MOTORS WHO CONNED MANY CUSTOMERS**

See the bad reviews here for their old shut and run 'EUROSTAR MOTORS'

Dangerous garage. They don't answer calls / emails + undercut you hard on lowballs.

They sold us a car that was broken.

The 'good' reviews are fake, both here and on Autotrader

The 'warranty' with Lawgistics doesn't exist

Their previous 2 garages were shut down due to Trading Standards receiving record number of complaints

Will complain to google if they remove this authentic review and the autotrader for their dubious 5* reviews (see the one-person 'reviewers' - bots - who all have less than 3 detailed reviews per person below). We got their dealings on camera for proof.

Scam dealership, clearly don't care about the welfare of women and children passengers in particular who drive such deathtraps.

Do NOT go by the positive google / autotrader revs; go by independent websites / Facebook.

PS: they don't give you the correct amount on cash purchase nor a receipt. This is your reward for undercutting me + my family, and it has cost you in the long run, pal

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS

I've never written a bad review before but this really deserved it because nobody needs the stress I went through. I bought an Audi A3 and they sold me the car knowing it had a dodgy clutch and ignored my calls and emails for days at a time once I found out and I never got any money back. The car was advertised with full service history and I never got it and it's had countless problems. They also said they'd tax my car for me if I paid them the money and they couldn't do it but didn't refund me the money for over a month. Awful customer service, stay far away it isn't worth the risk.
