From the moment Tom walked into my house, I knew that I had the right person, and team, for the job.
A 2-3 week job was done in 9 days.
The attention to detail and finishing off wax superb.
They had 2 main challenges to overcome, fix the very creaky stairs and creaky floorboards all over the house.
The former was achieved with some painstaking investigation and opening up and pinning of the 6 turning stairs plus screwing all the other ones down.
Perfect.
The latter was achieved by careful selection of rockwool, 22mm sound proof chipboard, 5mm acoustic underlay and 20mm walnut engineered wood. Again, solid, soundproof and perfect.
It was a pleasure to have Tom and his team.

Old pub style floor
Davey from Mr Sander did an excellent job for my floor. My request was to have an old pub-style floor, Davey understood what I wanted and nailed it! I'm so happy with the result and would happily recommend their service. If I need more floor done in the future, Mr Sander will be my choice :)

Ismael has done an amazing job
We had Ismael come by on really short notice, and honestly, I’m blown away by how good the job looks. The attention to detail is unreal, and it’s clear he’s gone the extra mile. He kept checking in with us along the way to make sure we were completely happy with everything he was doing.
On top of that, he’s just a genuinely friendly and easygoing guy. I’ll definitely be using his services again and won’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for similar work.

Upstairs floors sanded - great result
I had my floors sanded by Mr Sander and the whole experience was positive, from the initial quote visit, to the sanding experience and price. I asked lots of questions before deciding to put my trust in these guys & they were all patiently answered by Oscar. The people who carried out the sanding work - Vitor & Ismael - are a credit to the company. They were knowledgeable, diligent, hard working and courteous at all times. They regularly checked that I was happy with the work as it proceeded and the end result is fantastic. It was money well spent and I have no hesitation recommending this dynamic duo if you want your floors sanded.

We are so happy with how our floors…
We are so happy with how our floors turned out - it has completely changed the interior of our home and Vito and Ismael were really brilliant. Once the floors were sanded it became apparent they were two very different tones (they were covered in a very dark stain before so we didnt know as it was done by the previous owners) and the guys did such a great job of colour matching, working with us to make sure we could lift the colour as much as possible. They were so professional, very friendly and a pleasure to have in the house. They took extra precautions to cover anything that needed to be protected and sealed off areas to ensure no dust found its way out (however very minimal dust anyway). We really couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! We would highly recommend!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Communication was great from the initial contact, site visit, estimate and then the work itself. On the day Stoyan & Vladimir were very hard working and professional restoring my downstairs wooden floors following many years of neglect. The finish is superb and in effect I now have new flooring throughout my downstairs. Total transformation!
We were absolutely thrilled by the service. The team was prompt, courteous and professional. Poor job, but great response from the company
My original review (see update below) "Hm ... pushy sales team who keep emailing, calling and texting to check if you are going to book. Surly operative who did an average job after spending just a couple of hours with us each day sanding the floorboards in a tiny bedroom. First he ran out of replacement floorboards then the belt broke on his sander (apparently not carrying a spare). To be fair, he did give us a five per cent discount (on what we considered to be a very expensive job) due to the inconvenience. When leaving, he refused to clear the bag of wood shavings and small pile of floorboard sections left over after the work, but grudgingly took two large empty plastic varnish containers when we insisted our dustmen wouldn't pick them up. In summary, in spite of Mr Sander's painfully over the top marketing language, it was a less than inspiring experience."
UPDATE: After submitting this review we had an almost instant reply - and profound apology - from the guy who did the job and from Mr Sander's Managing Director. Really can't fault the MD's attitude: he demonstrated a willingness to fix the problem or provide some compensation, whilst making it clear that recompense wasn't dependent on us taking down our review. The offcuts left behind were removed from site, an additional goodwill gesture was offered (and accepted) and a promise was made to cut down on the persistent sales calls in future. We also received a hand-written apology and gifts from the sander himself, who will apparently receive further training ... So yes, on the basis of what I've heard, I would probably recommend in future.
