This isn't a removal company, it's basically a call centre where the clearly coked up sales people give the impression of being a real removal company , smooth talking you with all the latest techniques in psychological manipulation and persuasion. After the initial charade where they take an inventory, encouraging you to skip over various details so they can add insane mark ups after you've signed up - £180 to dismantle a kitchen table for example - , they will simply find a local man with van service and hire them, something you can do yourself for 10% of the price.

When our two men with a van turned up they didn't have an inventory so those times I phoned up to add items and they tried to charge £80 were just nonsense, just another way of squeezing as much money as they can out of you, they were good enough to take as much as they could until the van was full. They were decent enough, for a simple man with van service, but clearly not professional as several walls in both properties were damaged due to their inexperience, and the floor of the van was filthy, leaving massive black stains on the mattresses and beds.

This company won't last, but they won't be particularly bothered, it's a fly by night operation and the gangsters behind it will pop up in some other industry with another brain fart of a plan on how to completely undermine and misrepresent an industry in pursuit of profit at any cost.

I used Move24 as I hadn't moved house before and didn't know what to look for. The companies who contacted me as a result of this decision were courteous and never pushy and the team I chose were awesome on the day. The Move24 team were helpful and efficient and the whole process made life so much easier. Couldn't recommend it any more.

Easy to use website. Movers were professional and fantastic. Handled everything with care.

Very simple from quotation through to the move date. Customer Services were very helpful in adding items days before pickup and with no extra cost. The removal team were fantastic they worked quickly and were very careful with our belongings. When the removal men were unloading it was clear our much loved sofa would not go up the stairs of our town house. The removal men then safely lifted the sofa one floor via a balcony with no damage to sofa or balcony. They did this without charge. I highly recommend M24 and will use again.

Totally professional in customer care and the guys who moved me went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend Move24.

Move 24 were an excellent price, turned up on time, had us moved into our new house with no problems.

my house move mid October was made a very pleasant experience with this company. I was initially worried that their estimation of how big a van I would need (3 bed place) was insufficient but on the day everything fit perfectly and we even had a little room left.
the moving boxes were supplied 2 weeks early and actually the bubble wrap was more than we needed so that was great.
given that I moved from London to Wales this was a big move but not only were the movers really nice and helpful but also arrived well before the estimated delivery time and helped unload all boxes into the right rooms and it were polite with good English.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing to move home and will definitely use them again to move in the future.

The staff were very helpful and kind, when I asked to bring the date forward by two month the staff were very helpful and kind and sorted it all out for me. I had to sort flights for my animals so they worked around that which took the weight off of me. The removal men were great very efficient both in the UK and in Bulgaria. I would have no problem telling people about your company.

The full process ran very smooth the only hiccup was that it wasn't clear that the final half of the payment wouldn't be taken automatically and I was being chased for it with the added stress of just moving to a new home. I would suggest automating that part of the process to help reduce load on your team along with making my life easier. Other than that the removal men were excellent and took great care.

it was a good price. it was quick service, same day delivery.

Setting up the move was comparatively easy both filling in details on-line and also with phone calls. An ambiguity was that we were granted a window of about a week in order to finalise the actual date of moving but on the information received by email it looked as if we were moving out on one day and moving in one week later. Phone calls cleared this up.

The removal men arrived later than expected (but they had traveled from Brixton to Suffolk) with a van that appeared to be too small. However, the men were superb. There was excellent team work, they managed to pack an incredible amount into a small space in the van, they were thorough and logical in the way the organised the loading and unloading of furniture and completed the task in 2 very efficient journeys. I cannot speak too highly of them. We were able to sit down to a meal in our relatively tidy new home at 6pm that evening. There were no breakages or damage of any sort. They were very reassuring throughout the day. Very highly recommended!

So, with the proviso that one makes sure all details of the proposed move are entered as accurately as possible to avoid any confusion I would have no hesitation in recommending Move24. Our thanks to those who made a potentially stressful day a complete success.

When they call to see you the services Move24 will sound like the most honest company and tell you all things you want to hear, but only when you have booked and paid the deposit the companies horrible and disgusting treatment of their customers will be exhibited.

When booking I was told that I can additional stuff to the move at the agreed cost as long as it was not something really really huge and would need a bigger vehicle.

