I went here today because Halfords in Colchester was closed. Glad I did as the same parts at MPD were a lot cheaper. Also MPD Colchester went the extra mile to be helpful. I was struggling with a bulb and Jason Harrington spared a moment to help and the store also. I would go there again.

Very disappointed.. called up as self isolating and ask if they could do me a massive favour and deliver. I live really close. 0.9 miles to be exact which is 5mins down the road. I thought I'd use a local business. However they wont. I appreciate you cant deliver all over the sw. But 0.9 miles come on .. disappointing and will not use in future. Looks like I will have to spend my cash online. Thanks for nothing

Stay clear. The managers are absolutely awful and have no idea how to treat staff, or people for that matter. The drivers and the current telephone lad and assistant manager at dewsbury are wonderful, the manager is another story. Treat their staff like crap and slag them off behind their back. Sack people for offences that don’t even apply to that person. Power gone to his head. Don’t bother.

Avoid at all costs horrible people to work for. Get treated like slaves for minimum wage hated every second I was there. Employ the most stupidest people to work with and there parts are the worst crappy quality ever. If your a garage don’t use these people

i gave these guys one star only because I liked the webpage, other than that there shocking i got InTouch with Andy lee after days of emailing them he now ignoring my emails I only asked if i can return a unwanted item. stay clear guys

I ordered some wheel cylinders for my Toyota Aygo on the phone, they were in stock and cheaper that other suppliers, very fast service, recommended!

I have been to collect a sprint at the branch in Fakenham, I have to say it was not a good experience, the employee was rude, that first greeted us. It was not clear what we needed to do and she spoke to us as shortly and bluntly and continued to her jobs when really a good customer service is stopping what you are doing and helping the customer. Then the other employees just put our item in the trolley not saying anything left it there and walked off. Not good customer service at all.

I needed a bulb for day running lights.
Had no phone on me!
Wouldn’t serve me at all.
So basically turned me away and would have rather been seen me drive off without helping.
The attitude was ridiculous and I will never grace your stores again and will not encourage anyone else to do so at work from now on seen as I was in a company vehicle sign written and situated just up the road.
Poor service in general and awful customer service.

O and an update
They store manager phoned my work as I told him I was going to complain.
Apparently it’s common knowledge that branch has issues.

I am going to now escalate my complaint direct!!!

I urgently required plates for my car after being told by the DVLA to revert back to my old plates (due to selling my private registration) and had mild panic as everywhere online stated up to 10 days turn around. I am sorry to have not gotten the ladies name but KMB was on my invoice.

Thank you so much for Covid safely, speedily making up my plates for me.

You really did go above and beyond and I will recommend you highly.

Purchased a heater through Motor Parts Direct, first heater delivered was the wrong heater, second heater was correct but without correct bolts for the handle, sealey then delivered the bolts seperately which were wrong.

After deciding not to use this heater, we wanted to exchange it for a smaller version, to which we where told as its unboxed and the handle was assembled we cannot fo anything about it, and we are stuck with the heater.

the whole experience has been horrbile and i wouldnt recommend using Motor Parts Direct or Sealey for heaters.

You get much better experience through Amazon. Avoid at all costs.

Needed a part for my car that even Mercedes-Benz couldn't find with a part number. Called a Chap called Lee at the Fareham Branch, was fantastic, ordered and arrived quickly. Spot on service, great price and service. Highly recommended. Very many thanks.

A licence plate manufacturer recommended a local branch of Motor Parts Direct (Wokingham) to me for making up replacement front and rear licence plates.

The service at Moror Parts Direct, Wokingham was very friendly and efficient, my ID and documentation were checked and my plates made up in under 15 minutes at a very competitive price. Steve, the manager, was highly professional, explained in detail how to fit the plates and which fittings and accessories to use.

All-in-all a great experience made even better by the friendly and knowledgable manager and staff. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Asked for an oil product. Told "We do not stock that make", despite brand being obviously on shelf. Asked for alternative product. Clueless operative had no idea whatsoever.
