I placed an order on 7/12/2018 for an…

I placed an order on 7/12/2018 for an item that was in stock but after not receiving it a couple of weeks later I telephoned to inquire about the order. The customer service was excellent and they looked into the issue only to find that the order although I had confirmation from them that it had been placed was not on their system.
To be fair they did get it to me in a few days after the inquiry but from the 7/12/18 I didn’t receive the item until 21/12/18.

Prior to the holiday period we had a lot of staff off work. As a result, some orders didn't receive the attention they should have. However, this should never affect our customers and is no excuse.

Poor response to a broken item delivered.

We purchased 3 pendant lights from Midshires Electrical, one of which was found broken on delivery. Having reported the issue immediately via email (inclusive of photo), via their website and chased 4 (!) times, we are yet to receive replacement, 2 weeks on. Really disappointed with the response this far.

Update:
A replacement light was delivered on 08/01/2019. Thank you.

There were some strange reviews about delivery when I researched this company .......
DON'T Worry delivery was vary quick.although the five light fittings
were not in stock, they came direct from the manufacture but still within the five days quoted.
I had one too many fittings, I rang and said can I return one for credit spoke to Arron who gave me a returns number, nothing could have been simpler

Items arrived promptly but didn't fit but no exchange possible

Items arrived promptly but unfortunately just a bit too long to fit space under pews. Were informed that as they were old stock could not arrange exchange, so have additional expense of getting someone in to make adjustments to pews to accommodate them.

FAILED pricey LED dimmable…

FAILED pricey LED dimmable bulbs.Stopped working after a day. Phoned to ask for a replacement but fobbed off with "Aran will call you back" but never did. Poor quality products and customer service.Not impressed.

Item ordered as website said delivery…

Item ordered as website said delivery in 2-3 working days only to receive an email the following day to say "I’m afraid we are currently out of stock of this item and the new stock is not expected by our supplier until w/c 3rd December." Item is still showing as available on website with same delivery times and when I queried this though an online chat the person I was chatting to left the chat! Very misleading and disgraceful business practice. They claim that stock on their website does not update all the time, this should be reflected on any order. I wonder how long it will take me to get a refund!?!?!?

Fantastic service and products.

Fantastic service, delivered within 3 days. Products were carefully packed.
Lights are beautiful and great quality, compared with other big online retailers I was extremely happy with the price and service.

Really helpful company

Really helpful company. Used the online chat to check that the product I wanted was right for me so there was no unnecessary returns. They were polite and helpful and I got my product delivered fast and free. Would highly recommend!
