Very bad experience with them
Very bad experience with them. I bought 2008 Renault Megane couple of months ago and even paid for full service. Upon driving the car home from their garrage (2miles away), the car shown CHECK GEARBOX on the dashboard. Immediately I placed to call Adam (dealer rep), He said the car is OK and tried to return, but they rejected the car. As a fresh car owner who saved for over 1year buy the car to ease my work and take my wife to work as well. Currently, the car is at home, insurance and road is reading. I am hopeless. This is very bad and I don't know where I will get another money to repair or buy new car.

❗️COWBOY SCAMMERS!! STAY AWAY❗️
Stole £100 off me, said they would send it back then ignored all my messages and calls!
I first dealt with Zam who said I would get my £100 deposit back if the finance agreement didn’t go through. When the finance wasn’t accepted for some reason, I got in touch with Mayfair motors to get my deposit back as they promised. Since then I have only managed to get in touch with Adam who lies and says he’ll send it then doesn’t.
Also they didn’t take the advertisement down from Auto Trader after I sent the deposit which further highlights how dodgy this business is.
Currently taking them to a small claims court. Don’t take any notice of their own / bot reviews.
Reliable car, good customer service
Personally I found a gem of a car in a Peugeot 107 at a really decent price with no MOT advisories. Overall I'm very satisfied as the 2nd hand market in Norfolk is kinda expensive. Adam served me very well and sold me a very well taken care of and reliable car

Best customer service and car buying…
Best customer service and car buying experience I have had in the 12 years of being a driver. Got a great E Class with low mileage and with warranty and in great condition, the owner had looked after me well and had also helped me with switching my private number plate from the car I had given in for part ex.

