AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Like so many others before me, I too wish I had seen these awful reviews before purchasing.

I purchased a dog bed on March 4th which was sold to me as an ‘in stock’ item. Four days later, I still hadn’t received my item so I sent them an email to ask for an update. 24 hours later and still no reply, so I sent another. I also attempted to call them, to which I got an immediate voicemail (to this day, after countless attempts, I am still unable to get a dialling tone for this company). Eventually I get a reply to my email stating that they are suffering “supply issues” and will send the goods when they have them in a few weeks time. Not good enough really when the item was sold to me as in-stock, not to mention that they hadn’t even bothered to let me know - I had to seek contact with them. I asked to cancel my order for a refund, to which I was told by email it would be processed automatically. Well three weeks later and I am still waiting for that refund, and judging from others experiences, I think it’s unlikely I’ll ever get it from Muddy Paws. I would NEVER order from this company again. There is no excuse for poor customer service; like others, I feel I have been deceived and I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing. I urge you not to use this company ever! And for those who have not received refunds, be aware that if you report this transaction to your bank within 45 days of purchasing, they can attempt to recover your money directly from the company. I am in the process of doing this with my bank’s debit card disputes department and hope to have my refund within 10-15 days.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Taken my money, £63, for item that it said was in stock. Had a phone call 2 weeks after ordering to say Item is not in stock and is no longer available. I was told I would get an immediate refund but I am still waiting a week later.
Having read a number of recent reviews this is how the company is operating. It takes payment for your order knowing the goods are not in stock and then does not give you a refund.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, YOU WILL NOT GET THE GOODS OR YOUR MONEY BACK.
LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO DO AS OTHERS HAVE DONE AND GO TO COURT FOR REDRESS.

THANK YOU PAYPAL FOR RECOVERING MY MONEY.

Ordered a dog coat in February have not…

Ordered a dog coat in February have not received it when chased up by email got an automated email saying due to bad weather orders are late going out, left it for a while and emailed again saying the same, tried calling and left messages several times asking for refund, emailed me back saying would return money but still waiting .

Would not recommend this company wished I read the reviews before.

I ordered dog beds on the 2nd of…

I ordered dog beds on the 2nd of January, payment taken immediately. The beds have not been delivered and I have had a number of emails saying there are delays with the supplier. I email I received today tells me the office has been shut. I assume they are no longer trading.

Do not order from these people!

I wish I had found this review site before ordering. Like the many others on here I put in an order (total £109) and the money was taken from my credit card immediately. This was two months ago and the items still have not arrived. I've asked for a refund but whether I will get it who knows. I certainly would not recommend them and will never order from them again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Like the previous reviewer, I wish I could allocate no stars for this company. I have still not received dog bedding ordered in January (for which the money was taken rather swiftly). I received an email shortly afterwards, advising me that there was a slight delay. I have heard nothing since and have had no reply to emails or phone messages. I ordered through the company as my experience last year was good. There are clearly massive problems now. I receive almost daily email shots advertising the very items I am awaiting, so clearly the company is still trading. I too shall be seeking legal advice in order to have my money refunded.

I ordered a dog bed at the beginning of January. The item was in stock.
I waited for weeks but I received nothing.
At the beginning of February, I received an email, saying they didn't have the bed in stock and were waiting for more stock from the supplier.
At the beginning of March, I sent a request asking what was going on. I got the answer that they were waiting for stock from the supplier.
I felt like something was wrong. I started reading the reviews about the company on the internet. And I was appealed by what I read.
I decided to cancel my order. They offered a refund. But they never gave me any money back.
I filled a complain on the PayPal website. And PayPal just gave me my money back. They stated that Muddy Paws never answered their complain and the money is from PayPal not Muddy Paws.

I'd rank 0 stars if I could as I find…

I'd rank 0 stars if I could as I find myself in the same position as the bulk of reviewers (I wish I'd found this forum earlier) -Muddy paws are obviously in trouble & going under. DON'T order from them.
I feel sorry for the office girl who I did (finally) speak to a couple of weeks ago who admitted that the company was in chaos. She promised a refund for the 2 undelivered dog beds that I ordered back on 3rd Jan, as yet no sign. No one answering the phone & no response to e-mails. I've received advice today from Trading standards & they say I can revert to my bank as I paid by Debit card & they will refund the cash to me & make a claim with the company for good not received.

