I had my Mercedes serviced last week and I was amazed at how much time they spent on it. Makes me wonder if Mercedes Benz service Center In Shirley ever did any work on my car when I had 3 years service contract with them. Because they used to finish service within an hour,while Motorser took almost a whole day. Great service. Thanks.

Outstanding car servicing centre

I recently had my car serviced and underwent an MOT test at this fantastic car servicing and MOT test centre, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, expertise, and outstanding customer service.

First and foremost, scheduling an appointment was a breeze. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure to find a convenient time for me. When I arrived at the centre, I was greeted by a welcoming team who immediately made me feel at ease.

MotorServ UK

I am a medical professional, and have worked with MotorServ UK, specifically with Kam and Ahsan for a while now. They have suffered a downward spiral on the sales business due to market conditions, however have continued to work hard daily to resolve everything, and I know from their reputation and status in the community, that they will come good for all involved. My Daughter sold her car many months ago with MotorServ UK, and we had a finance deal to settle and the car needed to be sold on and refinanced for a new buyer. Whilst things were delayed by lenders and the market, they worked through the deal, managed to get everything paid and done, and we are now all clear and concluded. The market is very tough right now, and whilst many are going out of business and not fulfilling all their required obligations, I for one knew and trusted Kam and Ahsan would come through, and would get this finalised. I would urge others to be supportive and to give them time and space, and everything will be concluded and sorted out successfully. Joining groups and talking nonsense will just lead to you forcing them out of business, jobs will be lost and no one will get paid fully - so think before you act. I actually was quite apprehensive initially reading all the negatives about this company. But we many times wondered how they can be a fraud company when they are acknowledging the deal, paying its monthly instalments and whenever I called, always replied saying the problem would be sorted soon which they did.
Its human nature to be the way many are who have written on this portal but realise all these negative reports will make the company go bust.Just deal with them gently, respectfully and be patient. Kam with his stature will not let anyone down.
I know some of you will make this out to be a coaxed publicity to rectify damage - believe me its my own. We are happy with the way Motorserve Solihull dealt with us and We are sure everyone will be too, soon."

Booked in for my annual service and…

Booked in for my annual service and MOT, have always been to main dealers however due to my car being slightly older and the main dealers quoting an astronomical amount i decided upon using Motorserv upon recommendation from a golf buddy, fantastic alternative to main dealers at a much easier to swallow price, would highly recommended

Unfortunately I have a list of issues…

Unfortunately I have a list of issues we've had with this company since first bringing in our car over a year ago now, engine management light coming on and car going into limp mode, prior to the normal time you would change the timing belt I'm not a mechanic but I've done my best here. Motorserve carried out the following: 1. New timing installed Sept 2022. Issue returned within 1 month. 2. New valve installed. Issue returned within a month over the Christmas holiday, called them up but no fault code was read, and could do nothing, told me I imagined it or stalled the engine. 3. Fault code finally appeared, motorserve replaced timing belt sensors, unfortunately they lost my lock nutt during this process, either they lost it when the car previously came to them or this time around, I don't know, but it hadn't had any work done anywhere else. They rang us up and said they could do the work without taking the wheel off. The fault returned as soon as I drove it out of the garage. In addition they destroyed my driver side wheel in the process and sent the car back to me hoping I wouldn't notice. I returned the car to the 3 times before they finally fixed it. On the third time, they broke my key, I left them with a working key that I drove there with. They have refused to fix the key, and suggested it is somehow our fault or the falut of the key. They did agree to fix the key but have not done so despite us leaving it with them for more than a month I have now retreived my broken key from them and will have to pay to have it fixed. I have wasted so much of my time and money with this company I cannot spend any more time hassling them and I will never do business with them again. In future motorserve need to do the following. 1. Immidiately admit to any damage done and understand what is required to fix it, instead of getting the customer to return it to them 3 times. 2. Actually fix any damage done during works, this hasn't been done for the key while they did eventually repair the wheel. 3. if an issue is with software they need to correctly identify this and advise that the car should be taken to the dealer to have a software issue fixed, rather than charging for multiple items totalling thousands of pounds that do not fix the problem. 4. I am nervous to write this review based on some of the agressive responses I've seen from motorserve in the past, doing it anyway because I feel this might help others. So my 4th point is that motorserve need to take on board constructive criticsum and respond accordingly instead of with an agressive narrative. I am a private individual not a competing garage and provided my reg plate number so motorserve can look up the history in this case, though I would be surprised if the individuals involved have left evidence of the full story on the system.