But when I called in a week later to add a few additional boxes, they immediately said this needs a much bigger vehicle and I will incur a huge cost to do this. When I enquired about the cost, they said they can only tell me after a while.

Nearly even after 10-12 hrs of wait, they were still not able to give me a final figure. At this point I asked for a cancellation. This is when they threw the bomb - When selling they said I will loose just my deposit if I cancelled. But now they tell me I need to pay 50% of the amount. . So 600 final amount, I paid 200 deposit. I now need to pay another 100 just because I'm cancelling it.

But it gets worse. They finally call me 5 days after cancelling, that too after me repeatedly asking them to confirm cancellation. Now they tell me I need to pay a little more than 50%, because apparently I have to still pay for cancellation of the insurance - even though the move is not going ahead. I'm pretty sure this is illegal what they are doing, but I really have no time to fight with them now, as I'm already under so much stress with the move.

Please note, you have to wait for 20-30 minutes each time you call their call centre for help after you have already signed up with them.

Their call centre agents are like robots, they will not empathise with you, keep repeating what is in the screen and are absolutely useless.

If you want a lot of stress and deal with a company that will definitely look to rip you off your hard earned money wherever they can, then I certainly recommend Move24 for your move. All the best!!!

I'm pretty sure all the postive reviews here are written by their own staff. if they were a decent company, running a decent business they will get back to me with a refund of my money.

A brilliant move, great value for money and good communication from Move 24 and the removal partner in Europe.

I have paid a small fortune to what I thought it was a moving company. They are no more than a call centre that then sub contracts man &Van to do the move. I have paid for boxes and packing the contents of the kitchen. When 2 guys in the van got there, they didn't know they were supposed to bring the boxes or to pack the kitchen! The disassembly of bed and desk was done with a hand screw driver and they had no where to put the screws that they were taking. This is absolutely unacceptable and this company is not cheap. Also, they NEVER reply to the emails you sent. You have to call all the time. Despite what I was informed that I could change the items to be transported, I qasnt informed that decreasing the amount of services would not cause a decrease/adjustment of the quote however if you add items, you will pay more. Unacceptable service. Stay well away from them.

I had the experience of booking my move with Move24 a few months ago. first of all, no one from the organization visits your home to estimate the size of the move. you are expected to tell them if it's one container or two. How do you expect a homeowner to guess that? Second, they sent thru unqualified people (ours was a butcher by profession) to pack our goods with no wrapping material and inappropriate sized vehicles. They held us to ransom on the day of the move to sign all kinds of paperwork to agree that the guesstimates were done over the phone were not right and then they charged our Credit card for twice the amount without our consent, with no itemized bill and proper explanation. Also, our expensive furniture was not reassembled properly and we had to spend more money to get someone to fix it.
Resolving this dispute was another beast to tame as their claims team is based out of some small shop in east Europe 2 phone lines with very little manpower.
This experience has left a very bad taste and I would rather book a local Packer and mover at twice the price. At least I would get the service and would know exactly what I am paying for.

I recently used Move24 for the 2nd time in the space of 12 months and they were again FANTASTIC.

The sales team were easy to speak to and the whole process was explained well.

The team that came to do the move were really quick (1 hr 30 mins - including a 45 minute drive) to pack up and then unload at the other end. They were really friendly and made sure we were happy with what they were doing. They treated our things with care as you'd expect.

Can't recommend highly enough based off my two experiences.

Awful service. Without coming to see the house contents they took all the details over the phone and therefore got many aspects wrong. They didnt bring the right size vehicle for our move and we had to hire an extra in the day. Only 2 men came to move our 3 bed house, resulting in myself, my husband, my mother and a friend having to help. They didn't write down the American fridge freezer, the 2 single beds that needed dismantling and putting back together and various other items. When we complained they didn't listen and took the MONEY OUT OF OUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT ASKING. We have NOT received any discount or refund at all and they even tried charging us extra for the so called 'additional items'!! Dreadful company and no one wanted to take any responsibility they blamed it on us. They also didn't want to give us a phone number or contact for head office to complain, saying there were not allowed to give this!!! Awful, awful, awful, DO NOT USE!
