Keep away from this company at all costs!
I wouldn’t give any stars but it forces you to. Shocking company that have exploited a blind elderly man who has dementia. Sent him router for broadband! Over the past year they have had hundreds of pounds off him. It wasn’t until I got Power of Attorney I realised the extent of the costs. You can’t call them as it costs a fortune. I have messaged and was told someone would get back to me and no call. They tried to call my Dad despite me telling them his condition. I have cancelled the direct debit to force their hand. From other reviews looks like we won’t get a refund!!! Don’t know how they sleep at night.
I gave the details but still not heard from you ! Over a 1000 pounds in phone charges to a vulnerable blind man with dementia beyond shocking!!

Eventually got the fault resolved.
I need to commend Darren from Tech support who did go above and beyond to try and support the fault situation with my mums phone line. Unfortunately I am not able to say the same about the online chat. Although very polite, failed several times to feed vital info. back to me (as my mum had no phone line or capacity to report the vault herself).
Main issue is that like many other "providers", they rely on BT open reach engineers to solve faults and in my mum's case, they were blatantly lying stating she was refusing then entry, only after Darren challenged them, did they admit that they had never actually attempted to attend, just tried to fix remotely time and time again!
Problem I have is that the online chat either choose not to tell me this, or did not have access to the information.
It is understandable that 3rd party Providers are relying on the service of BT to provides the phone lines, but ultimately accountability for the phone service lies with Money saver, as they are who my mum pays the bill to.

I found that I could not dial N America when my line was 'upgraded'. I phoned 3 times to complain but nothing happened. I have close relatives in Canada and wish to keep in touch with them particularly at the present time. It is rude to cowboys to liken MST to them..

Trying to pay and have it acknowledged
YET AGAIN you have added the previous amounts to my bill when I HAVE PAID BY DIRECT BANK TRANSFER of £150.35 on 28th January and I have also recently paid February's bill of £27.05 on 5th March. I have previously tried to pay by cheque but because you couldn't be bothered to cash them I had to cancel them after at least a month and pay by electronic bank transfer. You have BEEN INFORMED BY ME AND BT THAT THEY ARE MY NEW PROVIDER AS OF 5TH FEBRUARY 2020 SO THIS IS THE LAST BILL WHICH I HAVE PAID. yOU REPLIED TO MY LAST TWO REVIEWS THAT YOU WOULD CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER AND ALSO THAT YOU WOULD ASK SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM YOU BY LETTER OR TELEPHONE. YOUR BUSINESS IS A JOKE!! customer service is NIL. PLEASE GET YOUR FINGER OUT AND WRITE TO ME WITH A WRITTEN APOLOGY AND CONFIRM THAT I HAVE PAID, OWE NOTHING, AND THAT I WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY FURTHER BILLS FROM YOU!!!! I HAVE CONTACTED THE OMBUDSMAN IN SHEER DESPERATION!MSR42454

Quickly sorted my problem
My internet went down on Saturday, I was not at home Monday as I was looking after my Grandchildren but phoned Moneysaver Telecom anyway and spoke to Darren. He raised the paperwork there and then, whilst I was still on the phone. By the time I got home again the Internet was working. Darren then telephoned me on Tuesday to explain what the fault was. More than happy the way it was all dealt with.

We recently completed an order to change from adsl to broadband and was having problems getting the router to connect , I contacted money saver telecom and was passed onto Darren readman who tried to help but still got problems with getting the password in , I rang back the next day to try and sort and spoke to Daniel who also tried unsuccessfully , , finally tried again this morning and Darren managed to get it going . Much thanks to both Darren and Daniel for the time and effort they both put in and success in getting me connected . Really appreciate the fact that we got it going

shocking company
Avoid at all costs target elderly and vulnerable customers. Talked my 95 year old aunty who has dementia and Parkinson’s into changing to them she didn’t understand what she was doing and didn’t realise she was no longer paying by direct debit. They cut off her phone line just before Christmas without warning which was very concerning as she has a personal alarm linked to the phone. Luckily I managed to get her connected again quickly via BT might be more expensive but couldn’t fault the customer service they provided. Having read other reviews seems they are notoriously bad. Sad that people can do this to vulnerable people how do they sleep at night. Hope it doesn’t happen to any of their relatives!!!! And no I haven’t discussed anything or had anything resolved with them despite their response to my review on here saying they had.

appalling service
appalling service, left my 81 year old mother without a landline for a month and when they fixed the line they had changed her number. they then gave her 3 dates by which they'd fix the issue missing every one without an explanation (we did all the chasing).
My mum is 81, they couldn't care less, no priority no customer service.
Avoid!
edit - Months down the line, despite their pitiful attempt to look good on trustpilot, I am still awaiting communication that I requested in February (a deadlock letter and response to a complain about how they handled my first complaint when I said I was NOT happy with their resolution) - I will be reporting this sham of a company to the ombudsman