Daylight robbery

After being contacted by Motorserv, they sold my vehicle the end of March 2023. As of today I have received less than 10% of the total amount owed to me.
I have had some contact with the director and sales manager but it’s all empty promises and excuses about finance clawbacks and pending loans.
Every week I see new reviews from people in the same situation as myself. It is clear that they are approaching people with the full understanding that they cannot or will not pay them. I see no difference than if they were to steel a car off someone’s drive!
I am in contact with trading standards and have also taken legal action. There seems to be very little help out there other than taking these routes.
I hope nobody else is scammed by these conmen!

I’ve been using Motorserv for several years to do the MOTs on my car and my wife’s car. I’ve never had any issues, both cars have sailed through and the cost of £15 was an absolute bargain.

6 months and still awaiting full payment on my late father’s car

I took my mother to Motorserv to sell Dad’s car after he died. It was sold mid March and the process was slick. They promised 5 day payment terms in contract. After that time passed the sinking feeling set in. I went into the offices reduced to tears and they eventually paid half the money. Despite numerous emails, excuses and broken promises Mum has never received the remainder and we have had to resort to a court claim which is a long process as they well know. I’ll leave readers to make their own minds up about Motorserv. For us, they have made a devastating time in our lives even more traumatic. It feels like they used my deceased father’s car to bankroll their business - at best it’s irresponsible, at worst cruel. They’ve paid others since, so why not settle up and pay my mum? That’s all I have to say on this. I felt I should let people know the truth of what’s going on with this ‘award-winning’ company who place an emphasis on how much they care for their community, as reviews from others sharing the same experience have been disappearing one by one.

No Payment

After advertising my car on AutoTrader, I was contacted by Motorserv who offered to sell the vehicle on my behalf for what I considered to be a reasonable commission.

The car sold quickly and payment was supposed to follow within 14 days, as per the contract. The money was due in March but, to date, I haven't received anything.

Don’t sell your car with them!!!

Do not believe they will pay you within 14 days after sale of your vehicle.

I was approached by MotorServ through Auto Trader to sell my car. Despite having sold the car over a month ago, I have not received any payment from them. Every time I enquire about the payment, I am given false assurances and excuses, which suggest that company is experiencing financial difficulties.

Also, everytime you contact them they will tell you your money has been detected from the review you left online.

Amazing Bloke

I would just like to say i was in tears when my car broke down near robin hood island and this Mechanic he said he worked at MotorServ name of T, i dont don't know if that is his full name but he reassured me that everything will be okay and had a look at my car luckily for me he had tools to hand and got me going.
i was over the moon tried to give him something for his help but would not take anything so i would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for not just driving past like the others did 🥰

SCAM

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I strongly urge you not to sell a car through this company. This is basically a scam! What they do is offer to sell your car then once sold, the problems start. They will give you every excuse under the sun (once you have spent a week or so being told that there's no one available to speak on the phone due to their call screening. I actually only got through because after a week of trying I called on a different number) for why they can't release the money to you. They currently owe me nearly £10,000 which I am now having to go down a legal route to recover and I am in conversation with multiple other people that are in the same position. We have all been given the same excuses.... Money troubles within the company e.t.c and they will try to push you into accepting a payment plan. They are not allowed to do this as after speaking to the financial ombudsman, they are not legally allowed to hold or control anybodies money and therefore aren't legally allowed to offer a payment plan. I was told that the problems they are having (not that they should be my issue anyway) were unforeseen however after finding others in the same position through social media, it turns out some of them had this same thing happen to them back in December/ January. Motorserv are knowingly entering into agreements with people that they have no intention of upholding in order to get you to sell through them. I was told in these exact words "but we have upheld our obligation of selling your car, we have just fallen short on the payment to you"... As if that is an acceptable thing to say. The second you agree to sell through motorserv you are agreeing to a constant battle to try and get your money! It's not worth it, take the extra time and sell yourself.
If this is currently happening to you and like myself, you have been keeping an eye on reviews e.t.c to see what new ones are popping up. Feel free to get in touch. There are quite a few of us and you aren't on your own. If you are reading this as a potential new customer for motorserv then please do yourself a favour and do not give them your vehicle. You will regret it.

