Waste of money

I was pretty excited to get these earbuds; my first pair of cordless. When they arrived I was impressed by the nice, sleek case. I'm not an audio junkie but the quality of the sound is excellent.

What I look for is the functionality, user-friendliness of the product and these buds completely miss the mark. I was quite surprised at the tiny pin-head buttons on each earbud. I was also surprised (and not in a good way) at how much pressure I need to apply to each bud to operate the controls. So much so that the more I pressed each one of the buttons to figure out the controls, the more the earbuds feel like they are being pushed into my ear!! By the time I arrived at my destination and was trying to remove the earbuds my inner was sore!! This was after day 1 of use!!

It's also really confusing to figure out the controls; if I press the inside button on the right earbud the volume goes down but I have to press the outside of the left for the volume to go up. So far I have yet to figure out whether allowing ambient nose is on or off! I am constantly referring to the instruction card. This morning on my commute I was trying to figure out the ambient nose thingy again and instead of finding that feature I shut off the earbuds by mistake... at that point I just put them back in the case and put in my old earbuds.

Looked on their website how to return the item and I just found out I CAN'T RETURN THEM because I used them!! Of course I used them.... how do I know if i'm going to like the product without trying it. How STUPID OF ME for not checking the return policy before purchasing. Complete waste of money

Non existent customer service

I ordered 2 portable Bluetooth speakers and paid $23.50 for 2 day expedited shipping. Was wanting to take speakers with me on trip. When I got the tracking email from UPS it indicated Standard shipping at 8 day delivery. I will be gone by that time. Package will sit at my front door for a week. All customer service would is refer me to UPS tracing which is zero help. Will never do business with them again.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I ordered as they were supposedly available to my Canadian address in 3-5 days. Then after paying they tell me it’s in back order. I got them 3-4 weeks later, was promised a 10% discount I never got, and then returned them only to be shorted a whopping $52. On top of me paying for the return shipping.

Product didn’t pair to a simply iPhone 12.

Stay away and never order from them

Is there a -5 stars?? One is too high. Worst customer service EVER. I wish I had read the reviews here. The pair I received also had no protective seals on the air buds, O5 plus GEN 2, I could not get them to pair consistently, and they kept falling out of my ears no matter which tips I tried. I was not happy and contacted them asking for a refund and a return shipping label, which they told me they would not send and I would have to pay for shipping. The recommendation about the earbuds not fitting properly was to tell me to “clean out the air wax in my ears”!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me?
So they told me I could return them if I paid for shipping and would only get 80% back of what I paid even though I only wore them twice and I believe them to be defective and likely refurbished! I paid full price $125 for this??
I shipped ($15 my cost)them back with a tracking number, which I had to email to them, and received an email from them saying that it would be at least two weeks AFTER they get the earbuds back before I hear anything from them “depending on how busy they are!”????
Worst purchase I’ve ever made. Horrible company to deal with. Avoid at all cost. No earbuds are worth this amount of disrespect and hassle. They don’t even have a phone number where you can talk to someone on the phone rather than emailing back-and-forth for days. And most likely being sold or used defective product at full price!!!

These ear buds are expensive and are…

These ear buds are expensive and are about the same quality as a $30 pair on Amazon. But Amazon lets you return garbage. This company will not take back their $135 ear buds once you open package. I tried to return because sound quality is AWFUL!!!

I haven't even gotten mine yet. They ship with UPS and UPS is terrible.

According to the web information, they have had my package in the area since friday. It is now tuesday, with a "severe weather delay" warning now.

Never buying mifo again.

*UPDATE*

I got them! They are a great product. The case seems robust, the headphones sound better than expected. Transparent mode is a trip!

The shipping company however will prevent me from ordering any newer models of these headphones directly from Mifo.

Definitely amazon from now on.

Warning! Don't purchase on their website.

I bought their new earbuds MIFO 05 PLUS on their website. I received them and I was happy with the overall quality the first day. However, after using them for a few days, I noticed that the left earbud was defective. So I contacted them and they tried to stall, making me do the same tests twice and taking their time to respond. Then they said you can return the product and we'll exchange it..... but you need to pay for the return. I received broken products and now I need to pay more for it for their mistake. If I would have bought them on amazon.ca, I would have had no problem returning them. Then I asked for a refund and they said there's a possible 20% restocking fee. Avoid this company... if you really want their products buy it on amazon, they will protect you from them.

