My Mountfield sp53 hit some tough shrub…
My Mountfield sp53 hit some tough shrub while mowing and the bolt holding the blade to the alloy bush SHEARED OFF inside the drive assembly with the blade flying off and narrowly missing my leg .
This is NOT supposed to happen - the light alloy bush is designed to fail BUT it DID NOT this time. My £400 pound mower is DEAD . PLEASE HELP !

Tried to contact customer services on Friday 26th June and automated message said I was 13th in queue. Same message said I was 13th 25 minutes later. Clearly only 1 member of staff monitoring calls!
Decided to use online form they provide. Stated would get a response within 24 hours. 4 days later nothing. Shocking customer service Mountfield. More interested in profit and not service to the people who pay your wages
