Engineer rang to let me know when to expect him, very polite and efficient. Explained the work and the parts fitted.

Taking out an old gas fire, capping off the supply & disposal of old unit.
Booked an appointment with ease, arrived earlier than the alloted time which suited me.
Very professional, job completed with no issues, wore shoe protectors so there was no mess at all.
Taped up the hole ready for me to board, would book these guys again without question, excellent service & a good price for the work.

First time I've used Mayne. They were round the next day, looked at the problem, gave me possible options and explained them clearly. Decision made, they were on with the job, finished and cleaned up very swiftly. Lovely polite workers. No hesitation in using them again and recommending them.

Having recently moved into a new property, a lot of the systems in the house were ancient and out dated. I discovered that two of the radiators were badly corroded and leaking. The response from Mayne Gas was swift, and the same day I had a helpful and polite visit. I had all the radiators replaced, and the boiler. The task was done efficiently and without undue mess. The engineers were friendly and professional, they did their best to do the job with minimum disruption to me.
Overall very pleased with the experience and service.
A short time after the fitting I saw that there was a small, minuscule leak from one of the water pipes leading into the boiler, the next day they sent some one over to tighten the connections. All good.

Extremely bad experience with this company. We paid upfront at the start of the week for an engineer to fit a shower, we were given an appointment date for the end of the week.
A day before our appointment we were informed that a job of theirs had run over and they had cancelled all their pre booked appointments for that day. They offered an appointment that was inconvenient as the tiler wasn’t ready for the shower fitting that day, hence obviously why we booked the appointment date when the tiling was complete. After that the earliest they could fit the shower would be early the next week, again not possible due to work commitments. Considering we told them we had no other bathing facilities and had already gone a week like this after their engineer dismantled our old shower, we were just informed there was nothing they could do, admitted they had a bigger job on and after complaining that our appointment had been booked and paid for and they had breached their contract with us they just refunded our cash and said they weren’t prepared to work for us. Totally unacceptable, extremely poor customer service, no empathy and was made to feel like my complaint was unjust. A prebooked appointment, paid for upfront and cancelled by Mayne’s the day before in order that they could complete their bigger job, shameful.

Mayne's have recently completed the annual service on our Vaillant boiler.
Charlie, the engineer, carried out a meticulous service and afterwards clearly explained what work had been done and the various readings that he had noted in the service record.
The office staff also deserve a mention as they were helpful and efficient in arranging the service appointment.

Professional as always,courteous engineers and reasonably priced.

We had our annual boiler service last week. Shaun arrived in the morning as arranged and completed the job efficiently. He wore a mask and was careful about cleaning up after the job was finished. We are glad we went with Mayne to install and maintain our boiler.

We highly recommend this company. They have just removed our old heating boiler and installed a new one in a different location in the home. Perfect job done. Within a week of accepting the quote worked commenced. Great customer service, friendly and helpful team. Nothing was too much trouble from them, spent time at the end making sure we understood how to use the controls etc.
Very neat and tidy workers, they came on time. Will definitely use Mayne Gas Heating again in the future.

If you need a plumber look no further than Maynegasheating, this company deserve five star plus in all aspects of care ,efficiency ,and customer service. Unlike some companies no job is too small for them to care. I was experiencing trouble with my toilet ,the flush system would not stop so consequently water was running all the time. I contacted my landlord who arranged for this company to come and repair the toilet. Within one hour I was contacted by a very caring lady called Yvette who told me that a plumber would be with me within an hour, in less than this time Jacob arrived ,what a very cheerful and efficient man he is. He diagnosed the problem within minutes of arriving and proceeded to rectify the problem, he carefully explained to me what was wrong and how he was going to repair it. He dismantled the cistern found the fault, and repaired it. He spent time making sure it had stopped leaking and left everything tidy.
I am a very elderly lady and so consequently remember good old fashioned service, what a pleasure to find this still exists. A young man who takes a pride in his work and is a wonderful advertisement for this company. .

Needed a new gas fire. Shaun came to check chimney was o.k. and ask what type of fire we wanted, picked fire and got it ordered. When fire came in stock, got a date and time organised. On the day Shaun was prompt, efficient, polite and informative. Very happy with whole job. Highly recommended company.

Our boiler needed servicing and ignition switch needed replacing, As the boiler is not in its first flush of youth we could.not get the spare part, the engineer was amazing and managed to fix the problem. Prompt service, arrived when he said he would, very helpful and a good job. Will definitely use again and recommend highly.
