The fourth time that I've hired and bought equipment from Mifsuds now over a period of years. It's a two hour round trip for me to get there, but it's so worth it! Matt and his team are absolutely second to none. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, highly knowledgeable - things are priced very fairly in my opinion. What more could you want! A perfect example of an honestly run, quality, privately owned camera & equipment store. Thank you so much again Matt & team!!

Whenever I've used Mifsuds, whether it be for buying, selling or exchanging camera gear, I've always found them to be knowledgaeable, pleasant to deal with - and fair.

Found the shop when walking around Brixham, ended up only purchasing a bag but it could easily have been much more. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff, who still take the time to have a chat without forcing the sales at you. Will definitely be doing business with them again some time

Wow, excellent experience here! Lovely member of staff, made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in the door. As an enthusiastic amateur, I was nervous about not knowing exactly what I wanted, but the lovely gentleman was neither pushy nor patronising. Huge range of equipment and very good prices, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Totally recommended!

Impeccable customer service. My daughter's camera developed a fault, and without quibble, Mifsuds sent a replacement camera body to her within 24 hours. My daughter is away at university and this amazing gesture enabled her to keep on track with her film photography assignment. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

I bought a second hand canon lens from them but when I got home there was a small fault with it. Phoned them up and they said no problem please come back and we will sort it. Went back and they exchanged it for almost new one in mint condition and still in its factory bag in the box. Result, very happy. Its just a bit out of the way to get to but worth it, Also Brixham has a brilliant fish and chips shop in the harbour!!

I have been dealing with Mifsuds for over 15 years and over the time, have bought and exchanged cameras and lenses as I have upgraded.
I have found the service offered very helpful and Matt has always given me a fair price on part exchanges.

Excellent communication, agreed trade in and paid a visit to their premises in Brixham to close the deal. If you haven't been there make the effort, my wife was offered coffee while we talked cameras. Took a couple of things to sell that were surplus and was offered a good price with very prompt payment. I am a Royal Photographic Society member and a retired professional photographer. I've been seeking a used Olympus M1x body for some time but they've always been too pricey from online retailers, until Matthew at Mifsuds.com offered a close to mint, fully boxed example at a price I couldn't refuse. It was dispatched immediately through DPD and arrived next day before lunch. Perfect communications every step of the way in a very friendly and efficient manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Mifsuds as an honest and trustworthy supplier of used photographic equipment.

Without a shadow of doubt, this must be one of the best photographic dealers across the whole UK, and I should know as I have had many dealings with virtually all the ‘Big Hitters’.

A few days ago, I ordered a much sought-after, by me, a Cokin P164 Polariser Filter. Amazingly, it got delivered, FoC, before the expected date. But when I got it I had great difficulty trying to fit it on my existent Cokin ‘P’ Series Filter Holder,-- of which I had two of, having bought them from eBay,-- even after having watched a few YouTube tutorials.

So, I called Mifsuds Photographic and spoke to a very helpful gentleman, Matt. He too at first had the same difficulty trying the very same Polariser filter with a Cokin ‘P’ Series filter holder, until he tried another Cokin ‘P’ Series filter holder, and it affixed without any problems.

It then transpired that the two Cokin ‘P’ Series filter holders that I had bought from eBay which I thought were genuine Cokin-Made in France ‘P’ Series filter holders, were in fact Chinese copies made to look as the genuine article except the Cokin trademarks were obliterated. It now dawned on me I had two fakes!

But what raised the level of customer service from Matt, was that he very kindly and benevolently, arranged without me even asking, to send me that genuine Cokin Made in France ‘P’ Series Filer Holder, again free delivery. It duly got delivered today, and I was able to test that Cokin P164 polariser filter. Job done!

Well, what can I say? I only went in for a new strap for my camera bag and came out with a new lens😯 amazing friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful and even though I came out with more than I went in for they were never pushy, I would definitely recommend anyone that either wanted to buy something or even just some advice try here first I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help 👍👍

I wanted to sell my Canon 1dx mk iii after getting some quotes from other companies i contacted Mifsuds Photographic & they offered me a price which was far better than the competition .
The transaction went through very quick & smooth .