Customer service is like Chinese fraudster

I purchased Mifo 05 Plus directly from the Mifo website 3 months ago and now I have an apparent tiny part went loose inside the earbud when it accidentally fell off my ear (that was another issue with me that earbuds wouldn't stay fit with any size of silicon tips). Now this part is making an annoying shaking/ rolling noise inside the earbud everytime when I move. So I contacted the customer service and asked what they could do since it's still under 1 year warranty. Simply put, the customer service is NOT willing to work with me or whatsoever. I explained the issue in the very first message and their first response? "Please explain the problem so we could bring it up to the right department." Okay, I had just written a whole novel explaining the issue but sure, I broke down the problem so they could understand the issue better. Next reply from the customer service? "We would just like to know, did the earbud fall?" Yes it did! Are you guys even reading my messages? So I pushed a little bit to narrow down their response to either yes or no to fixing the earbud at the manufacturer or totally replacing for me. And what the customer service said? "We would like to know, has this has affected the earbuds' functions in any way or has this caused any issues?" YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! And they only reply once a day so it took me 5 frustrating days just to go back to the very beginning of the conversation. Mifo is a huge international brand and the service cannot be this bad after I paid almost CAN$150. Besides, I tried to call them to speak directly since email complains wouldn't go anywhere, but a shocker, they don't even have a phone number posted for us to call. I couldn't find any numbers for Mifo Canada, so there's nothing I can do but call my credit card company to file a dispute and request to launch an investigation to get a reimbursement. These guys are no different from one of those Chinese fraudulent shopping websites on Facebook. Trust me, I've been defrauded once on Facebook and it's exactly the same experience with Mifo!

O5 Plus buds... steer clear

O5 Plus buds.... Bought these from the mifo.ca website, mainly due to the customer and press reviews on there - particularly about battery life and about them being designed for sports usage and being "impossible to dislodge". The purchasing experience and delivery were good and the buds are well constructed, as is the charging case. However, there were a lot of glitches on the bluetooth connection to my Android phone wiht sound dropping in and out at first. Worse though... on the first use (after testing different sizes of the various tips that came with the product and making sure i had the tightest fit possible) one bud was dislodged during a light jog and sadly lost in some bushes.
I contacted their customer support to explain the ease with which the bud was dislodged. They offered no explanation or recompense on this. I then asked them if i could order a replacement bud. They first said yes of course... but only from the US website (i would incur shipping and conversation rate charges - but that was ok from my point of view to have a working set). When i checked the US site, there is no option to buy a replacement O5 Plus bud. I contacted them again. After multiple emails and online chat exchanges, they agreed to escalate my complaint to their management. After further chaser emails, almost a month later, they advised that their management said there is nothing they are prepared to do to. Basically, buy at your peril and be prepared to lose these and deal with glitchy sound (on android anyway!) and terrible customer service. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!

I had a great experience with Mifo

I had a great experience with Mifo, so unsure what the fuss is about. Here is my experience in detail:

Ordered the O5 Plus earbuds and received them about 3 days later in Toronto. Upon using for the first time I had a bit of confusion on pairing, but I am a bit long in the tooth as they say so not surprising. I reached out to Mifo on their website chat and was immediately assisted. They solved my problem and the earbuds are truly a marvel, perfect for my daily runs and well worth the money.

I recommend this company to anyone willing to give it a go.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

I bought a Mifo 05 directly from their Canadian online store. Received the set with protective films missing and 6 sets of varying sizes ear buds, instead of 7 sets as advertised. Contacted Customer Service who promptly explained that because they were made in China, they had to be opened and sanitised. Asked for evidence and I promptly complied with a photograph. Thereafter, everything went dark. No more replies to my subsequent emails.

I now believe I have been sold a refurbished set - hence the missing protective films and one set of buds less. I no longer believe their story about the set having to be santised because it was made in China.

Please get back to me Mifo Canada. I paid for a brand new set. Not a refurbished set. Honour your obligations to your customers.
