I have bought many things from Muddy…

I have bought many things from Muddy Paws over the last 4 years and I’ve always been delighted with both the quality and service received. Sadly after my latest experience with them, I’ve had to change my mind. I ordered a mattress and a coat for my dog on 21/11/17, I received the coat fairly quickly but after 6 weeks there was still no sign of the mattress, I was told it had been cancelled on the system as they were having trouble getting further supples and I would be receiving a refund within 5 days, that was 14 weeks ago.... Like everyone else, the company have stopped responding to my emails ect now and I’m fed up hearing, ‘it should be with you soon’ and ‘you should have received it by now’ that’s ok at the beginning but not at this stage!! I don’t like to see anyone going under but ultimately none of us can afford to throw this money away either. ***UPDATE*** Received a refund via PayPal yesterday 23/4/18

Payment taken - no reply, no product.

We've are a return customer to Muddy Paws which is a shame... our dog bed order should have arrived in 3-5 days. 7 days later I chased it up and was told they were having a 'horrible time' with their supplier.

I waited a 2nd week and then received a promotional email with 10% off my product - showing 'in stock'. Tried to contact Muddy Paws to cancel my order so that I could re buy using the promo code and noticed that full payment had already been taken on the dog bed which I found unusual before diapatch. Emailed to request they honour promo discount and update me on waiting time.

At three weeks I phoned the office... an answer phone message requested I email them due to staff sickness. I have emailed again to cancel my order which was placed 4 weeks ago and have still heard nothing. Muddy Paws still have my payment as the Credit Card company will only begin procedings after 30 days.

*** Thankfully we paid by credit card as just been informed company gone into liquidation***

I had also ordered items in March that I have not received. I emailed Muddy Paws and received an automated response - they have gone out of business. Information below for others in same situation:

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Muddy Paws (The Muddy Good Company Ltd.) has stopped trading as of 6 April 2018. As a result, any outstanding orders will unfortunately not be delivered. Steps are being taken to place the company into liquidation.

For refunds on any outstanding order please contact your credit or debit card provider, or Paypal, in the first instance to inform them that your paid for order will not be honoured due to the company’s insolvency. Only if your order is not refunded by these means, please email details of your order to xxx (can't display email)

Don't touch these crooks

Don't touch these crooks, I ordered 2 dog coats when they didn't arrive I tried to contact the company to no avail and today the phone number doesn't work, Absolutely raging is an underestimate, thieving gits! If I get my hands on them ******

Assume company out of business

Reading the reviews and their website now says checkout unavailable I assume they are out of business. Fortunately paid on credit card so will get funds back once I register the dispute (cannot register the dispute until 30 days have passed). Don't think you can order from them now but should it allow you, DON'T.

Avoid this company!

I ordered a dog Coat at the beginning of February and paid over £40 for it. I was then told it was out of stock for 2 weeks. After 3 weeks still no dog coat and I had been charged for it by my credit card company. I emailed them again and asked for a refund I have not yet received. My last email has not been answered and when I phoned there was a message to say no one Could take my call due to staff illness. I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Service is poor or the company is dishonest.

Absolutely outrageous what this company gets away with.

RUPERT HUMPHREY BROWN is the Director of this company, his address is: 2 The Paddocks, Iwerne Minster, Blandford, Dorset, DT11 8PJ. I'd suggest all future complaints go direct to him and land on his front door or even better, go and pay him a visit...

Same bad experience as most others

Same bad experience as most others. No delivery, No meaningful e mail replies, No telephone contact.

Looking at the company balance sheet, none of it surprises me.
Now handed my transaction over to PayPal as a dispute.

THIEVES

Ordered two dog coats which did not arrive at all so I cancelled my order and asked for a refund which they emailed to say it was in process. I’m still awaiting my refund and have sent numerous emails/telephone calls which all have an answer machine message of saying either due to staff shortages, family illness out of the office etc etc basically excuse after excuse. They are not a company that I would advise anyone to use at all as all they do is steal your money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES .
I will be passing all this information onto the relevant people to deal with as this company needs to be made to pay people back there money and sease trading.

took an age to get the coat I ordered…

took an age to get the coat I ordered for my dog, when it arrived it was too big so ordered a smaller size and sent larger one back, smaller one was held up due to stock levels. They sent an email saying they would cancel the order as they could not deliver in the time I specified. The order then arrived about two weeks later. I also sent this back. I am now owed for two dog coats, amounting to £125.72 which were sent back in February, to date I have not received the refund. Sent them emails to which they replied have been to the warehouse and your return is with us, we will refund, this was the beginning of March and still here in April now and nothing. I would not recommend this company, I think they are really amateurish.

