I needed the survey done quickly and was initially told earliest available was for 7 days later. I asked if they would be able to help to bring this earlier (in the hope we can move in before Christmas) and they were able to move things around to only 2 days later! Prompt effective service, good verbal debrief and PDF version of report. However to date no hard copy of the report received.

Clear views - obviously an experienced surveyor and put my mind at rest regarding a couple of faults I have seen.

I feel my review needs to be out there now. Currently in a huge legal case with this company. 2 separate surveyors from Miller Metcalfe got the construction of our house wrong and the ramifications were massive. The whole article will be released in journals soon, but for now people on here need to know that you should not use this company. 1 year down the line and the case continues.....avoid!

I found yourselves more personal and helpful as we verbally discussed which survey suited my needs. Plus my surveyor Geoff White called me to discuss some matters of relevance as well as being able to read my report. I found Miller Metcalfe extremely professional in their approach to our survey, it was clearly set out highlighting in a traffic signal rating of problems, which was very clear and easy to understand. They were very prompt on doing the survey and getting back to us too. It was a fair price and I would thoroughly recommend using them to anyone.

Clearly written, comprehensive and detailed, informative and very useful report.

Arranging the survey was very easy and the telephone service people were very helpful.
The price was excellent value for money.
The homebuyer report was much more thorough than I expected. The surveyor discovered some issues with the property and gave us a more realistic valuation. The sellers were not too happy with this but it did eventually allow us to renegotiate the asking price downwards.
I was able to speak with the surveyor once we had the report to clarify a couple of technical details.
Also the report will be very useful once we have moved as it details what should be done to maintain the house in good order.
The report also included a rebuilding cost estimate, which we can use when buying buildings insurance.
