Miller Metcalfe Surveyors Ltd provided a professional and timely service with clear communication. However, they missed structural issues during a survey, resulting in costly repairs of £4,500. While the report was detailed and the surveyor helpful, the oversight dampened the overall experience. Their responsiveness was appreciated, though I'd recommend caution regarding thoroughness in detecting hidden problems.

Everyone is happy for a survey until they find something wrong, they surveyed a property I brought and failed to notice it was missing lintels on the windows, which resulted in a expensive fix. A cost of £4500 to correct

Between the first valuation and desktop valuation approximately 3 months later, my property was valued at an extra £15K. This meant I was going to repay a help to buy loan at 25% interest in just 5 years. I eventually had to pay another surveyor as my challenge of not agreeing with the valuation was not accepted. The new surveyor valued the property only £5K more than original which I accept as a true reflection of the market value at the time.

Provided wrong information about the parts of the property they would inspect.
The inspector was late on the day of inspection and did not review an important area within the property that was promised to be viewed.
After we made a claim in regards, it took weeks until they still did not admit the mistake, while offered a negligible refund.
Many phone calls and e-mails, many stressful moments in us willing to buy a property. Very sad.