I can completely agree with the comments, they happily took my money in February but still no sign of my goods, they have said they'll refund my money but still no sign!
Avoid them like the plague!
How can we get these messages on Social media?

Terrible experience from this company…

Terrible experience from this company ANOTHER review to AVOID AVOID AVOID! Ordered two dog beds for almost £100. Paid for next day Delivery, another £8.00 and THREE WEEKS later still no sign of dog beds or a refund but they have happily taken my money! I have left countless emails, phone calls and voicemails all with no reply! This company needs to be closed down by the looks of things! Ripping people off left right and centre!

THEY TOOK MY MONEY BUT FAILED TO DELIVER AND REFUND. I ordered goods for a puppy on 5th November and the money was taken at the time. My calls and mails about the long wait went unanswered until I finally reached someone who claimed to be the boss. His advice was to decline the delivery when it arrived, he wouldn’t stop it - and order direct from him next time!

Some of the order arrived in late December. I returned it and it was signed for on 25 January 2018. I am still waiting for the refund they told the Marks and Spencer’s chargeback team that I would get as soon as the order was returned. I did have an email in February asking me to bear with them but as at the end of March my money has not been refunded. I’m concerned by what I read here and see something more sinister than chaos. I’m taking legal advice.

Do not buy from this company, you will be left out of pocket.

Attempted to buy a dog coat from muddypaws.co.uk, waited the 5 working days for the item to be delivered and nothing arrived. Emailed to ask for an update and received a reply a day later stating that there was an issue with the supplier and it would be in stock within a few weeks. I replied surprised that this was the first I was hearing of this and requested a refund as I needed the item before they could supply it. 3 days later receive an email saying that the refund would be processed automatically.
1 week later no refund, chase and receive a reply stating that the weather was affecting the ability to respond to emails.
2 weeks later no refund and ask for an update, reply stating that the refund would be process.
3 weeks ask why my refund is taking so long to process after they took my money 24hrs after purchase knowing that the item was not in stock. Receive a reply 5 days later saying it would be looked into by a manager.
4 weeks later, request update before I am forced to take this issue with trading standards, the director of the company replies to state that they are personally processing the refund.
5 weeks later no refund.

Tired with the excuses and delays with my refund I have contacted Trading Standards and asked my card provider to refund me and pursue muddy paws for the amount.

I can not believe that muddy paws can take your money, fail to update you on stock levels and refuse to refund you when requested. I would advise anyone not to use this company as the products and prices they offer are to good to be true.

Surprising they occasionally answer the phone but always find the time to update the answer phone message with staff illness and weather updates.

Also to add insult to injury they don't like replying to daily emails but do send offers to let you know what imaginary stock is on offer!

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company - reporting them to Trading Standards, as others are now doing. As have purchased on credit card over the £100 figure will also be instructing bank to take up my refund case. When you enquire to status of your order, all you receive is waffle and LIES. Ordered first week in January, I have no goods but they have my money, 3 months down the line! Also irritating is they contacted me in November 2017 saying they were receiving bad press and as past customer (ordered once couple years ago) would I post my comments, which I did.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not buy from this company. I have returned two items to them and received no refund for either item, despite confirmation that they have received the returned goods and will be refunding me.

After numerous emails and phone calls chasing the money, I still am out of pocket and will be reporting this company to Trading Standards. What they are doing is surely illegal.

The worst online company I have ever dealt with. Buy from them at your peril!

Very bad service.
Ordered a dog bed and from the look of previous reviews have receive the same poor service.
No bed, no answer to emails or calls.
No in process to cancel payment with the credit card company.
What a scam.

HORRENDOUS experience!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

The stock showing as available on their website is NOT actually available - I tried calling to chase the order, but no-one EVER answers the phone!
I managed to get a couple of email responses, but only 1 word/short replies....no solutions, alternative options or ACTUAL HELP!!

STILL awaiting refund and chasing daily!

THE COMPANY SHOULD BE REPORTED AND SHUT DOWN!!

Do not even bother to order from this…

Do not even bother to order from this company. I am awaiting a simple, quick, easy, no fuss exchange of a dog coat. I have telephoned no reply, I have emailed no reply. Beginning to think they have gone bust. A completely utter waste of time and pretty useless company that are unable to deal with customers.
