Mr Dweeb are fantastic. They repaired my laptop screen with such speed, skill and honesty. The standard of work is perfect, which is why they're happy to guarantee it. Seriously, there's no point going anywhere else. The Apple Store might call themselves "geniuses". These people actually are.

They diagnosed the problem for me quickly, and fixed it within a convenient timescale. I haven’t trusted anyone else with my computer so it’s good to know where I feel confident to go when there’s a problem. However I’m disappointed that the battery that was replaced less than 2 years ago was the cause, so I paid extra for a manufacturer’s brand battery this time.

Me dweeb put in a new hard disk in my old iPod and it works great. It’s old tech by today’s standards but just so handy to have especially for having your own music in the car

So, we popped into Mr. Dweeb's tech repair place to see how much it would cost to get the laptop screen fixed. After checking out a few other shops, we were really happy with how clearly they explained everything – all the different choices we had and what the downsides of each were. Really pleased with the repair and the new screen; it's absolutely brilliant!

On 3 Sept 2025, I paid £25 for a new battery in an old TV remote control. It had stopped working three months later. Much to my dismay, the lady in the shop looked at the receipt and told me that the battery had been replaced 3 months ago so I could not expect them to do anything. The original battery had lasted for many, many years - if they had told me that it would only last 3 months, I would not have spent £25. Then the man told me that the battery had stopped working because I had spilt liquid over it. I have no recollection of this - it was clear that they had taken my £25 and were quite happy for the battery only to last 3 months. Extremely poor service.

Took out laptop in to get missing screws replaced. Mr Dweeb gave the machine a thorough inspection and clean, identified problems behind the troublesome hinge and negotiated a price to fix everything. Thanks!

Staff are friendly and helpful to me as a non tech computer user.
There was a delay in the delivery of the part they had to replace and they kept me updated.
Computer now works perfectly. No data lost.

I took my daughter's iPhone in as it wasn't charging at all. They diagnosed the problem quickly and carried out the repair at a very reasonable price. Friendly service too.

Took my phone in to have the screen repaired and it was seen to straight away and repaired within an hour! Lovely people as well. Thanks very much!

Professional and friendly repairs to my laptop

Had urgent repair needed for laptop containing critical work info.

Initially I thought it was a battery problem - but Mr. Dweeb not only repaired the battery but also discovered the motherboard was the real issue - and kindly repaired the motherboard at no extra charge.

Great service + would definitely use again.

Mr. Dweeb should have been my first port of call! My mum's computer wasn't taking a charge and had died. I took it to the big company for repair; a week and much money later, they returned it to us with the same problem! I found Mr. Dweeb on Google maps (these reviews helped me choose), and I'm pleased to add my own positive review. I paid the charge for the premium service because this was an urgent matter by now; they got back to me quickly with a detailed explanation of what was wrong, and my mum had her computer back, restored to full functionality, the very same day! Now we know where to go with any computer problems.

Very efficient service and kept me up to date with the laptop repair, step by step. Have used them for a good few years now and have always been happy with the service and work.

I wasn't expecting such quick and efficient service! I dropped off my laptop on a Friday and it was fixed by Monday. Excellent!