KV62 GVE - Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Well, where to start. After a 3 month fight of ignored calls, arguments and legal proceedings I finally have some of my money back. Think of Mayfair Motors as the Fawlty Towers of motor traders and you wont be far wrong - the only difference being is that Basil Fawlty never actually went toe to toe with his customers. I wont bore you with the full details other than that when I bought KV62 GVE Peugeot 5008 off them it had a snapped dipstick so essentially had no oil in it. I bought a new dipstick and filled with oil at their instruction and the engine let go in a cloud of smoke after a few miles. After a stand up row and nearly coming to blows with the guy they sent to collect the car, they proceeded to ignore my calls for a month so I issued court proceedings against Mayfair Motors. They wound down the clock on this and then asked the court for an extension of time. At the very last minute they claimed to the court that the car had been overfilled with oil and hence the failure. When the court asked for an independent mechanics report to verify this they went very quiet, again winding down the clock until hours before the refund was due. It was eventually paid, not the full amount of the car but I was just happy to get some money back and close the matter. When I spoke to anybody at Mayfair and asked their full name I was accused of racism and, as stated, was threatened by the guy they sent to collect the car. The car is now back for sale on their website along with some very suspicious looking reviews. Purchase from them if you want, but dont say you werent warned!!
Amazing friendly experience
Amazing friendly experience, from my initial contact to the customer service everything was on point, even the car I was told to go for has been amazing. I Would definitely recommend Mayfair and their team to my family and friends
Great overall experience… no problems at all despite bad reviews on here
Was a little skeptical about my purchase having read reviews on here. But with a certain budget, Mayfair seemed to be the best value for money.
I’m a new driver and was looking for a small hybrid car. They had a Toyota auris that seemed to be what I was looking for but there were some places on the car the paint was chipping off when I went to see it. Adam who was the one that I was dealing with, assured me he would get it all sorted for me and would have it ready for collection in a week’s time. I put down a deposit as I didn’t want to lose that deal. Went in a week later and all touch ups had been done as promised an on time.
I made payment on 8th Feb 2024 by credit card, all was done swiftly and professionally. I went for the option to get 3 months warranty for engine and gear box just incase.
Held off writing a review to see how the first few months go. Car has been a saviour and given no problems at all.
The guys at Mayfair were really professional and addressed all my concerns, answered all my questions as and when I had any.
I’d say don’t let the bad reviews steer you away, go and see the vehicle, meet the guys and go with your gut :)
Excellent serviceExcellent service, iam very grateful.. all thanks to Adam he has been very helpful and patient.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS!!!
We purchased a car, BMW 520D, 2011 plate, from these cowboys back in October 2023 which was full of issues (I'm not sure why we purchased it but we did. Hindsight is a wonderful thing).
Then, after having the car for only 7 weeks, a major service was required which resulted in 4 new tyres, new brakes and discs, which cost us a further £1400+. It was noted in this service, that it would not pass an MOT in its current state.
After looking back over the cars' last MOT cert, there was an advisory for the nearside rear tyre worn close to the legal limit. After checking the odometer readings from the MOT to what it was when we bought it, it was proven that they had driven the car a further 405 miles before selling the car to us and without having replaced the tyres.
Then, a following 6 weeks after its major service the car completely died due to the fuel pump failing. There were metal particles in the fuel.
Since February, we have been in an ongoing battle with Mayfair Motors and the finance company as the intermediaries trying to get the car fixed.
Adam has been incredibly difficult and awkward throughout the whole process; not only with us, but with the finance company.
He demanded that our car was delivered back to him, but he refused to cover any of the recovery costs, but, The Consumer Rights Act states "When a consumer is pursuing a repair or replacement remedy to a breach of CRA, a dealer must bear any necessary costs incurred [...] This would include the cost of returning the vehicle to the garage"
The garage it was at, at this time was in fact a BMW specialist who had looked at repairing the car. The initial cost, to clean the railings and pump was around £1300+ but there was no guarantee this would fix it and if it didn't, it meant replacing all 6 injectors at a further £2400+++!!!
Adam refused to use any other garage, even though this was a BMW specialist and as he also refused to cover the costs to recover it back to him, the finance company had to step in and cover the costs on our behalf. He then kept the car a further 17 days without even looking at it. He had an excuse each time the finance company contacted him for an update.
At this point, the finance company were clearly getting frustrated and arranged to get the car recovered yet again, but this time, the car was inaccessible as it had not been used in over 2 months (flat battery and an electric hand break and an automatic) so, the finance company had to pay for a wasted journey to the recovery firm. There was also the initial issue that, prior to us knowing the battery was flat, Adam and Zam were refusing to hand over the keys to the recovery driver. My husband was then contacted by the recovery driver and had to drive over to Mayfair to hand over the spare key.
On the odd occasion I spoke to Adam at the beginning of all this, when he was demanding the car be delivered back to him, he was incredibly patronising and very misogynistic towards me and it came across that he didn't think a woman could possibly know anything about cars.
After all this and us having to contact Citizens Advice who stated that the Consumer Rights Act says "The law falls in favour of the consumer (buyer) and assumes the fault was there at the time of purchase unless the seller can prove otherwise", Adam still refused to acknowledge his wrong doings or even attempt to repair.
He has breached so many of the the CRA 2016 and should be shut down. This is on my to do list, to report him to Trading Standards and VOSA.
Nothing about this dealership is professional and after reading all the other comments, it seems to be a common theme that they are selling unroadworthy vehicles. So, please, if you are considering buying from them and doing the smart thing and reading reviews first, please, please do not buy from Mayfair Motors.
FRAUD. DO NOT SEND SINGLE FENALES THERE EITHER
We found a car on Autotrader last year and went to view the car with the possibility of part exing our vehicle. The car was in pretty good condition considering its age apart from one of the doors had considerable damage to the paintwork. Obviously we mentioned it and they said if we put a deposit down, they would get it sorted. The NEXT DAY we got a phone call to say it was sorted and could we collect straight away as the vehicle was taking up space. I said that if it had been ready when we came to look at it, we would have taken it to which he replied we only sort vehicles out when somebody buys it. I said they would have to wait until the weekend as we both work and would have to travel 20 miles to get it so couldn't get there before it closed. He rang again asking if we could come and get it so in the end my husband (after an over night coronation rehearsal) went to pick it up. The repair work was ok, still visible but for 4K I suppose beggars can't be choosers. The reason I am writing this review months later is that we have taken the car to be looked at by a local vehicle paintwork guy and he said it is the worst botch job he has seen.
Also don't expect the cars to be serviced either.
In hindsight we should have refused but we were worried we wouldn't receive the deposit back.
Would not recommend