BMW 330E

I was in the market for an upgrade and come across a BMW 330e on autotrader. I contacted on the Friday morning and arranged a viewing for the Saturday. After arriving I gave the car a good look around and noticed a few things that needed doing and mentioned them to Bart. We took the car out for a spin and immediately fell in love with it. I agreed to purchase on condition of the things we had discussed being done. Bart was a good host, offering drinks/chocolate bars.

I had a car to part exchange but the price offered was a little low, but understandable as they need to make their profit. I sold my car on autotrader for £1200 more than the part ex offered.

After a week or so the car was ready to collect. The alloy wheels had been refurbished and resprayed and we arranged for a small dent to be repaired - you would not know it was there now. A new MOT was put on and the car was serviced. I drove away without the charging cable unknowingly as it had been taken out of the vehicle when it was being valeted and not placed back in the boot. I contacted Bart and he arranged for the cable to be sent via Royal Mail and I received it a few days later. The car is lovely and drives like new, has low milage and is fuel efficient. I am extremely happy with the service provided and would 100% consider Motorserv UK when I next look to purchase my next vehicle.

Still waiting to receive my money

After putting my car on auto trader, i was approached by mortorserv, and what they suggested was good.. they sell my car for me at more than I’d get on autotrader as they can provide finance. And that has almost been achieved. I say 'almost', because having sold the car, I’m still waiting to receive the money.
If I got money within the 1-14 days in the contract I’d probably give 4 stars.. taking one off for sitting in a cold eating room for almost 2 hours. But given that I had zero communication to say I would not receive any money within the 14 days (I simply had to wait and find out), and the fact I'm still waiting for the money way, way, waaay beyond the 14 days, it has to be 1 star

Do not trust this company

I wasn’t going to write a review for Motorsev as I was glad to forget about them but they keep sending me marketing emails and when I went to unsubscribe I found they had changed my name to Karen on the system- so I suppose I should live up to the name they have given me and leave a bad review too 🤣

I used motorserv to sell my car - the actual selling process was good and I could always get through to the salesman who was dealing with it all. They got the car sold fairly quickly and easily.

HOWEVER actually receiving the funds for the vehicle was a near impossible task. I was told it usually takes 3-5 working days to receive them which was no problem.

After this time, I hadn’t heard anything so I tried contacting motorserv. I was told there was no one to help me as both people were on holiday so I waited a couple of weeks for them to return.

On their return I still had not received any money (they sold the car for around £25,000 so it wasn’t something I could just brush under the carpet)! I called and emailed and no one ever got back to me.

Over a month had passed and I was still 25K down! My car finance was still being taken so it was costing me more money. The DVLA had even refunded me my tax back and my insurance had refunded too and I couldn’t even get an email or call from Motorserv.

After endless phone calls and emails, I advised motorserv that I would have to report the car stolen if I didn’t receive the payment. Miraculously, within a few days of this they FINALLY transferred the money over.

Really is a shame as the initial selling process was simple. I have since had a few people ask for recommendations but I have had to steer them well away from Motorserv and would suggest anyone else does the same! Their unprofessional is just highlighted in the fact they changed my name on their system too!

Excellent service with Great Friendly Communication

I had my Mercedes serviced from MotorServ Solihull. I was seen to by Irfan who came across as friendly, honest and very knowledgeable. The advice given felt as if they they had my best interests at heart.

It's been nearly 6 months now and my car is still purring along nicely, I haven't had any issues since. I've just swapped to an Audi A6 S Line and will definitely be getting it serviced from Irfan and his team.

If you're looking for a high quality service at a competitive price then I'd highly recommend this garage.
