Defective product; no customer service
Like many others I should have read these reviews before ordering. The erabuds were a Christmas present purchased in December 2023 and did arrive though later than anticipated delivery and with tracking that somehow is based on Portugal and impossible to actually follow.One earbud (right) is full of static and customer service is nowhere to be found after countless emails and a chat box that is never answered no matter how long you wait… and no phone number to call. We are thinking this is a writeoff and won't waste money on a tracking return based on what I have read here. Have also tried the US site as well and still no response. This has been more than a week. Don’t buy from this company. Should know that if it’s not available in a store it’s not worth the money and have no recourse.Their online reviews must be self generated which is misleading for customers!
Order Never Arrived, Bogus Tracking Number Given, Non-Existent Customer Service!
I placed an order with this company on Dec 27. My item has still not arrived. Their website says orders are dispatched from their Toronto warehouse (same day if you place your order before 12:00 PM EST).
The tracking number they gave me is bogus. It links to a carrier site in Portugal that says they do not have information relating to that number.
I've sent them countless emails, chats (they NEVER answer their chats) and even DM on Instagram and they have yet to give me the courtesy of a response! I can't even call them as there is no number listed.
I wish I would have seen all the terrible reviews on TrustPilot before I purchased from them.

Customer service contact is terrible. i wrote a terrible review yesterday saying no contact. Thought i lost my money but hey, after I walked two kilometers and back again to buy another brand because I thought since they never replied or even gave me tracking info etc, they weren't coming, I just walked up to my front door and low and behold, there sitting at my front door was the Mifo buds!! whew!! But now I have to walk back to take the others back! Ah thats ok...easy peasy since I can easily return the other pair to Staples. Will do it tomorrow.

Earbuds lasted about a year
Earbuds lasted about a year, then the left one died. Tried all suggested resets to no avail. No help from Mifo, no replies to inquiries.

DO NOT BUY THESE!! The only reason their getting one star is because there’s no 0 option. Bought some in may, right one wouldn’t charge. Contacted them about exchange/refund (preferred refund after a quick redit search revealed this is a common issue) and was given instructions on how to send them back. Have tracking number and have sent countless emails kept getting generic responses. Now they’re not even replying to me. Horrible company, poor product.
Bought the Mifo 5, Mifo 7 and Soniktrek XL
Man, I was totally caught off guard by all those negative reviews. Like, I never bothered to Google it before, you know? But let me tell you, my own experience with the Mifo 5 and 7 has been totally different. I've had these babies for like 4-5 years, and they're still going strong, no lie!
And I gotta spill the beans on these Soniktrek XL speakers I got. I actually went all in and got four of 'em! Now I've got wicked sound blastin' all day, and I mean full throttle, no holding back! It's like having a non-stop party on my playlist.
But wait, there's more! When I wanna go the distance, I can use 'em one by one, and they keep rockin' for like a freakin' 24 hours or even more! How sick is that?
Honestly, this brand rocks! It's totally affordable, and it's been a real champ for me. No complaints at all, man!
My earbuds are defective
My earbuds are defective, the left one is not connecting to the right one. Customer service gave me steps to follow and after multiple attempts, the problem still exist. Only had them since October 2022 and stopped working April 2023. Customer service asked me to return them early June, which I did , following their instructions. Since then they keep sending me emails requesting the return details, which i did 4 times.. Their CS is horrible, the product did worked well for 6 months but dealing with the Canadian CS is awful.

Non existent customer service. My first order from them was great, and I love the earphones I received. No problems. Second order was totally different. Ordered two different items, paid for two items, but I only ever received the one. Ive tried emailing and reviewing multiple times but the emails go unanswered and the reviews arent getting added to the website. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
No actual Warranty and they don’t work…
I bought earbuds from Mifo trusting that they had a warranty so it would be a safe purchase. I was wrong. Within a month of my purchase one earbud wouldn’t charge properly. I reached out to support and they gave me some steps to take. None of the steps worked. Not once did they offer anything related to the warranty. When I finally demanded they replace the earbud they told me that I was eligible but that I have to pay to send the set back to them. I’m not paying because even then they don’t guarantee they will replace them. I would not waste my money with this terrible company. They don’t post negative reviews of their products. Multiple people on other sites have had the same issue as me with one earbud not holding a charge. Spend the extra and buy something that is worth it and with a company that actually stands behind their product.

MIFO 07 earbuds lasted 15 months
MIFO 07 earbuds lasted 15 months, first the left earbud died, then the right also. Tried all the recommended resetting, Bluetooth unpairing / repairing etc. Nothing, simply died having been kept clean and looked after well. Customer service completely non responsive to their support email address and website chat for help request, they're not interested at all. Beware, product doesn't last and zero help after purchase.

Be prepared to pay even more money just for the chance of maybe getting some money back
If you are one of the countless many to receive a faulty product from this company, and DARE wish for your money back, good luck! Be prepared for endless emails, contradictory messaging, and delay tactics for weeks on end. Should they grant you a return request, you will still have to pay more money for mandatory tracking on the return, and Mifo will withhold the right to retain 20% of your original purchase cost as a "restocking fee", or to waive a refund whatsoever.
If you do get your refund but also have the likely restocking fee implemented, you can expect about 60-70% of the money you originally spent paid back as your refund (after return shipment costs). All for a broken product they elected to send to you, after you so kindly paid them in good faith.
This company has excelled in providing the single worst instance of customer care I have ever experienced, and I suspect it is by design. Terrible business practice top to bottom. Avoid them like the plague.

I really wish I had read these reviews before I purchased ear buds from Mifo Canada. I thought that since you can buy this brand on Amazon it must be legitimate. I ordered the special edition red canadian Mifo 05 Plus Gen 2 [2022]
Smart True Wireless Bluetooth 5.2 Earbuds. I received my invoice which indicated that the earphones were getting ready to be shipped. I then received an email saying they were on back order and would I like to choose something different. I responded no that I would wait. A month later I emailed requesting an update and when I could expect the earbuds. No response. I sent a few more emails and finally got a response when I threatened to report Mifo to the better business bureau and my credit card company. They then asked for specific info regarding the order, which I sent to them. My feeling was that they were trying to placate me and fob me off.
I finally received an email stating these headphones were back ordered for an additional 3-4 weeks. I responded that this was not acceptable and I wanted a full refund. Since asking for a full refund I have had absolutely no response. I have ended up going to my credit card company to dispute the charge on my card on the grounds that I have not received my merchandise! Very frustrating!!!!! So disappointing!

This companies policies about postage is awful. I've bought pairs of their mifo 05 plus earbuds and have had nothing but troubles with then. Mifo expects me to pay for shipping even though they have admitted to me that it's a known problem they have. Completely unacceptable customer service. Going back to Sony for a quality product and exceptional customer service. Don't believe their website when it says"The best quality product on the market...
