I visited Motor spares direct in coalville this morning and I cannot praise their assistance enough, to say they went above and beyond is an understatement.
My car had failed its MOT on cloudy headlights and they came up with a makeshift idea to get it passed and it worked!! Thank you to the team and you will have my loyalty from now on.

I visited the Royston branch pretty flustered and stressed, and spoke with Josh who could not have been more helpful! My issue with a broken car key was dealt with immediately and fixed within the hour. Josh was really friendly and gave me advice on how to avoid the issue I had happening again. Thank you!

Don't normally use this factors, but after getting now joy from other factors in the area, i gave them a try, I dealt with a young lady called Faith, she said it's not something we stock or would normally do but let me do a search, within a few moments she had located an image of the item I'm after & part number, she went above & beyond to source this part where no other factor even looked, will definitely be using again without a doubt, Faith if you read this thank you so much for all your effort really appreciated & your smile made it even more worthwhile!

Tim at the Bicester branch went out of his way to help get the part I needed and delivered to me in exceptional time.

Sold car keys to a customer -
The key was crap didn’t last a week

Went back with another key and same again!
Key lasted a week again!

1 coil spring . 60 pound. Wow. Same estate napa 33 pound. No point going again

Went to the Normanton Branch for a car battery, and was looked after well by the branch, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped me out.

Then i found MPD and got the parts and have to say the level of knowledge of the sales team is amazing plus felt like a valued customer as soon as i walked in no messing about got my parts quickly and very happy with the price . The whole team at Normanton branch have always been excellent and polite i will always use them in the future highly recommend for all parts !!!!!!

I’ve been in the motor trade some 40 years now and met loads of different types of staff, some can’t be bothered and some always go the extra mile, well the guys at the Driffield branch are certainly the ones that go the extra mile, I needed some locking wheel bolts urgently so I called into the branch and they checked on there computer and also went through all the stock to try and help me with this problem, and because the car was one of those in between years jobs it wasn’t fully conclusive which ones it should have on, but with this guy’s willingness to help we eventually got some that would fit mine, now that’s what I call first class service, thanks guys I will definitely be back again.

So, rang these guys for a price for an air conditioning condenser, was quoted a price, I rang my customer and told them how much it was. 5 minutes after telling the customer the price, these guys rang back and said ‘really sorry but the price quoted does not include a £12 plus vat carrier charge and they had already asked the manager to waive the charge but I had no option if I wanted to buy it other than to pay the extra. SO MPD YOU NOW HAVE CONTROL OF MY PROFITABILITY AND SEEMINGLY YOU DO NOT CARE. THE BRANCH MANAGER IS NOT INTERESTED.

Fantastic, called them to see if they had a battery in stock, yes they did, collected it within 20mins. Also they fitted a rear window wiper for free! Will definitely use again. First class service

Bought a Platinum battery from the Grimsby Branch. After 27 months the battery started to fail.
Contacted them regarding the issue, they said, only has a 2 year warranty. (The battery new cost £140) .
Contacted the Importers, they said ALL there stop/start batteries carry a 3 year warranty but refused to get involved as the warranty is given to the company they sell too.
Several weeks later the battery totally failed. Contacted the branch again and spoke to the manager. I said I spoken to the distributers who told me they sell them with 3 year warranty.
The manager at Grimsby admitted
Motor Parts had had problems with these batteries and do not deal with the company now. He added that some outlets still carry a stock and are only giving a years warranty. £140 for 1 years use!!!!! Deceitful they don't even tell you.
I said to the manager I believed when bought, the battery had 3 years warranty, if I had know at the time would not have bought it, instead I would have gone elsewhere and purchased one with a 5 year warranty.
He laughed and again said their is nothing he was prepared to do, adding he would sell me a different make at £150 adding if I didn't like it I can go to trading standards. At that point he put the phone down.
How ignorant.

Sittingbourne branch sold me the wrong oil filter, refused to exchange or refund, because the box had a bit of oil on it, had they done there job properly in the first place........

Used loads of times but won’tues again very rude staff Uxbridge branch

The parts are good but the website is terrible, for me it doesn’t see,moors properly and takes an age to load anything
