Mobile phone problem

Everything lost!
I wish I'd found these reviews before I took my Macbook Pro to Mr Dweeb. They have catastrophically wrecked years of my creative and other work and left me with an unfamiliar machine without even a working directory, let alone my archived work, correspondence, spreadsheets and everything else that records one's life.
So: initially I took the Macbook in because I couldn't update MS Word as it required OS 12. I had OS 11.7 and my Macbook can't take a newer OS. Mr Dweeb said I had to uninstall the OS in order to install OS 12. Had I backed up everything valuable? I said I have an Apple account which automatically saves backups at regular intervals. Fine, he said, because the uninstall will wipe everything. And it did. Nothing was saved to the Apple cloud except photos and vids. I lost years of archives, of creative work, financial records, legal battles, book designs. Mr Dweeb's owner mentioned that his staff member who had done the job was "new on the job and not so experienced". So no one was there to warn me to make a backup anyway, just in case. What they did has proved legally criminal and irresponsible. Totally unforgiveable. Don't touch them: they're thoughtlessly stupid. And they didn't even put OS12 on the Macbook, so I had to buy an under counter version of MS Office.

you requested a new OS to be installed as we have it booked in our system also you opted out for the backup as you said you have everything backed up on the cloud so we went ahead with your approval to install the latest OS that was available for your device, how are we to blame for you not backing up your own data before you bring it in. We always ask customer do you need your data which you replied NO, if you needed your data we provide a service to save your data before hand as we have been doing the same job for over 15 years!
We are not stupid and the new staff member also did nothing wrong as he put the the version that was supported for your device.
Please accept the fact that you made a mistake not backing up your own data before hand. we sold you a older version of office that worked with your device.

Mr Dweeb saved the day!!
I came across Mr Dweeb while desperately trying to find someone who could assemble a modular synth unit. I have zero soldering experience and was not about to start, and was having zero luck finding anyone who could do it. I found Mr Dweeb on a Google search, and gave them a call. They were very open to doing the work, and I took the kit to them. The price they charged was very reasonable, a great turnaround time, and they did a fantastic job! I'm so excited to have my finished unit—it works great and I can now happily do my video synthesis! Huge thanks!!

I took my phone and tablet to Ali at Mr Dweeb. Both developed problems on the same day. His manner was charming, reassuring and helpful. He fixed both faults quickly. I was amazed to find that he worked on a Bank Holiday! I understand the business has been present in the area for many years. It is a great asset to the community.

Despite a large influx of work at the time Mr Dweeb attended to my computer repair promptly and kept me informed of progress. Staff were aware of the need for their clients to have a speedy turnaround and they made sure that I did not have too much time to manage working from home on a smartphone; not easy when dealing with large documents and spreadsheets.