I was amazed to read some of these…
I was amazed to read some of these reviews. I have been a customer of MST for several years now, and on the odd occasions when I have had problems with my phone they have always dealt with it speedily and efficiently. The customer service operatives have always been unfailingly polite and helpful. I did have some problems contacting them when my line was down around Christmas time, but concluded this was probably due to their having a reduced staff over the holiday period. When I did get through the problem was soon resolved. I have phoned them this morning regarding my missing 1571 service, got through to an operative straight away and the issue was resolved within half an hour of my call (they had promised it within four hours). In addition I am paying considerably less for my landline service than I previously was with BT. I do not have a broadband contract with this company, so I cannot comment on that, but I am more than satisfied with the service I have received from this company. Worst phone company ever
Worst phone company ever! My Mum was with this company for over 4 years then all of a sudden she was given a different phone number when we enquired for her - as she only had outgoing calls - we were told “oh we rare changing providers and will email the new company and get this sorted” that was 3 weeks ago - 2 un answered and numerous unanswered phone calls later, nothing has happened apart from the fact my 82 year old mother now has no phone at all!! We have now moved her to BT and it is cheaper that Moneysaver were in the first place

Avoid this Company - Absolutely Awful Service
Absolutely awful service provided to my 80 year old Dad. He has now transferred to another provider but continues to receive bills. Service was transferred on 6th November yet they billed him at the end of November for a full month followed by a further bill at the end of December for the full month (fortunately we had cancelled the Direct Debit). We tried many times to contact since then but there is never an answer on the phone. The recent pattern of reviews appears to say it all - Avoid this company at all costs

Similar issues
It seems there is a pattern emerging here. My elderly parents rely on their phone line and it stopped working on 18th December. It took until 31st December for MoneySaver to assign a temporary number and as of this morning their original number has not yet been reassigned back to them. I have also had similar difficulty in contacting customer services on the 0333 200 0802 number. A lot of the time it just rings out. To be fair when I have manged to talk to someone they have been polite and understanding but not really very effectual in actually resolving the issue. Openreach are being blamed for the delay and I don't know enough about what may be happening behind the scenes to say otherwise. Also, at no point has anybody responded to the comment form on the website or been in touch to let either mum or me know what is happening. Not exactly first class service

Parents phone line has been out of service for weeks.
My elderly parents phone line has been out of service for several weeks Trying to contact this company to resolve any issues is a complete joke.
Their landline eventually started working on Saturday however their number they have had for years has now changed and they do not have an answering service anymore. Once again they have tried contacting the company on the 0333 200 0802 number but no one answers and eventually the line goes dead. I have emailed on their behalf several times with no response.
As per Bayliffe's review I too am seeking advise from a professional body as to the situation and would encourage other potential customers to stay clear!

Cancelled contract on 26th August and still receiving bills!!
I have tried to get in touch with this company for numerous months now as I cancelled my parents contract on the 26th August but they keep sending them bills. I have cancelled the direct debit, emailed you and also tried for numerous months to make contact with you via telephone but still no response. My parents are now with another internet provider which have provided them with an excellent service. The new provider also tried to contact them but there was no response as They wanted to transfer my existing telephone number They have had for years and again no response either. My parents are elderly and needed a service that was going to be reliable, you have not proven to do this. I think this is a joke of a company and going by the reviews on here I am not the only person who has had a bad experience with them.

Appalling Telephone Company
I am appalled with this company. Managed to convince my 71 year old mum to sign up. Phone not been working since 20th December 2019. It is imperative that my parents have a landline, as my 80 year old dad has dementia and his lifeline is connected to the landline. As no phoneline, no lifeline either. ABSOLUTE DISGRACEFUL!! Left message for callback, nothing. Sent an email to faults department - nothing. Made many phonecalls over several days, Husband FINALLY managed to get through on 30th December to someone called Darren, (not sure this was his real name!) He said "We have been doing updates and that basically some lines appear to have ceased, however they are still live. We have no idea which lines have been affected and only know when you telephone us." I mean seriously, this is so wrong on so many levels, let alone phone when you don't have a phone-line?!? My husband informed Darren that we had cancelled the DD in order to get contact, his response "Oh don't worry about that"
He said he would give us high priority and call us back with an update after 24 hours, Its now the 3rd January 2020, nothing! STILL NO PHONELINE. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Dreadful service for elderly customers
My elderly parents are with moneysaver telecom. Their land-line is essential as both have health problems. Their phone stopped working 23 December and we have tried calling and sent emails and contact us form and nothing. More worrying is that the company took payment for having the land-line and they've not had it. Also the message of the phone not taking incoming has changed to the call being ended. So anyone medical trying to get my parents can't. Its now costing them a fortune as they had to get a mobile. Really feel like they have been conned.
An update on this after a few weeks we did get through and it was a fault. After being given a new number it was then reverted back to their old number. So my parents had people who couldn't contact them. As for the complaint being resolved it hasn't been as instead of getting a refund my parents have been charged. They've tried to call and have left a message. Theyve had no call back. So I've updated this review as I hope they will contact them and sort it out. The complaint hasn't been resolved. Updated 3.4.2020.

It would appear many people are having the same issue as my father, 83, with the line being off and no contact possible via their contact details. What is going on???
I will be cancelling all payments and moving companies, this is disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour. Taking money from older clientele with no return of service.
