Good communication, good range of products
Excellent range of lightings and competitive prices. I’ve chosen a wall light that was faulty And the replacement came straight away. When the replacement had the same malfunction, the communication was effective, the customer service very helpful and the refund was arranged promptly.

Worst internet seller I have ever…
Worst internet seller I have ever experienced. Received faulty goods from their supplier. Their e-Commerce Executive refused to accept there was fault despite being sent photos. He was rude and arrogant. When I asked if my only option would be to complain to trading standards, he just said "go for it"! Blamed the supplier for refusing to accept the goods back even though he should know very well the customers contract is with the seller not the supplier. Ignored my emails and it took weeks of emails and phone calls to sort out. I eventually spoke to a colleague of his who had no hesitation in agreeing the item was faulty.

I am sorry you felt this strongly to give us a 1 star review. We take our customer feedback very seriously.
This was a branch collection. You called in to collect the order at 7:00 - 8:00 am. It was then delivered by our supplier at 11:00 am, and was collected by yourself at 11:15 am. It arrived 3 hours late because we had to order it in. Regrettably, we cannot influence the courier of our supplier. Behind the scenes, we are working to change this.
It was me you dealt with, and I feel I dealt with this with a great deal of empathy and gratitude for your patience.
I take the view that customers of ours should never be inconvenienced by inventory issues, but in this case, you were inconvenienced by 3 - 4 hours and I extend my apologies again.

There was a lack of communication regarding a delay in delivery which was frustrating but once this was realised the communication improved and the ordered item delivered very quickly. So thank you Jamie for sorting things out.

Good prices - excellent customer service

Couldn't deliver but didn't let me know
I ordered a few hundred's pounds' worth of equipment from Midshires but they didn't have it in stock. This wouldn't have been a problem except I was only told they didn't have it well after the point when it should have arrived. This was very difficult since at that point I couldn't order the kit in time from elsewhere.
On the plus side they were very good about processing the refund.