I ordered a number of items from…

I ordered a number of items from Muddypaws on 14th February 2018 including a Danish Design Sherpa Fleece Slumber Bed for my new puppy. I received all of the items apart from the bed on 23rd Feb a little late due to a problem with the bed. The bed was delivered directly from the supplier the following week - despatched on 28th Feb and delivered the following day by express delivery. I found Rupert's advice very helpful when I was choosing a bed and he kept in touch both by email and telephone to let me know what was going on when there was a delay with the delivery of the bed. He promised that I would receive the bed in time for when I picked up my new puppy and he kept his promise - Thank you Rupert! My puppy absolutely loves his new bed and the matching blanket. I'm very pleased with all of the products I ordered. Huge thanks again Rupert and apologies for the late review.

Same story

Same story! Ordered a dog coat 21st January and money was taken from my account. Two months went past, three emails got automatic responses which were never followed up. Fortunately, I had paid using paypal, so was able to ask for a refund through them. The money has just been credited to my account. I will check companies more carefully in future!

Do NOT order from Muddy Paws at this point. Or possibly, never.

Do NOT order from Muddy Paws. I placed an order for two dog beds 6 weeks ago, money was charged to my card the same day. Then, nothing happened.. I started chasing (nicely), I am still chasing. I received emails saying that there are problems with suppliers and items not in stock, but they should be in stock in 2 weeks. No one ever bothers responding to the phone calls, emails are answered after a few days with some new promises.
I have now gone to the length to calling the actual supplier (Danish Design Dog Bed), and asked them whether there were really problems with these beds...surprise surprise, they are all in stock! So... 6 weeks later, I have paid £100 to Muddy Paws, no delivery, but apparently dog beds are plentiful available. So, I red flagged Muddy Paws with Danish Design Beds this AM.
Clearly, Muddy Paws is in deep trouble, and though I am genuinely hoping they will recover form this, I urge every customer to not place an order there at this point.
The last email response from this AM was: "Please note that due to the offices being closed at the end of last week we do have a backlog of emails and orders to go out, so it may take us a little longer than usual to respond to you.
Many thanks for your email to us here at Muddy Paws. We aim to answer all emails within one business day, however from time to time this may take a little longer. Please be assured we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Best Wishes, Muddy Paws"
What's left to say...? Hugely disappointing.

Exactly the same happened with me as…

Exactly the same happened with me as the previous reviews. Do not use this company. I have passed the case to my credit card company as the refund has not been forthcoming and they do not answer the phone or emails. Do not use them EVER.

Terrible company, PLEASE DON'T USE!

Had an awful experience with this company and I feel really compelled to share it with other people in the hope it will deter people from using them.
I thought my case might have been a one off but it infuriated me all the more when I read the reviews on here, only to find out that this company has done exactly the same to many others too!
My experience is much the same. Ordered a dog bed, after a week heard nothing, contacted company and was told it was delayed and asked if would prefer to cancel the order.
I did, but after numerous phone calls and e-mails (mostly unanswered) never received the refund.
My bank then took the matter up on my behalf.
Please, please avoid this company, don't be fooled by their website, just go elsewhere.

Helpful service and good quality.

I ordered a dog bed on 30th November and it was delivered promptly. I had to change the delivery address but this was acknowledged rapidly and the order amended. The bed is good quality and so far is showing little signs of the impact of a Labrador. Thank you Muddy Paws, I will be visiting the site again.

If I could give no stars, I would.
Worst customer service ever.
I ordered a product listed as in stock, with a 3-5 day delivery time.
5 weeks later, no product, no refund and no-one ever answers the phone!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Very poor experience - will not be using them again

A month ago I ordered a dog collar from Muddy Paws. It arrived after a few days but I had to return it as it was too big. I sent it back recorded delivery so I know it arrived but I have heard nothing since and there has been no refund. I have tried to contact them on the phone number they give but it goes to a recorded message. I have emailed but no reply as yet.
I have paid postage both ways which has made the whole thing quite expensive. The worst thing is the lack of communication and lack of refund.
I will not be buying anything from them again

I ordered a dog bed on the 4th March…

I ordered a dog bed on the 4th March just after 'Beast from the East' had hit. Obviously there were a lot of delays with deliveries following the bad weather, but the guys from Muddy Paws kept me informed of delivery dates when I chased my order. When they told me the dog bed I ordered was out of stock, they offered me the next size up at no extra charge and it arrived the next day. You can only speak as you find and I have nothing but praise for this company. Thank you.

Customer complaint

As previous reviews I also ordered a dog bed in early January with money taken from my account at time of order. 2/3 weeks later as nothing had arrived I called the 0845 number to told it would be posted the following Tuesday. I waited...nothing arrived. I emailed and called this tine leaving a voicemail asking someone to call me. No returned call. After
5 weeks I was told via email the bed would be with me in 10 days. Nothing arrived. Finally I decided to cancel the order. Now 10 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. Apauling customer service. Please can I have my money back. Is there a governing body who deals with such issues? This cannot be allowed.
