Great independent jewellery company, affordable classics, timeless and quirky jewellery. Good communication and lovely packaging, I got the classic Chunky T-Bar necklace - love it 🥰

I bought the sold-out XL T-bar necklace…

I bought the sold-out XL T-bar necklace in the gold colour & I absolutely love it. It’s lightweight yet chunky – looking. Wear it pretty much all the time including in the shower and in the sun: – neither of which has had any effect on it. I really recommend this if you want affordable, non-tarnish jewellery for everyday wear. I’ve knocked a star off just because it took an age to come & their communication about that could’ve been better… but overall a good experience and I really do like my necklace.

Please confirm my return

I bought the T-bar necklace after seeing the ads all over instagram but unfortunately when It came I found the colour of the gold to be darker than I expected so I returned it, that was in early September and I received my refund because I had paid through Klarna, but neckontheline has yet to confirm my return, I have sent emails asking for confirmation and I have the delivered notification from Royal Mail but still no confirmation from Neckontheline???

No response to attempts to contact for missing items

I purchased some necklaces in the buy 2 get 2 free. However one necklace was mising from the order . I have emailed, contacted through website and DM yet literally no response not even an acknowledgement of my email. Its a shame as the jewellery itself is nice. But would like what i paid for and now I am in a bit of a limbo as I am a £59 necklace missing and radio silence from the company

Shame that when people actually order this it doesn't get delivered and you don't respond to emails, DMs or posts, I ordered this on the 22nd July and have had radio silence ever since, scammers do not purchase

Urgent: Order Not Delivered Since July 8th – Request for Immediate Action

I’m writing to express my frustration with the way your customer care team has been handling my order. I placed an order on the 8th of July, and as of today, the 4th of August, I have yet to receive it.

Despite reaching out several times, the agent assigned to my case has been unresponsive after initially asking me to reconfirm my delivery address. I have sent multiple follow-up emails, yet there has been little to no communication or update regarding my order status.

At this point, I would like to request either the immediate delivery of my order or a full refund. This delay and lack of proper customer support are unacceptable, and it’s becoming increasingly upsetting.

I expect a prompt resolution.

sadly not tarnish free ):

I am a big fan of this brand and their jewellery designs and I have bought rings and earrings and necklaces. However I am now finding their tarnish free claim (also saying you do not have to take off the jewellery) is not true, I have had necklaces since 2021 which I did not take off and they are a different coloured gold to my actual gold jewellery as they have tarnished. I think I will just stick to the earrings and rings which I don’t keep on. Still giving 3 stars because I like the designs and would probably still shop here.

You put your NECK on the line with this one...

No, because why did you guys not process my order till March 24th when I ordered my item on March 6th? Your FAQ states international shipping delivery time is 6-12 days from day of shipment. So during those 6-12 days my item didn't even get dropped off for shipping. I know this from the Royal Mail tracking, it says parcel dropped off in parcel shop March 24th. IT TOOK 2 weeks! I had made sure there would be enough time for the gift to reach my mom before we head to a trip in Hawaii for my sisters wedding. I even sent out an email asking about an update prior to the parcel status on March 21st. Then received a response March 28th. Clearly, their team forgot about my order and decided to finally go ship my order days after my response. Not to mention, their team responded a week later to my email, with no apologies. I'm sorry, I know you are an independent jewelry shop, but this has been a very unpleasant experience ordering from your site this time around. It tells me a lot about your company. My advice to you is hire more people, change your shipping terms if you can't adhere to them properly and respond to customers in a timely manner. I don't feel appreciated as a customer shopping your site. The worst part is this is my 3rd time ordering with the company and they failed to deliver a pleasant experience in every regard. They are lucky this is a gift for my mom, if she doesn't like it in even the slightest, this will not be the last time hearing from me. I'm not the one and I'm not two to play with when it comes to my money. You DO NOT simply receive an order and fail to care to adhere to your policies and customer service, unless you are just running this shop for the money. Which you have lost a customer. Your loss, not mine, I rather go where me and my money is appreciated.

Poor customer experience

I bought the heart necklace which arrived quickly but the quality was not good. It looked and felt like costume jewellery.

I tried to return it but there were no clear returns instructions and their website was no longer available. I saw the business owner had posted on their Instagram about taking time out for personal reasons. I appreciate this is a small business however it’s not a great customer journey or experience to be left in the dark about whether your item will be returned and refunded.

I contacted them via Instagram and after chasing I was told to send my item back. My refund took more time than I expected and required further chasing. As soon as they messaged me back the response was along the lines of ‘it’s been refunded please check your spam’ and at the exact same time a refund notification came through from Klarna that they had received my return.

My intention is not to slate this business but I’ve been disappointed with the experience and therefore wouldn’t be a return customer.

For the first time in 10 years I closed down the website due to a very serious personal issue, I posted it on social media as i was unable to reach out to everyone individually. Lovely independent jewellery company…

Lovely independent jewellery company with some great retro items.
I ordered a beautiful Horse shoe stone set necklace as a Christmas present for my daughter. She absolutely loved it and wears it most of the time.
If you’re looking for something a bit different, providing good service and speedy delivery,definitely check out Neck on the line website! 😊

Non existent customer service

Emailed regarding a return, eventually got a reply after 3 days with a name and address to return. Sent the item in its original packaging (it wasn’t even opened) and that is the last I heard from them despite 3 follow up emails. Shocking really. They’ve probably received the item and resold for double the profit
